Ok, so for arguments sake, lets take the leap of assuming that planet x (nibiru) is in fact a real planet thats in an eliptical 3600 year orbit around our sun. Lets also take into account that most agree that its mass would not generate enough gravity to adversly affect our tiny little clump of dirt and water. That being said, I have a conundrum..................whats at the other apex? Our sun is clearly the supposed apex on one end of the eliptical cycle, so whats on the other end? I cant imagine a planet even as large as our own Jupiter, (which by most accounts if it were any larger would erupt into a star on its own) that would be slung away from our star, who knows how far away (1800 years out) and have enough mass to be pulled on significantly enough to cause it to return, yet NOT have enough mass to "significantly" disturb our planet. Granted, lots of leaps of faith on this one, but just suppose..............

The next polar shift is on the way but don't be alarmed.
When the shift happens, we will headed for another one.

Hey peoples! I don't often reply to the posts just read them, but this one bears intrest. As far as I have read there was a supernova ( aptly named ) the Vela-X supernova. It was said to be visible from Earth around 6,000 BCE, from what I can remember. That could be the nova someone was trying to find earlier in the thread to move"X"/Niburu off it's normal orbit. This would most probably effect us greatly. If it is a Brown Dwarf then why does it have a name and be called a planet by the most ancient of tribes, Dogon and Aborigini ( sorry can't spell it ). These tribes have known things we seem to look over in the quest for cash instead of greatness. The tenthe planet is more than maybe out there on it's way. If probability has a part I go with the tribes that new of the exact mathematical relations of a 3 star system we only thought had 2 stars till 1997. Ya I mean the Sirius system.

So in short! Ya I totally believe this "X" / Niburu comes around every 6-7 thousand years causing pole shifts by disrupting gravity in ou solar system. I think it goes along with the Myan's 25,000 something year cycle. Just goes to show if it's true than we got a planet showing up shortly and North turning South soon.

A cycle of the Mayan Calendar ends in 2012. That is "historical fact". Lots of other cycles have been and gone since the fall of Mayan civilization.

Suggesting the world will end thereafter is like suggesting the world will end on 1 January 2009 because that's the first date that does not appear anywhere in my current diary.

There are many, many mentions to dates after 2012 in Mayan inscriptions. The connection between the end of the world and Mayan writings is a fabricated one by Jose Arguelles that has been debunked - as has the author. It's simply inaccurate twaddle.

As for the Planet X theory - it's just that - a theory, a possible explanation for a phenomenon that hitherto is unexplained. There is no reason whatever to pronounce it as fact. And absolutely no reason at all to link it to a specific date.

I think what's going on with people and the whole 2012/Nibiru/Planet X/Armageddon thing is that the world is growing SO rotten that this type of thing gives them hope for a better future. I don't begrudge anyone hope.

I've read some theories that humans already inhabit planet X. Because of its orbit, it passes Earth only once every few thousand years. Odd how its coming appearance is at the end of the Mayan calendar.

I've read that when Planet X comes close to Earth, our "brothers" will come and take us home. Is this possibly what has happened to past civilizations that vanished without a trace? The Mayans? The Egyptians? The Atlantians?

Guess we'll find out soon.

I understand that, and I actually think it's exactly why people believe this nonsense. But I think it is mistaken partly because it's based on absolutely notihng, and partly because it suggests to me that people would rather protest impotence in the face of all the "rotten" stuff - rather than accept that it's possible they could make some effort to do something about it. It smakcs of avoiding responsibility, to me.

So I'm troubled by the certainty with which you predict it. Based on nothing at all.

The ideal of this planet x is intriguing. I have found a web site that
challenges Mr. S's theory: however, I choose to continue to ponder on this
ideal. There are myths from some of the ancients of north America that
tell of past polar shifts of this planet, yet myths and facts are some times

From 2024BC till 2012AD = 4035 years. (Year 0 does not count)

There is another theory on Global Warming. This theory is based on the fact that we are entering the Photon Belt.

Another risk is that Niburu comes at the same time as the Mayan Quetzalcoatl and the Chinese "Red Dragon".

Ahh....I didn't predict anything. I simply said I read about it. I have too many books to know which one it came from, and no....I don't have any links to point you to. Like I said, I read it in a book.

I never (nor anyone else) have said that the Mayans foresaw the end of the world. However, it's possible that knowledge was given to them about the return of the GODS. The GODS being aliens.

Look, anything is possible. Just because we don't understand it yet, or because it doesn't fit into your little perception of reality doesn't mean it's not possible.

Go back in time before electricity, and cars, and microscopes, and radio waves, and computers and try to make people believe that those things will one day be a reality. They'd probably think that you were crazy.
