Time is the main problem for me too.

Say how about mod rotation, meaning some guy is the mod for a month and then you are and it keeps changing, so everyone with good ideas can implement them rather than arguing like this.

No, if you think this is a cheap method for me to become a mod, no, I don't want to become a mod.

Uh, being a mod generally isn't just a matter of having your status changed then you are fine, every new mod (and even old ones) has to be trained up and monitored to make sure we are all working hard to keep a level of consistency and equality throughout the staff. New mods all the time would be a pain in the arse for the rest of us

So short answer is, no.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Jeffrey.

I'm operating undercover.

I've never asked to be a Mod. Once I asked for a job description but haven't seen one yet.

There are a range of talents in the existing pool of Mods, the world isn't perfect. So... I doubt we'll see an election, but it will be good to see a meritocracy.

Don't waste your time. Gimme a .50 machine gun ( or a flamethrower
) and I'll " teach " them who's who on ATS.
