all written words are/ were written by humans who believed they were
writing words "inspired" by god. this fact alone makes this conversation
null and void. the fact is, you are given a choice to believe in a higher
power or not, plain and simple. i , personally KNOW there is a controller
who will answer if asked. OP, i feel inside your kidding and making up
stuff to engage in conversation only. you'll change as you age and
experience life on your own.

Survival of the fitest is the rule of growth.

If our father has several children that are put into a room with an "older" curupt child. If the older crupt child convinced half of those children to jump off the roof, and half the children are lost, while the other half know better and let the crupt child fall away.

Being a winny bitch won't get no one no where.

You are talking child vs older child, would that still apply to child vs adult?

If you are implying that the Bible is about more than one Deity, I'm aware of that but I'm trying to keep it simple here. Get people to think.

Yes that's exactly what I'm implying, that the quotes which you stated in the opening post may be attributed to various gods in the Jewish pantheon, and not necessarily Jehovah.

In the first three words of the Bible this is explained.

I believe in a higher power I never said I didn't, my question is why everone seems to know that the ones given to us by the controlers of this world are the true Universeal Gods. I mean we can't even make up or minds on one religion in the same religion Christians. Am I the only one who sees the danger of blind faith

I don't understand why you think you know, what proof do you have beside that of the Roman Empire story.

I just got onto someone yesterday for this. If you ask a question regarding the Christian God, Christian theology, and Christian Bible, then expect the topic of conversation and answers to be targeted to this. You brought up the topic of discussion and quoted Bible verses- not me. So to turn around now and say "prove it" is irrelevant. You are the one that took your questions from the Bible and started the discussion concerning the alleged cruelty of the Judeo-Christian God.

I'm not going to make a thread asking about the attributes of Zeus when I do not believe he is real and then tell someone who answers me to prove their answer. As far as I'm concerned, he doesn't exist so why I would be remotely concerned with their proof? I asked a question because I'm curious. Not to be ridiculous. Unfortunately, this is exactly what skeptics do. They don't want an honest answer. It's just another chance to argue. They try to "evangelize" to us in a round about way thinking they're going to poke holes in our beliefs. It's not going to happen.

Just because I've never seen a UFO I cannot tell someone who has that they do not exist. Just because you do not know God, you cannot tell someone who does that He does not exist. You cannot tell someone who has seen an angel that angels do not exist. See where I'm going with this? You haven't seen it so it must all be silliness. If you want to know something, then ask. For curiosity's sake. If you ask a question then turn the tables by saying prove it, your underlying motives have now been exposed. You don't really want to know- you just want to debunk Christianity.

People have been trying to over 2,000 years. It's not going to happen.

wow man talk about missing the ENTIRE point of faith and why we are here!

Faith: a belief in something not seen or recognized as scientifically being 'real'

furthermore, anyone dead dying or otherwise is moving onto greener pastures(if you wish to quote scripture, otherwise you most likely do not believe in heaven anyway, and if so why acknowledge Jehovah as God), a place we call heaven...keep in mind that whatever evils befall man are temporary and mean zero..the body is meat, a vessel only, the soul is absolute...worry more about your soul than getting punched in the mouth, it doesnt matter.

More specifically, your insinuation that God is evil is way off track..the purpose for death and suffering, even among innocent(non of us are as we are all born sinned) isn't meant to imply god is angry or evil...its simply a facet of the steps we take toward salvation..so as you can imagine the 'unfair' deaths are meaningless.

We're only here for a cup of coffee.

Historical sidebar:

Y'shua died for all the sins of man, including the elimination of Jewish Law(Torah)...that said, once he did this selfless act we see that God himself altered his methods dramatically, gone are the days of fire from heaven to destroy the wicked.....thats done. Christ did that for YOU whether you like it or not. So, God is not evil, in fact he loves us all and only wants us to know him.

hope that helps some.

Did you not read Religions. I think I already posted that I was a Christian and thats why I used Jahovah. I also posted that if you are looking at the problem from a one religion point of view its like trying to create a huge picture with only a piece of the puzzel. I know you can read ash come on!!

FIRST of all people!

dont confuse Dogma/Religion with the Gospels of Christ and his Apostles.

BIG BIG Difference, religious institutions were created to make and keep law as well as govern people and collect tax...its more of a corporate endeavor than anything else, why else have degrees of servitude within religion if we are all EQUALS?!

I only recognize the Gospel of Y'shua...the only person to EVER full-fill all 133 some odd prophecies (prophecized looooong before he was born by multiple people) to the exact letter........

I see you need change it up now that you've been proven wrong. I noted you didn't responde to my first responce to this thread yet.

You my friend have it all wrong. You are giving far too much credit.

the "bigger child" now is an "adult"? LOL

you give evil far too much credit brother...

besides, your argument is flawed in several ways.

God hasn't left his children alone in a room with no evil force. God, "our father" is right there sitting in the room and it just requires "the child" to walk over and stand by.

So if you wish to be foolish enough to believe such LIES, that's on you.

I know the truth. With God, we are never alone. The only "alone" anyone is is that which they will themselves by turning their back on the will of our father...

Please Grow Up! (not an insult. a request. Grow means to strech out, and up means to move toward the truth) Grow Up!

I saw your previous reply to another poster but I'm not buying it which is why I brought up the point again. I'm not naive. You cannot specifically name only "Jehovah" (a title only Jews and Christians use to refer to God), quote from the Bible and only the Bible, mention only Judeo-Christian theology, and then think by throwing the words "all religions" in there you'll get away with it.

You're trying to con an ex con. I used the same fail safes in the past before I was a believer so it wouldn't look like I was being intolerant. Sorry, but I see right through it.

ah a fellow enlightened Christian..well said brother/sister well said.

I can only hope people seek in correct areas of life to find the true answer...really one has to read the bible countless times to really understand all the points ive made here...from a pedestrian view it would seem God is contradictory and all that..but i ASURE you he is not and all things make oerfect sense when studied.

LOL it was just a question, and you are way off, you believe the way you believe because you were taugh to believe that way. If you grew up in the wilderness, away from all the madness, you would not believe this crap thats shoved in or face at birth!!!! Be Real. The religions of the day aren't natural!!!! They are man made.

It is.

The bible is a collection of stories that reflect MORE than one God. This is why he seems to be in contradiction of himself or sometimes three different segments of a whole. The acient texts were plagerized and stirred in a pot and the bible was the result. Some of it was arranged purposefully to mislead people. For example the horns are a holy symbol, not a symbol of evil. There is no "literal" devil nor a "hell" for that matter and If some bearded man in a robe came to me floating down from a cloud I know what to do. Run.

It's all a hoax to hide a truth that is difficult to swallow.

The stories from the manufactured bible were inspired by what mostly took place, in ancient Sumeria. What the Bible has done is doomed a lot of people to a cycle they can only hope to break free of.

again you assume much and know little.

You think I was "brought up" I was not.

I did grow up in the wilderness. "Welcome to the Jungle"

I had no religious training. I was not pushed to believe anything. I see the foolishness of religion. It is matched be the foolishness I see here and now.

You don't know me dude. You are making alot of false assumptions. You are wrong on all accounts. Instead of "trying to get others to think" maybe you should try to get yourself to think first.

The "things" I know of God were born within me. I knew of God before I knew how to speak the toung of the fleshly world.

You should truly consider where you're going with this before speaking again. Let this be a little soul poke for you.
