Death and destruction are just as natural and "God like" as birth and creation. You need one for the other. "God" is Truth and is all things at all times. "God" is the ongoing present moment, creation, and manifestation of the Mind. Jahovah, Christ, God, Allah..... all just metaphors and outward projections of that which is the constant creator, which is everything that senses and interacts with this reality, or any other realities.

I believe the real Satan or AntiChrist or what ever you want to call it is simply the act of your perception upon it. "God" is what is, the "Devil" is creating an image of that, giving it a name, setting rules and regulations that you have to bow to and uphold. The Tree of Knowledge, the garden of eden, is simply the point of consciousnesses "history" where the spark of Dualism set in, and we were forced to choose sides.

Good and Evil are the same. All those quotes of an "unjust god" are really one metaphor speaking upon another metaphor. There really is no difference between killing off thousands of ants and rats because they infest us, and "God" destroying thousands of human lives. It is the ebb and flow of life, we just think we are more important because we have the minds to perceive it.

The worship of Isis, the worship of Ra and the worship of El Isis Ra El Israel!!!!!

You believers are walking in on the movie at the end a you think you know whats going on, NO!!!! LOL You should have seen this story from the begaining then things start to make sense... You simply can not take one peice of a puzzle and prsent it as the entire picture, that is lunacy.

very sensible, if you ask me.

erm, i noticed you didn't ask me. lol
that was just a colloquialism (edited it with spell checker!) ( i have always wanted to use it in a sentence and i'm not sure i used it properly).

but anyway, i have similar thinking on the subject although perhaps not as strongly to the negative as yourself. the book is loaded with great info, occassionally sprinkled with incomprenhensible events, and all of it tossed in a pot and mixed together.
it yields gems of wisdom that surprise. you can read the same verse on two different days and find it means two entirely different things to you on a personal level. it' has good instruction and weird instruction. overall, it's an amazing text. but yeah, there's a few problems with translation. that i agree with you on. how much the mistranslations change my position is neglible since i wasn't converted by any inherent fear in it, but the love in it, where it can be found.

The show from the beginning? What? That there are other races ni the universe? You know your audience is not made up of people from the middle ages and even they weren't entirely without knowledge.

Ra is not a solar god, at least, not if my studies are correct. Somebody misunderstood the red disk

Take for instance the passage in the old testament (King James version, I think) that claims that Jehovah is a "jealous God". Well, that was a mistranslation. In the Hebrew language "J" and "Z" are the same letter, and the person translating it read "jealous" instead of "zealous"

The Hebrew word used in Exodus 20:5 for jealous is:

H7067
קנּא
qannâ'
kan-naw'
From H7065; jealous: - jealous. Compare H7072

In the Hebrew alphabet the letters Y, J, and I are used interchangeably for the letter "Yod", and Z for the letter "Zayin".

Amen-Ra
A dual deity devised to merge the worship of Amen with the older solar cult of Ra. By combining the two, the deities are said to dwell within one another

The texts are wrong.

Ra preceeded his legends, ya know, at least, that's my theory based on the data I've collected. I think he is Enki. and the red disk is not solar but Mars.

Can you supply a reference on this data?

surely.

In the Legend of the Destruction of Mankind, Ra is referred to as having skin like gold, bones like silver and hair like lapis lazuli. this was the exact same description of Enki's E.ABZU temple. It was gold on the outside, silver on the inside with blue lapis lazuli decoration. In the akkadian period, Enki became known as Ea. Also during this period, Nimrod (who I believe was also Osiris), moved to Egypt (to Abydos, to be precise) and refounded their civilization (this being after the massive flooding of the region which went from the Mediterranean to Mesopotamia, at the very least, but is today called the Black Sea Flood.

It's my theory that he took the fame of Ea with him to Egypt and thus began the prominence of Ra, which was shortly after followed by Nimrod's (Osiris') death (i have a theory on this too lol) and his subsequent following, which had already been kickstarted by his fame as a living person. Remember, it says he BECAME a mighty one before the Lord. There's alot of info in that short sentence.

I'm not sure how familar you are with ancient Egypt, but there's a very old symbol that was said to represent the egyptian goddess Bat, yes Bat. She was considered a predecessor or early version of Hathor. Her symbol, archaeologists presumed was a pair of horns and cows eyes, was in fact a framework for holding a disk. Bat originally represented the milky way or the starry sky, not the sun.

Remember too, the ancients already had constellations and stars picked out that signified special things. For example, in the sumerian texts, Enki's E.ABZU is connected to the Field Constellation (I.Iku, Great Square of Pegasus).

Hathor figures prominently in the Legend of the Destruction of Mankind. She is called the Eye of Ra, and she goes out to destroy the people of the Earth. She is depicted as sporting a RED disk on her head. Do you know why?

Xclucifer-If your trying to convert religious people to your way of thinking. Then your completely wasting your time. Religion is like a nail, the harder you hit it, the deeper it gets. Let them believe whatever they want to believe, whichever way it turns out, for better or for worse. It's their prerogative.

I think it's great if you get something out of it. And I agree: any books that inspire are always provide more on a different day, in a different mood, in a different light... I think every religion has something positive to contribute. It's all a big mixed pot, to use your expression (i think that was what you said, anyway).

Cheers,

Well he presented a deep argument, and will get a deep response. lol
It's okay if the deep is for your position but if it's against it, it's just a person reaching for straws.

I have pictures and references and links and the whole schebang. Just don't know if this is the appropriate thread to put them in.
they are in my stargates are real thread, though.

You are correct, why?
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
If an individual can understand that Faith has substance and provides to the person's heart evidence concerning what is not seen with the visible eye, then how in the world can anyone, or anything (as in the fictions, fables) remove an individual from their faith. Faith has "nothing" to do with the head. So you see, all these stories can enter the head, but it's hard to get words into a heart. It is God who guards the heart and what He has placed in it.

Are you saying the highest being in the Universe, Smartest of the smart can't come up with a better way to teach then MASS MURDERER. You have to be under the worst kind of mind control to believe that!!!!

You speak as if all God did was kill. You need to read the entire Bible, not just selected tidbits. God gave the Jews a homeland and took care of them. He smote their enemies and gave them the prophets to lead them.

They chose to disobey. The way I look at it is God gave them what they needed at the time. That's why later he sent his son Jesus to die for their sins so all our sins could be forgiven.

The God of the old testament was different prior to the new convenant set forth by Christ. That was what was needed at the time...call it tough love or whatever.

Christ said to know Him was to know the Father, that God was love. And He is. I'm sorry if your taking so much out of context to envision yourself a horrible god that you can blame your troubles on.

There is no mind control here, its all free-will brother. You choose what you want to believe. You want to believe in a hateful god and have a lousy life... go for it. I choose to believe in a loving God and trust in Him. It may not all make sense to me all the time... but that's because I am human and don't have a clue to God's true purpose.

But I do know that He loves me, so I trust Him.

Its like if your best friend told you it was ok and to trust him, you would. Well, Christ is my best friend and he says God is love and to trust him... so I do. I know that sounds childish...but it gets me by. I also believe I am a better person for trying to live a Christ-like life.

Sorry to be so wordy, but I've heard your argument before and it doesn't stand up. I repect your right to believe it though... but I do believe you are wrong. Have you tried the books of Samuel or Daniel?

Good luck to you and keep searching for the truth!
