It seems the more I look into the presidential candidacy, the less the term patriotism holds any water.

Being Patriotic now means : You want US citizens to lose their rights, you also want US soldiers to die, you don't care where or how, you just want to get them killed.
Somehow the self proclaimed "Patriotic" have confused blood money with patriotism.

The US army is a mobile beast, it can be deployed anywhere within 24 hours. Air, land, and sea, information is controlled within seconds.

Genuine christian teaching from the Bible suggests that vengeance belongs to the Lord. We have no cause to be in the Middle East. However Huckabee has severe ethics problems. I suggest he takes another few quick reads of the New Testament. I'd also recommend he rids himself of his CFR advisors. I wonder how well being an NWO lackey sits with his supposed christian philosophy.

Military up against shadows in the civilian community is much harder to deal with. The US military really shines up against another military. There just isn't any comparison. My friend who flies F-15s went up against a F-22 and the F-22 killed 5 F-15s (along with my buddy) before they knew he was there.

A million trained Iranian soldiers with the best equipment and with what ever they could drum up as air support would be going to the slaughter house against the US military.

90% would die not even knowing what killed them. The US would have total control of the skies in hours and then a million Iranian soldiers would be gone shortly there after.

I would not want to see this happpen so I'm not boasting just stating reality.

You need to be reminded about a few things. Iraqs conventional military was finished in the first week of fighting, it took a measly 3 weeks to round up the entire Iraqi military in a CONVENTIONAL WAR! Afghanistan had the taliban overthrown and running for their lives in a matter of days, not weeks. There are certain limitations, or rules of engagement that the US has had to follow. This does limit certain capabilities in itself. Especially when your going up against an enemy that hides behind women and children in crowded markets to escape the US military. They are the ones who have no rules of egagement, yet why cant they kick the US out? Hmmmm Theres somthing more to that, yet the obvious will undoubtedly elude you do to your hatred for the US.

War isn't about fancy weaponry and shiny aircraft carriers, they are just good to display on forum avatars.
War is about heart, values and beliefs which the US doesn't have (in the case of the middle east) and this is why the US cannot win. Soldiers on the ground know that they have been lied to a war, they know they are fighting because they have no choice, they know they are there to use Iraq's wealth and strategic position. China and Russia will never start a war against the US unless provoked. The only warmongers on this planet are the US administration. No matter how well armed you are, in the end you need the power of the local people to win.

Lets keep our opinions as just that...opinions..

And I repeat that in the case of a conventional war against either russia or china, the US can't win. Simply because the US has much more to lose than the Chinese (economically) and the US relies on shipments of oil to keep the army going, these shipments are easy to shut down anywhere on the globe.

You must not understand the concept of a "Conventional War" then.

And in regards to the US military spending much mroe than anybody else, I can only agree. Since everything in the US is two or three times more expensive than military hardware made in Russia or China.

Yes, the dollar is stronger then the Yuan and Ruble. However, when one looks at the cost of living and spending of every individual nation, it adds up to about the same in a per capita terms.

The US isnt spending 20,000 dollars on toilet seats, mind you. The US is at the forefront of every major technological advancement, that is fact. The US also manages to snag the best and brightest from every nation, to migrate to the US because they pay much better, and can assure freedom and a prosperous way of life in the United States. Communism in China, and Russias crumbling democracy cannot do the same. And again, who has the worlds most powerful airforce, navy and most advanced battle network to boot? And one needs not forget that america is further extending its already superior battle network with the FCS (future combat systems) program. Which is already starting to take place even right now as we speak.

Also many of the costs do not appear in China's budget while the US has one big Defense budget so yes it does appear bigger.

What exactly are you trying to imply here? That somehow Russia and chinas defense budgets are comparable to americas? The "unofficial" US defense expenditure last year was estimated to be nearly 600 billion dollars! So there are hidden costs that one needs to take into consideration in regards to every military. But to somehow imply that russia and china are in americas league is beyond preposterous. They are not americas equal in MANY regards.

The US Special Operations Command took over Afghanistan with about 250 troops. A handful of fighters for CAS, SEALS, US Army Special Forces, and AFSOC owned that country in a short time.

What you are saying is fairly true and I am not arguing with you there but it took 4-6 months for SECDEF Rumsfeld to do anything anyway because George W put Tennant in charge of the op and it got Rumsfelds panties in a bunch.

I think some people really ought to limit the rhetoric here on thread. What minister Huckabee stated can only be interpreted as a religious statement. He really has no idea how God will judge and places himself as if somehow being on the Right Hand of God in the fashion of where these Iranians would be going. Again, he may be correct, but it is very irresponsible to say what he did. Even if he meant what he said instead of trying for an emotional response which he seems he got, and then some of the video cut off at the end at the Citizens for Liberty website video that showed, it still could have been said another way.

He could have stated "Are those people in those small boats making out to be Terrorists or just trying to aggravate the situation?" He could have made it positive and sought Iran's help in the sense of his statement by stating something next like "If they do make out like Terrorists then perhaps they will be treated as if they are Terrorists."

He could have made a distinction instead of what I preceive with my own opinion of "How dare they race those small boats up to our U.S. Navy?"

Hey, in this World, if you think that that does not happen anymore like it did during the Cold War, testing out the other side, I would beg to differ on just that opinion alone. In fact there are so many times that War could have possibly taken place according to some Fed Employees that you may pzss your pants!

Now all of a sudden it has to be used to try and belittle a small Country like Iran that belittles its self with what its Leader states. Now the USA wants to belittle its self with people who respond in a similiar manner?

Are these type of Leaders of the Political Parties Hypnotize into responding that way, or is it like mind-programming from the Goa'uld or something else?

Fear of God they just do not seem to have. Who placed any so called human that close to God? Is that a sign or something? I prefer to think that Jesus Christ is the only human I have read about that states that in The Bible.
