very valid point and i tend to agree with you. i have many of my own belief that i wont go into here. but i basically believe in cause and effect if theres an up there has to be a down. do i believe in a pit of fire no. and on each trip i have never seen one.
do i belive in a hellhound maybe but guarding hell probably not. i think that if you ar etortured its more psychological in natural then physical because honestly i can think of far worse torture then being burnt. i work as a cook.

but i do belive in evil and good creatures are demons evil no just misunderstood just as i believe not all angels are good. but if there is a Hell even if its not a traditional one if i am indeed going there i want to know if there is a purpose in the grand scheme of things or just a common fluke

i agree i think there are good demon as well as bad angels. i think that there are Fallen ones that have regret for rebelling and wish to get back to God so they try to do good instead of evil. And opposite for angels.

And that is why I don't believe near death experiences in which those involved describe physical feelings. And past that, I believe the jury is out on NDEs in general, but that's another thread all together. Once again, if the body is dead, how can nerves feel cold.

I understand the idea of God's warmth being far from hell, but I don't think it's meant as a literal physical warmth but more of a feeling of safety, well being and peace.

Demons and angels are all one thing in my opinion. Demons to some, angels to others. As for physical form, I revert to my previous post.

If angels and demons have influence on us, I believe it's more of an influence in our own actions, and not as physical or even necessarily separate spiritual entities.

For example, If a man made a decision to drive home drunk, his own demon convinced him to do so. If he gets into an accident and kills himself, it's certainly the result of his own 'demonic' influence. However, if that man's heart can go to save a young child who needs a transplant, that 'demonic' influence was an angel to the child.

Dig?

Edit to add: One of my favorite books as a child was 'The Screwtape Letters' by C.S. Lewis. The book chronicles the letters written by a lesser demon who sits on the shoulder of a man, to his uncle, a more senior demon. This demon's goal is to convince the man to act selfishly in all of his actions. The senior demon acts as a mentor to help the younger become a better bad influence.

You see the problem with this assumption is that neither You nor anybody else (those with NDE included) realy know what happens after we die . Maybe after leaving (if?) this body at the moment of death we are transported or aquire by some other means another body (soul? , energy beeing?) with a complete nervous system, that works on a completly different level of understanding (if you catch my meaning) ..

So assuming that people cant feel after they die jsut because we think we leave our body here , is in my opinion of course umm a flawed way of thinking untill somebody can prove without a doubt what happens to us after we die ..

No offence , I dont really belive in a stereotipical hell or heaven also but thats not the point

Fallen One: Your name and your avatar tell me that you have a facination with hell for some reason. This, in my opinion, is a symptom of some sould damage that you may have sustained in this life or others. You may have some lingering guilt over things you have done, low self-esteem, etc. These are all things that you can work to repair. There is infinite forgiveness out there of a depth and power that will astound you.

I told my boss and some of my co-workers at the bar of the restaurant I cooked at one night that I had decided to become a good christian so I could go to heaven when I died.

They looked at me as if I were mad and asked what brought this on and I replied that I had realized that if I didn't, I would end up spending eternity with my co-workers.

I then turned around and walked back in the kitchen.

Getting validation is very difficult. Many people here will say you're a nut and need medication, don't take it personally, they don't really care about who you are nor your experience. It's "foreign" to them and is an easy pat answer that makes them feel smart and superior. For those who are willing to listen and consider, they'll probably be a better gauge for ya. Those of similar experience may be able to help validate. Some other checks are this. 1.) Did you see anything that you could not possibly come up with in your own mind and beyond anything that your mind would've drawn on from experience? If the answer is yes, point of validation (not absolute, just one point). 2.) Can someone else say some parts match theirs? Another point. 3.) What does the Bible say about what you experienced? 4.) What does God say about what you experienced. Yes, you can ask Him. Be patient on the answer and be open minded as to how that answer is delivered. All the best, wishing for the truth to find you as you seek it.

Here's the account of an experienced astral projector visiting the hell where a deceased person called Max lived at the time. True or not? I don't know.

www.afterlife-knowledge.com...

From the information I gathered while visiting Max's Hell I know he's not been put There by someone else as punishment. No one had to single him out, judge his life and sentence him to Hell. The system is more automatic than that. He is There because his energetic makeup, the sum total of his beliefs, attracted him to that area of Focus 25 like a magnet to iron. His free will choices of beliefs led him to live his most recent lifetime in our physical world as an emotional sadist. When he entered the Afterlife the energetic makeup of his beliefs pulled him into his own Hell with its matching energetic environment.

I'm not discounting anyone's experiences here, even I've had one or two unexplainable 'odd' things happen, but personally I don't believe in either hell or heaven.

Why would a God make sentient beings capable of having mental illnesses (which a vast majority of murderers have, for instance) only to send them to hell when it manifests?

I still believe in a creator of sorts, although I'm not religious at all, but I don't think he'd waste time devising such a diabolical scheme for his creations.

Here's a link where one priest said he was 23 minutes in hell, though i don't know that is he lying or telling the truth, but anyways, what he says about hell, and IF it is true, it is a scary place where i never wanna end up.

spiritlessons.com...

In that site, scroll a lil lower, where is that 23 Minutes in Hell text in red letter,
under that starts he's story.

nevertheless, it's interesting story

Sorry, i didn't see some of the post above, my net connection is slow sometimes :/ I remove the link and some of my post if needed. Sorry

I don't believe He would. As stated Biblically, God knows your heart. On that He sees and judges. This is why mankind cannot make a right judgement necessarily, we never know what's in someone else's heart. We can look at our own if we take the time to be introspective, but others cannot see ours.

First, Your avatar and picture would lead one to assume that Hell and those beings associated are of great interest to you- is it because of the dreams or could the dreams come from your attraction to the subject matter?

It could be that something in your life causes you to believe you belong in Hell. If the idea scares you you should consider what shape your soul is in. I can only assume you have beliefs closely related to Christianity or you are a Christian because you speak as though Hell is very real to you. If this is the case you should talk to someone who would take this seriously in a Christian context.

I really don't think that people can astrally project to a place like Hell because only permanently displaced souls would be granted access there. If you believe in God and Satan and Heaven and Hell, then you would not expect to go peek in such a place without being chosen to be in that place.

I understand a dark attraction because I have always been very attracted towards things associated with death- the grim reaper, ravens, crows, any Greek or Egyption God/Godess associated with the underworld- Hades/Persephone etc. I am not a gloomy person at all- I just fancy myself the queen of the Underworld. I dont believe in Hell. I do believe there is someplace for the soul to go between reincarnations and I could get a job there.

First off id like to thank everybody that is actually trying to help wether they believe me or not. Second my name and my avatar are just that a name and a picture nothing more. i am fascinated by all aspects of reality not just the dark. i will be honest and say i lean more towards the darkness, but that doesnt make it negative.

I do not want to go to hell, i dont even believe in the devil. But, at the same time i wouldn't want to go to heaven either. I'd be happier spending eternity on earth. It's not even for me that i came on to this site it is for my daughters. if there is a reason that i truly am going there, i want to make sure that nothing has a consequence for them.

Again thank you to everyone. and keep them coming it's been a big help.
