He says that a planet is 100 light years from earth. Thats whats got me questioning him. That and his imaginary friends.

I agree with those who say he truly believes he is telling the truth.

Some people are very good liars, but they always make a mistake, inevitably leading to a large consensus of people spotting the give away traits. I don't think he shows any signs like these at all.

The documentation cannot be argued, and should definitely be considered seperate to his "story" as they are two entirely different things, even if somehow related.

I made it point NOT to look into Sgt. Stone on the web. I was chosen to review documents that he provided, and I wanted to not have anything taint my perceptions. I have even delayed the ATS interviews that relate, for the same reason.

These are documents that are from the US government. They do speak volumes, both in what they tell and what they do not, about a wide range of what our "hidden" operations are in regard to UFOs and a few other things.

But on the subject of people in Sgt. Stones position vis a vis experience versus believability. Sometimes, if a person has an extreme series of events, a certain detachment happens in the way they view these events. It becomes a story they tell themselves. Their mind cannot completely accept the totality of all the concepts involved, so they are detached from the personal connection of the story, almost like it was third person.

I know that certain events in my own past are more a story to me than something I relate to. This can almost make it seem as if a person is fabricating, when in fact they are trying to maintain a certain self preserving distance from things that are too emotionally charged to bare well.

Often what results is that the honesty of the person is evident to people speaking to them, yet the answers they give seem "rehearsed". And they are rehearsed; because this person has turned the event over and over inside their own skull a million times, it has become a story they tell, even to themselves.

And just as a garment becomes worn through with repeated use, the story starts to seem a bit shabby in places. Some events lose their contextual place in the overall scheme, some items lose their luster and border on the mundane. This is what happens to the tales of many people who are everyday Joes caught up in events that are one of a kind.

I do know that whatever Sgt Stone has been through, it was of sufficient power to cause him to expend an extraordinary amount of time and effort in trying to find answers. From the sheer volume that I have found, and it is by no means all of the material, he has devoted a large part of his life to this.

And yet, it doesn't appear that monetary gain has been a motive. Whatever profit he might make this late in life will be little compared to what he has invested. Whatever has drove this man for all these years, it is not money.

If it is delusion, then it has been a most focused delusion, and a long lasting one. Few things that humans do not perceive as the truth can motivate one for such an extended period. If his is indeed madness, then it is a most peculiar madness.

As I said, I am not yet ready to look at the man himself, or what his story may be. I speak only of the shadow that it casts on the work that I am now involved in. Take this for whatever value it has to you in your considerations.

Look at it this way, Mr. Stone Has alot of info that he truely would like to share. But maybe some of the info he has is so far out there that the majority of the people right now couldn't handle knowing. So he gives us small bits that he hopes most people can handle to point them in the right direction to start asking the right questions,(ie. showing you the door) Then each person searching for the Info has to choose if they are ready to continue or let what they have learned sink in for a bit.

There are still alot of people that will swear up and down that UFO's EBE's don't exist and until they are face to face with one they won't admit that they could exist. But whats going to happen when those people do realise we are not alone in space? they are more than likely going to go completely off the reservation. Now if you were Mr. Stone would you want to be the cause of someone throwing away there beliefs that say they don't exist???

And i agree with you that the slap on the wrist was more than "don't let this happen again" as Mr. Stone said it was. he was probably never left alone with another EBE again.

And the retailiation i was speaking of would be the exicution of all EBE's currently on Earth and any furture EBE's that came to earth. I don't think we have any weapons that can cover 100 light years in less than that time so it would be pointless to launch an attack against their home world.

Hope that clears up my thoughts it ws late lastnight when i replied to this thread

I got about half way through this vid and I got bored. The OP has asked if he seems unbelievable, what good are his documents?

I really don't believe anything I see online or on TV and have a hard time listening to anyone tell me a story with no evidence. With that said I checked out some of the FOIA documents, and found this thread to be interesting.
www.abovetopsecret.com...

I am not here to change anyone's mind or influence what to think of him or these documents, i'm giving you my own assessment based on the linked video that I couldn't force myself to finish, and one FOIA document that has some serious flaws. I checked out other documents, but they had nothing of importance or I couldn't read them. I know that this may influence what you think, but i'm not here to control your reality, you will make that decision on your own. I will be going back into the FOIA forum and see if anything interesting has surfaced since my last visit there.

I can say that there are lots of genuine looking gov't documents in the FOIA forum, and some of them have been linked to real gov't sites that show the same documentation. Stuff like that makes me really happy since it can be verified. But...

If I don't read them directly from a gov't site I can't trust them 100%. My way of thinking eliminates some of these documents instantly, so you can imagine how hard my life is trying to search for the truth using gov't websites and nothing else. I have a very high standard that many would think isn't the way to go, but when i find something interesting my standard eliminates any chance of it being false, unless that is what the gov't wants.

I look forward to the documents that ATS is going to release to the mainstream media. I don't know how ground breaking they will be, and I don't know if they will be missing small items that can make or break a story or document, but it should be interesting. I would be really happy if they were available online at a gov't website, so I got my fingers crossed.

Yeah, the FOIA documents they have online are pretty good, not all of them interest me though, only the ones to do with UFO's and ET's are of interest and i guess there is a few of them.

As for the documents ATS are going to the mainstream media with, i'm really quite eager to see what they got because it has to be pretty groundbreaking if they are going straight to the media with it, and getting the to sign a non-disclosure agreement as well. At the same time i'm trying not to take in the hype and get excited about it yet, i have been let down in the past by getting a little over excited about things.

Patience.

... yes!
But I'd probably wait to get more proof of my story. Perhaps that's what his doing. I understand your view though, I guess not everybdy would disclose information the way I'd do.

It did clear up, thanks!

I assure you the documents are genuine, right down to the original envelope with the DC postmark and original cover letters on agency stationery and the letters from two U.S. Senators who helped Clifford get the documents.

Hi Springer,

I've checked the search function and Archive and haven't come up with any of the documents or data. Could you provide a link? Thanks!

Hi Late,

Many thanks for the link, really!

I am about 85% through the material and wondering about it. I haven't found anything that I haven't read somewhere else yet. So I'm wondering why the drumroll on this material. Guess I'm still on pins and needles!

Clifford certainly looks like an honest man, also his story is quite believable ( at least, that is what I think )

This is an interesting thread to bump. The video from the OP didn't work for me either. Any update on ATS going a serious news program with Clifford Stone documents?

Nothing bugs me more than people who proudly boast about their BS meter.
I have some news for them, there is no such thing. They may as well refer to themselves as passionate sceptics which is a euphemism for a debunker.
They're like fundamentalist religious types who accept nothing that doesn't fit their narrow experience.
An open minded sceptic is what we should aspire to be, and as one who has done a ton of research, (unlike most debunkers) I believe this guy.
On top of his vast amounts of corroborated evidence and # loads of government documents Sgt Stone's demeanour indicates that he's being honest. If he's lying he would have been working in Hollywood for the last 40 years not in the US Army chasing UFOs around the planet, no one can shed tears so honestly and on queue. The man really cares about these ETs that have been either killed or captured, you cannot fake that!

Rather than create a new thread, I thought it would be better just to post in an existing one. I'd like to know what experiences has Clifford Stone had with E.Ts which he's publicised? I only know of one incident in which he helped to free an alien that was held captive (as a 'guest') as his cohorts were coming for him and the extraction method would've killed many servicemen.

He mentioned that he was briefed not all encounters with them would be friendly. Any examples?

Yeah I did consider buying his book but a few comments mention that it's a bit disjointed and doesn't offer any new information/insight: Amazon.

Does the book expand on his contact with E.Ts? Does it detail any experiences or conversations with them?
