A really strange phone call

...from Denmark, got clicking sound right away then something I'd define as a "busy" tone. When I hooked up the phone it said it was an invalid number.

I know this is an old thread, yet interesting

I'm still wondering myself and called
two beeps two beeps 1 beep and a long beep then silence click
then finally busy tone

Although I do believe WOS may have stumbled onto something he wasn't supposed to, I find it hard to fathom that if 'said' number belonged to some type of mysterious or covert gov' group, they would of allowed it to be publicized.

If they (GG) were actually monitoring or gathering info on William, they would have known he is very adamant about conspiracy theories as well as thorough in his conclusions, not to mention part of one of ( if not the biggest ) conspiracy boards on the net. I just can't see them being that careless or reckless, and if they were, then more carelessness regarding this and other matters would have become evident.

WOS, I admire you for being able to continue on with your health issues and still find time to dazzle us with the possibilities.

Although your outcome may not look the greatest, anything can happen.

And with all your perseverance and insight on the boards, I think you can make anything happen.

Are you on a proxy? Your 4,5,6, even 7 should be hopping over regional backbones but nasa on 5? That's is very short.

A kid has been ip spoofing. But as we know government I.T. departments are very lame as well to say the least.

This is very odd.

I can only explain it as a deticated switch or an ip spoof.
If it was ip spoof then I say a kid, but if it was a switch then the company is involved.

Wow this thread is 5 years old, why was MM banned, or is that question usually shunned around here?

i think its interesting that in my above post i have highlighted what appears to be a deception on MMs' part, and no one has anything to say about it.

I have caller Id and its not the first time that i get 1-111-111-1111 on my caller Id some times im home and some times i answer the call just to get no sound coming out of my phone and if i hang up and try to use the phone right after, i get no dial tone, I have asked my phone company verizon tech and he can not explain it he does not know.

As you may not be aware, ATS has a policy that we almost never discuss why members got banned. As MM was banned years ago, I will say he was banned for some mischievious behavior as well as some other things I don't feel comfortable repeating. But I can assure you that he was not banned as a result of anything to do with this thread. Good eye on your part to pick up the discrepancy. As the photo's of the alleged SUV's never surfaced, we can only speculate, as MM is not here to defend his statements.

I am aware. But ive noticed sometimes that when a well known poster, such as MM, is banned sometimes it is discussed. Especially since this is an important thread and i was thinking that the discrepancy was part of the reason for his banning.

i just got a call from 777-666-7666. something about aliens and being able to dial phone numbers from my computer.and it said push 3 if you dont want to reveive this call again. it was a masked voice. hard to understand so thats all i could get out of it. and it was a unknown name on my caller id. any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

WOS, yes, it is an option to reprogram someone's phone via the phone lines. It's called, and I'm not being nasty here, "Phreaking your phone" in that someone hacked into your phone line. It could be a teenager with a lot of time on their hands testing out their new found toys, or it could be a lot worse.

There's the "red box", "white box", "black box", and a few others.

Those are the "phreaking boxes" names, not necessarily their colors.

I've picked up the home phone before, and began dialing, but there was a lady talking, and I politely asked who she was and what she wanted. She began freaking out, said she was almost done with My phone. This is when I began getting mad. I asked her repeatedly who she was, and demanded she tell Me. Finally the connection was lost wherever she was tapped in.

I have since shut off the home phone, there's no reason for paying out $50 a month on a home phone when I'm so rarely here, since I've got a cell phone.

Oh, by the way, anyone reading this, if you're on a cell phone, and there's an echo in the background, your cell phone is being tapped by someone. It's a by-product of shoddy workmanship as well as a side-effect.

I talk about the things I talk about here on ATS over the phone, but then again I've known all of My life that phones are tapped, that Ma Bell and telecommunications are in bed with the Government, and I've known all of My life about Echelon.
