I got a Question... Alright everytime a black do something wrong why is he a thug. But when a White do something wrong he isnt called a Thug???

If that was the UK, the homeowner would be up for murder whilst the burglar would be compensated for injury/death. So bass -ackwards!

I'm all for the homeowner kicking ass!! My argument is: if you didn't break into my home at 2AM you wouldn't have been in the way of my baseball bat!

Certainly an individuals actions only speak for that individual alone. However, in this day and age you can hardly blame the anti-black sentiment in America. The majority of violent crimes (rape and murder) are committed by black people even though they are a minority group. Ill assume you left out the Media instead of the assumed we, as in the general public.

on that assumption my response is the media continues to feed the violent news cycle by implanting a bias in the subconscious. They do so by feeding racial credence into a none racially motivated action. by doing so they ensure the incitement of a racial response which gives them a news story for the next day (i.e. black rights groups protests white homeowner shooting two blacks who were breaking into his home... next days headlines White Supremacist groups support white homeowners 2nd amendment rights....)

Its all about keeping your eyes glued to the tube... and distracted from the real world right outside your bedroom window.

just so you know... I don't care if your black, white, Chinese, Taiwanese, Pikanese, Lebanese, bendy knees, etc... if you rob me... or hit me for no reason, or break into my home... your a thug to me...

So you have a problem with the actions of these 3 black men (and similar stories which are heard just about everyday in the news) speaking for the black community. But you don't have a problem with some black dude who makes a movie about his opinion, speaking for the black community?



Actions speak louder than words. And if the actions of the black community have spoken, they have said "we don't have any respect for our lives or property, or the livers or property of others."

(just my humble opinion)

Well I can't say I have any problem with what the homeowner did.
Everyone has the right to self-defense.
Don't break into peoples homes and you won't get shot.

Charging the surviving idiot with homicide is idiotic though.

I hate these "stretch" prosecutions - they're usually some ambitious DA looking to score brownie points for a reelection campaign.

Charge people with the crimes they have actually commited - metaphorically ("well it was almost like homicide") DOES NOT COUNT!

This guy committed a burglary, so charge him with BURGLARY.
He didn't KILL anyone, or try to, so charging him with homicide is absurd.

As far as the charges of racial bias goes, who knows.
The cynic in me suggests that if this guy was white, the prosecutor wouldn't be willing to go out so far on a limb...

But he knows the statistics as well as anyone, and knows he's likely to have more success prosecuting a black guy than a white one.

Why would they not be called a thug? I call them all low life criminals, but I think the term “thug” is used to describe a younger gang type criminal and most white gang members have many more names that are used such as Nazi, head banger etc. Thug is much more non-ethnic term, but the majority of gang members are ethnic in origin.

If I am going to label somebody like that, I am going to do it based on their actions and not their skin color. Thugs are thugs, regardless of whether they are white, black, whatever.

White, black, Mexican, Chinese, Russian, Indonesian..doesn't matter. Anyone coming in to your home posses the same threat. The third guy should get attempted murder charges for the child that now has brain damage.

I wonder what the black community feels about that? It's ok to break in to someone else's home and give their kid brain damage, but it's so wrong for those involved to get charged with their crimes.

I know you think the charge is bogus. But the law allows for this charge....and it happens all the time. We just dont hear about it all the time.

So, it is not like they are handing out the charge just because of this or that. They are handing it out because 2 deaths occured as the result of them comitting a crime. It is a just charge.

All I'm saying is, no one condones or protects crimes of white people, nor should they, so why do people condone and/or protect black people?

I never said these three represent all blacks. I think that'd be a stupid thing to say. But regardless of the skin color, it is against the law. It doesn't matter if it was a white, black, hispanic, asian, anyone could go in to a house attempting to steal stuff and beat a kid to the point of near death, and it is STILL illegal.

No matter what the skin color, this kind of stuff should not be defended.
