Thanks for the update Crakeur, well the fact that the media aren't jumping right on this, that doesn't sound very good....

Glad to hear it's still in the works. Even if MSM passes, if there is a real "smoking gun" trail in these documents a well organized grassroots movement could go a long way.

I'd even wonder if there was a way to privately create a 30 min. docu expose on the subject and buy airtime to show it? Maybe I'm being naive - but if carefully presented in a factual and non-sensationalistic manner information like this would make quite an impression.

did they give any reasons as to why they were passing crakeur?,you obviously have the ability to see through phony reasons if they were just afraid of upsetting the big boys, but im interested none the less.

also whats with your name?,i dont get it!?

hopefully the documents will see the light of day in the near future in whatever shape or form!.could you not produce a documentary yourselves perhaps with funding from the ats community?,the docu would be available for all the world to see and raise the profile of ATS significantly!

edit-maudeeb-it seems were on the same wavelength ;-0

Hey Crakeur! Good to finally hear something about this.

When you say two 'shows' passed on the information, do you mean television programs that are on air just now, news programs, or are you guys planning to do some sort of 'film' about this information?

Likely MSM responses:

"Not in our budget at this time."

"Our schedule is already fully booked. After all, it is an election year."

"Just not a "good fit" with our audience."

And the real heart-breaker:

"Our news/fact checking department, in the interest of verifiability (You know how many Hoaxes these types of topics generate!), was not able to acquire copies of several of the refernced documents.

Since we cannot idependently verify the authenticity of what we feel to be certain documents, key to your assertion(s), we must regretably decline any further participation in this matter."

Bear in mind that the current Administration has been extremely active in the pursuit of classifying as much information as it can lay its hands on. Many documents that where once freely available, are now classified "In the Interest of National Security", and have been removed from even FOIA access.

Bon Chance, Mes Amis!

For a start easy now, it probably won't be one document. I'm sure one of the ATS team actually posted that there are in fact several documents, and you have to thread together the evidence to get the full picture. They also said if the MSM didn't take them up then their findings would be posted here one ATS in a second.

Now if you hoping for 'one' document, or expect direct evidence of extra terrestrials then i think you will be dissapointed, if anything it will prove the trouble the US government go into to cover up something like this, and i think it will be interesting.

Hopefully we will hear something soon.

i never said there was only one document...and i dont appreciate someone putting words in my mouth.

ok...how many ATS seconds make up a second ?

i think you will be dissapointed,

its not just me that will be dissapointed.....fyi

seems you dont understand the English language

the word " any " is an adjective and when used in conjunction with the word " document " it implies that there are one or more.

one or more —used to indicate an undetermined number or amount

www.merriam-webster.com...
any - Definition from the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary

so once again dont put words in my mouth.

back to topic....anyone got an update on any document in question ?

from Crakeur...Every media outlet we contacted signed the NDA and so far two shows have passed and two have requested more time (we gave them all deadlines). We should know this week if one or both of the other shows wants to do something.

if all of the msm outlets turn it down...i wonder how ATS is gonna present it ?

Is there any reason you can't share which shows turned it down at least, and perhaps which wanted more time?

If the ones you are trying now all fall through, perhaps you would consider passing it on to The History Channel show UFO Hunters, I am sure they would run it. Bill Burns would gladly put it in UFO Mag and in the show.

I would also bet that James Fox (Out of the Blue) would be able to get it on Larry King and in his DVD.

And what about just normal MSM outlets like Fox News and CNN? If the info is that good, why wouldn't everyone run with it?

Thanks for spelling out how stupid i am, i really appreciate that.

Anyways, whats with all the Naysayers on this topic, any news is interesting news, i don't think we will be dissapointed at all.

News programs are who we've been meeting with in NYC.

"60 Minutes" and "48 Hours" both passed, the former because they are the biggest and they would need a piece of an alien space craft being presented by Quezark of Zeta Reticuli the latter because they just couldn't figure out how to fill a complete hour, visually, with this story.

I understand "48 Hours" predicament, it would be difficult to do a solid hour and make it visually interesting enough for prime time television.

The other two shows who we are waiting to hear from both asked for another extension last week, I don't know if that's good or bad but I have to think if they were going to pass they would have by now.

We know we can get on the cable shows, we want broadcast because the vastly larger audience. Soon as we know something we'll update this thread.

Might I ask what was the reaction otherwise to the info from the 2 who passed? Excited, or just hrmm?

Can you say who asked for the extension?

You do know that cable news beats broadcast news these days, right? The O'Reilly Factor is the #1 show on Cable TV... Maybe cable is the key word there though.

So, based on the above, are we to conclude that the FOIA documentation the Team reviewed, does indeed relate to the issue of our government having undeniable knowledge of the existence of extra-terrestrials and/or their (space)craft?

Sorry, interrogation is part of my "regular" job; habits die hard.

I'm sure that, given the circumstances surrounding the source and nature of this thread, most of us have already assumed that the revelation planned concerned something to do with ET's/UFO's (as opposed to, say, a previously undisclosed, perhaps dangerous, government space program).

But, I believe this would be the first confirmation, from a team member that we were indeed "barking up the right tree".

Thanks for the update Springer!

Do you think (if the MSM take you up on your story) we over here in the UK will hear about it in our media outlets also (reuters seem to be the primary source for most of our news!)?

Yes you are barking up the right tree.

Smug- I have no idea, I would think so, but one never knows until it's done (or not done).

i just wanted to apologize to you if i came across as being harsh. i admit you were partially correct and i should have been more clear in what i wrote.

thats one of things i like about ATS is you darn sure have to dot your i's and cross your t's correctly or someone will notice.

glad we got an update on this and as skeptical as i am about it i still am looking forward to the info.

No worries easynow! no point in bickering with trivial things

What do you think the documents contain, any theories?

Either way i guess, according to Springer at least, this is direct evidence supporting a cover up, most likely to do with the UFO phenomenon. I think most of us that post on ATS know that there is a cover up, this thread has sparked some interest inside me though. Is there anyway, if the documents are as 'smoking gun' as some might think, that the governent might just say

'hey, that's it guys, you got us, here's what we know so far'

or is it carefully placed disinformation? one answer to a conspiracy seems to just open up more cans of worms doesn't it, more questions to be asked.

well i believe it would be all speculation to comment on this since i dont really know what they have, so i will have to wait like everyone else.

if the documents came from Clifford Stone, i am sure its gonna be very interesting. it just seems that if it was that incriminating then he would have made it available to the Discloser Project..... but what do i know..'
