Exactly Kano, it could have been just that or something else, there's a 100 possibilities and I wish I knew the right one.

The phone number that was dialed at the end of the first phone call is 1-888-472-4052. That is a toll free number and can be dialed from anywhere in the US for free. The number is unlisted. My thanks again to Kano, who was able to decypher the number.

I have called the number and have no clue what to make of it. You get a series of beeps and tones, however it is unlike a fax noise or computer modem or anything.

Try calling it from a fax or modem or something?

i am not saying that i dont believe you... but dont you guys think that the black suvs are a bit unoriginal? i mean i know the gov is pretty slow but dont you think they would figure out we know the whole black vehicle thing and use somthing less suspecting like a pink bug or somthing like that? i mean even the police have figured that out with there unmarked cars... i am just wondering cuz i see peeps in my neighborhood parked in strange places far a long time in normal looking cars and i think a normal person not as paranoid as me wouldnt think twice but they leave after i ride my bike past them about 3 times lol... just wondering...

I will definitely give that a try Kano, although as I said, it does not sound like either of those things, as I have dialed fax numbers before by accidents, and also have heard the modem connect noises when I log on with the computer.

Like I said before, the SUV I saw could have been nothing, which it probably was, but you always have to keep that other possibility open...

Yes it did Zion, I probably scared whoever it was though, it was a little after midnight and it's kinda unusual to see someone running towards your truck at that time of night
I have seen nothing suspicious ever since...

if you see a suspicious vehicle again, try ordering them pizza or chinese food and stick a banana in the exhaust pipe.

Well so far I haven't seen anything more suspicious lately, I'm going to get film for my camera tomorrow, so I'm hoping something suspicious will occur tomorrow night...

U-P, I tried to fax the number, and the machine recorded an error, invalid device or something like that.

It's normal. It should have a special dsp. That's why you have to use a modem.
If it's not working, try to change your modem init strings. But don't do it from your home. Use a payphone.
