well....lets see here....i'll go back to 1963, buy a tempest wagon, stash
it at an old garage i know of... bring it back. stuff it with a 383 stroker.

yeah, thats it!!!!!

What a bunch of junk. The description of the "resonator" is no where close to any scientific theory of time travel we have now. I would love to give this guy a few physics equations for him to solve and watch him try and talk his way out of it, haha. Like this guy came along and with no knowledge of actual science created "energies" that take three minutes to build up in your head and allow you to time travel, hahaha. idiot.

Ummm my xbox 360 works but i wouldnt buy another one if the first one i got worked.. why would you need 2?. Really really really think hard about this guys claims. Do you understand what he is claiming?. And then he says well.... you might not time travel or have a oobe but hey guess what you dont get your money back either. I dont know why i even posted a comment here. Everyone who believes this junk i feel very very sorry for you. If your simple enough to buy one of these then hey maybe you deserve to be riped off

Last time THAT is pure inspiration!!
Now I have to save up EXTRA over and above the cost of the HDR machine.

I am thinking more in the lines of a T-bird, Mustang or the Camaro over a tempest but whatever floats your boat.
Now really though......I bet the money you take with you back in time HAS to be of the time period EXACTLY or older.

The best place I can come up with to stash said cars would be a cave somewhere DEEP in the desert for them to remain un found the many years they need to stay stashed.......how the frick will I find such a cave AND how will I get back out of the wilderness once I stash the car?
hmmmm maybe I could just time flip out of the cave back to 'the now' time.....

Dang this has my mind racing as I am a total car chick

The HDR machine maker talks about it helping you to be able to bi locate. He talked allot about Tesla and says he knows how to use a Tesla coil to make a time machine......

I am thinking your life is pretty much OVER once you start bouncing around in time....I mean seriously THINK about the consequences of this..it would change your perspective so radically that you would always sound like a TOTAL nutcase to whatever people you talked to or spent any time with......I bet to get any true WORTH out of a lifetime you need to be fully present within it, living it with gusto and NOT bouncing around in different dimensions.
My interest still lies in the idea that it can help you to have an OOBE whenever you so choose. I would like to start doing some 'soul fragment retrievals' ......and try and become as fully conscious of all of existence as possible.......(if ya know what I mean)

[edit on 14-1-2008 by theRiverGoddess]

I think the MTV guy said he gave the 1st machine to someone else, hence WHY he ended up getting himself another one. It was NOT because the device failed to work.......

I have two 360's - one never gets connected to xbox live and the other does.

Here is a blog of someone who claims to be using his machine often. He goes into quite a bit of detail and is using it with something called a 'Hieronymus machine'

I'm not gonna read it - but you might want too

Is this the same guy that George Noory was interviewing a few years ago and George cut the interview off when the guy said he wouldn't offer any guarantees or refunds?

I'll never forget that show. They came back from commercial and interview was over

What adult John Titor? To my knowledge, the time traveling adult went back to 2036. The John Titor that was here was only born in 1998 ... that would make the John Titor in this timeline 10 years old.

The rough, simplistic schematics scare me... Kinda like randomly connecting some wires from various electronics to a car battery and wrapping them around your head...

No thanks.

I'm intrested in buy this time machine. How much does it cost, you say its expensive, to me 50 buck would be expensive, I been to Casino ans Strip Clubs I know how it feels to be scam, but I still do it so what heck I get scam again. Let me know thanks.

Just joking. There is always a sucker every day.

This whole Gibbs fiasco just makes me sad. It's clear this man is mentally ill. I mean, really, really mentally ill. Paranoid schizophrenia kind of ill. Of course he sounds convincing, because he does in fact believe what he says.

This is the thing many of you don't seem to understand. There are people out there who are actually sick and by buying into their fantasies, you're just reinforcing their illness. It's sad.

I'm curious as to why people keep calling Steven mentally ill when several people are backing him up with descriptions of their experiences. I haven't seen any link between Steven and these people to increase marketing potential so unless you have something truly to debunk what is happening here, why speak?
Too many eject statements that just don't amount to anything.

After reading the blogs and some other sights etc.. this is very interesting. I don't know if I would try it in the same way I woudn't try this salvia drug you guys are talking about, but I definitely would like to know someone who owned one personally.

How bout we set up a paypal account for the OP and we all send her a dollar each so she can buy it and give a truly curious unbiased review?
I'd give her 5 !

If I was to travel back in time 5 minutes where would I be? I can't possibly be in the same geographical place since my older me is still there switching the machine on....or am I? The world in that 5 minutes has rotated so if I go back in time but remain stationary wrt all other dimensions then I would end up in outer space floating above some other part of the earth. Due to the earth rotating on its axis and around the sun. Of course I would probably be several thousand miles away due to the sun rotating around the galactic centre and also there's the expansion of the universe..... Time and space are linked you must include space as well.

So for time travel to be effective I would need to move through time AND space and to have some kind of targetting system that picks out a specific location to move to. Of course if this is possible then I can use the very same device to travel to anywhere in the universe.

So IF feasible time travel is possible then so is instantaneous transport to anywhere in the universe by time travelling zero time.

So we are then left with two situations if time travel is possible:

1. Location remains constant in which case all time travellers are dead floating around in outer space.
2. Location is not constant in which case inter-galactic instantaneous travel is possible.

See no grandfather paradox or multi universes needed.......

someone may have said it, but there is a contradiction.

1) You will travel to another timeline. (i.e. the book from 197_ whatever is not from 'our timeline'...
2) You will have gaps in your memory as you changed time.

Doesnt fit. Either you are doing number 1, which does not affect #2...
Or you are doing #2, but not #1.

Scam...hes not time traveling.

Peace

As some of you know I currently work in EEG, though I have also had an electronics background. I checked out the attached sites and what he is proposing is nothing new, its been known for quite a long time now that exposing your brain to various frequencies of electromagnetic fields will effect you in very strange ways. Your brain is electrical, which is why we can pick up the firing of neurons with electrodes attached to very sensitive amplifiers, then watch them on EEG, which is nothing more then a set of modified oscilloscopes linked in parallel. By placing electromagnetic inductors at various 10/20 points on a persons head, and causing an inducted voltage of various frequencies, you can cause: fear, panic, pleasure, contentment, presence of God, alien abduction style phenomenon, near death experiences, and out of body experiences as well as other things.

Michael Persinger of the Neuroscience department at Laurentian University, Canada, did some extensive testing with this theory using linked EEG and electromagnetic inductors. His device is commonly known as the “God Helmet”:

God Helmet
The apparatus, placed on the head of an experimental subject, stimulates the brain with magnetic fields. Some subjects reported experiences similar to spiritual experiences.[1] The leading researcher in this area is Michael Persinger. Persinger uses a modified snowmobile helmet or a head-circlet device nicknamed the Octopus that contain solenoids which create a weak but complex magnetic field over the brain's right-hemisphere parietal and temporal lobes. Persinger reports that at least 80 per cent of his participants experience a presence beside them in the room, which they variously say feels like God or someone they knew who had died.

Also known as the Koren Helmet:

God/Koren Helmet
The Koren Helmet has also produced visions of demoniac beings, out-of-body experiences, visions of other realities, and a range of other paranormal experiences. It could have been named after any of them, but journalists prefer more sensational names, and you can't get more sensational than God.

Here is where you can buy a version of the helmet and software called the “8 Coil Shakti”:

8 Coil Shakti
Shakti uses magnetic fields patterned after signals taken from specific brain structures and processes. These are the ones implicated in religious and mystic experiences for the growing new field of neurotheology. They are called 'magnetic signals' due to their complex structures. These are not simple frequencies, which sets Shakti apart from other mind machines.

Persinger also was on numerous TV shows during the 80’s dealing with the UFO phenomenon, and his belief that they were associated with magnetic fields generated at tectonic events and combined with earthlights:

Tectonic Strain Theory
Persinger has also come to public attention due to his 1975 Tectonic Strain Theory (TST) of how geophysical variables may correlate with sightings of unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Persinger argued that strain within the earth's crust near seismic faults produces intense electromagnetic (EM) fields, creating bodies of light that some interpret as glowing UFOs. Alternatively, the EM fields generate hallucinations in the temporal lobe, based on images from popular culture, of alien craft, beings, communications, or creatures.

OOBE and NDE can also be generated in a similar fashion:

Near Death Triggers
Researchers discovered the brain area that is linked to out-of-body experiences. They found that electrical stimulation of angular gyrus in the brain creates experiences similar to those described by near-death experiencers. People resuscitated on the operating table speak of being drawn toward a brilliant light, or looking down on their own bodies while the doctors work feverishly to save their lives. A new study suggests these OBE and NDEs may be influenced by a portion of the brain misfiring under stress.

It appears to me that some “New Agers” got a hold of this information and repackaged it as part of their new “snake oil” field of Raydionics. If you read between the nonsense on this site you will see that the are playing with much of the same type of equipment, minus the control software:

Raydionics
This portable hand-held transmitter/broadcaster is one in a series of devices designed to attune and realign the subtle bodies and meridians, to stimulate higher brain and Third Eye functioning and to normalize functioning of the body, mind and emotions. Physical, mental and emotional problems can be ameliorated by altering the non-physical fields around a person or group of people by high level vibrational upliftment. This can be accomplished by penetrating and realigning the subtle bodies using electromagnetic, sound and light fields which have been devised to sweep upwards the frequencies of the individuals concerned.
….
We become able to transmit and receive the inspirational wave frequencies (Morphic Fields) of archives of the higher dimensions (Akasha) thus nourishing and being nourished by them. The pathways to the higher intelligence of the Causal Plane can open and the mind/spirit becomes capable of locating itself into experiences that are both timeless and perfectly timed (see "Time Shift: The Experience of Dimensional Change" by Janet I. Sussman, pp 33, 90, 44, 75, 90, 117, 143, 193).

Our new HERB Mark III tuner with Crystal Photon Chamber, Witness Well, antenna, accessory light or laser acu-pen, electrodes and 6 controls over variable parameters. Electronic circuit can slowly and repetitively sweep the user's frequency upwards in ranges extending from 2 to 740 Hertz (or other custom ranges of your choice).

I hope this helps some, but either way I would defiantly not spend the money on this gentleman’s “snake oil” as you are basically submitting your brain to an uncontrolled electromagnetic field, the effects of which are not completely understood yet. At best you might have a neat hallucination, at the worst, you might damage brain cells (the memory loss he speaks of) or even cause a seizure.

The scariest thing is the truth. There is no time.

Just your neverending thoughts imploding and exploding upon each other.

This guy I think is onto something. I found that customer's blog disturbingly accurate. I just don't think he should mess with it. It's not dangerous in the end, but unless you wanna turn your experience into the complete opposite of what you thought it was, don't go messing with your consciousness, because it is your only world.

I sit and I wonder, now, if perhaps ignorance IS bliss?

My best bet is that if this thing actually does work, nobody will know about it because everybody who uses it will eventually go insane, and people who don't use it... well there's just no basis in order to rightly explain something to someone who can't see for themselves... but try being completely insane, and describing yourself to everyone.

I definitely would not rule this invention of out the range of possibility.

well said... explained.

i myself was going to suggest that the device most likely scrambles
some people's brains, ergo the disclaimer of the salesman,

it's probably like the combined electromagnetic field(s) from the natural? vortex and machine allow those predisposed to schizophrenic hallucinations to actually believe that they are in an alternate reality
or 'dimension' as the salesman puts it.

persons with high concentrations of magnitite in their brains would be susceptable to thought process distortions from the strong magnetic fields of a few of those devices you presented to us...

whereas, other persons at different times , when either alpha states or delta states are in a stage of dominant brain activity...might get that
'spooky' state of mindful awareness... when operating the device the
RiverGoddess is talking about.

~I think the 'key' to either (a EM field, magnetic field, morphic field)
is the power of belief, or wanting to believe one is being transported to another place/space/dimension/ or time.~

A Hieronymous machine is a very simple radionic machine that anyone can build within 20 mins (I'm talking about the paper version here). The guy I was talking about used his HDR together with a Rad-5 if I'm not mistaken. And as I said. He was able to have OOBE's at will and was able to view the residences of other forumers.

If I fully read his article, I would not assume I could use it to go back in time and get lottery numbers, horse racing results. He gives a very obvious example of a book from our past, but its not from this dimension so we cant identify it or collaberate it as proof. you can NOT go back in time in this dimension it seems. Therefore winning the lottery is not going to happen, therefore he needs to sell this device to profit with it.

He then goes to conterdict himself by saying people use it to go back and stop and car crashes, but have memory loss by doing so. You think if hes going to market something like this, he would have more founded proof. Like bringing back a do-do bird form the past of this dimension.

You dont need to mess with something to time travel/inter-dimensional travel. You should not mess with some machine like that. He's probably just tazzering himself with some home made concucsion
and thinking its working. That is if he is not a con artist. Just check out those dodgy order forms.

From me this device gets

What a joke

LMFAO!
