So, I have my wedding, the honeymoon, etc. Sink almost every penny I have into the whole sha-bang.... Towards the end of the first day back of work,
I'm called into the conference room....and then I'm #ing fired!!!
What the #? Geez guys, you could have told me this before I spent a ton of
money on the honeymoon.....
Not to mention, they didn't even give me a god damned reason why!!! (FL is a right to work state, so they don't
have to...) I really didn't see this coming at all.... I mean I knew my boss was kind of scared of my experience and knowledge of the work and all,
but I had NO idea it was this far...
That's the only thing I can think of, as I have a stack of client compliment letters..... The only solace I have is knowing how shocked they'll be
when the clients call up asking to speak to only me, and then they have to tell them that I'm "no longer with the company" which is the phrase
they'll use...which really means, "we're #ing idiots, and fired one of the most knowledgable reps we had...."
Well, I'm hitting the temp agencies today, and already filed for unemployment (though I'm sure I'll be working before that even goes in
motion....still, good backup)... I've never actually been fired before....always quit previously...so this is really an eye-opener.... Even those
co-workers I'd call friends don't seem to have a clue why (or if they do, they're playing dumb...)
What a great way to start married life.....#in' bastards.... I can't even defend myself, as I don't know what I'm defending against!!! Not that
it would matter at this point...what's done is done.... Still, I'd like to know....
Assholes...... They're lucky I'm a nice
guy....seeing as how singlehandedly, I could put the company out of commission for days, and cost them thousands, possibly more, and lost clients....
But, I'm not that kind of person (and they know it)...nor would I do something that stupid....but man, I just had to rant for a bit.....:bash:
