Those mental engrams are not just confined to race or dna ( i.e war is about freedom, we have plenty of oil, debt is wealth, and global warming is a myth.)

Stupidity isn't limited to race or sex...it's a class issue and the dumber you are the more likely you are to believe in garbage, be a subservient wage slave, elect fools to rule over you, and not think for yourself, whereas humanity has yet to figure out they can do just fine without leaders telling them what to do, letting others feed on them like parasites, and/or make them parrot insane dogmas.

I would say the lack of empowering education is mankind's worst problem and you can't gene splice the wisdom of experience either. Institutions train people to be sheep and follow the leader. So is there a gene to make people think for themselves, not destroy what they build, and learn to share power and responsibility? Who is going to empower the slaves, if you are already a ruler of fools?

Meanwhile it's still; your are dumb cannon fodder, always pay taxes, kill for our entertainment, god is money, and honor your corporate elite. There isn't much diversity in leadership, when you consider a few rule over billions who let them.

I have rather 'thought' for quite a long time that the different races on Earth are IN FACT different offshoots from different races in the universe. Hence WHY we are being visited by different races of Aliens.
This explains WHY we see different crafts in the sky......and different beings that act in different ways to us......

It seems that everyone has missed a major point in the initial article. We have 98% of our genetics in common. A good part of the remaining tiny 2% has to do with eye color, skin pigmentation, etc.

I can understand that those with preconceived ideas that don't have any other proof will grab on to anything they can to justify their beliefs.

As far as IQ goes, there are a huge number of factors that make testing unreliable outside a uniform group (and even within the group). The closer the social and educational background of the testees to those who constructed the test, the higher the scores. The higher the per student/budget in the school system of the testees the higher their scores. The better nutrition the mothers had during pregnancy and the children received during the first years of their lives, the higher their scores. The more social and academic exposure is available in the home for the children, the higher their scores will be.

Since U.S. (and most other societies) have discriminated against those with deeper skin pigmentation few of their families have had any of the above advantages. I think it's a mark of distinction that so many deeply pigmented people have scored high on IQ tests. It's certainly irrational for anyone to claim that lower IQ tests are related to the genetics of skin color.

You completely miss my point, I'm an referring to no proof that intelligence has nothing to do with race, and that people from any race has the ability to learn,

keyword : ABILITY

We are all capable, that any particlar individual don't takes advantage of it that's significantly different as to say that the entire race is just less intelligent.

I can give you many reasons as to why African Americans
underperform in school when they are measured against their white counterpart, many studies have been done about it.

The intelligence thing is more a factor of location. If you live in an area that thrives educationally compared to urban cities where many minorities reside with poor schools, of course there will be lack of intelligence.

Why argue about who is more intelligent? Its a fact that a majority of the world population is lacking (intellectually), and as long as I know I'm not in that majority, I could care less what the results of these studies are.

Only thing anyone should take serious in these studies is the parts about diseases and health. But I don't have to worry about either because I have great genes. I have plenty centenarians in my family. No life-threatening diseases flowing through my family gene pool. I'm the next in line.

We don't even know how DNA works, we just use it do mach things to see if 2 parts are identical, no real knolege beiond that.

The article does not bring up race, it only states that people are diferent, as one white felow diferent from another white felow and that none of us are the same, or it could be black, yellow ..and so on, meaning we are all as individual persons diferent.

intelligence is only one of the many traits that i believe can be affected through genetics. being that you are stuck on the subject of intelligence, even though the content of this topic covers much more than that, i will offer you my take.

first... intelligence... it's not necessarily the knowledge already obtained, although that can be one definition. what we're talking about is the ability to learn and understand something. the ability to learn is done through the desire to learn, memory, and understanding of what you've already learned.

why is it not supposed to be possible for different races to have different genetic mutations that allow them to learn at different rates? why is it not supposed to be possible for different races to be pre-disposed with a desire to learn?

fact is, blacks across the world on average have consistently had lower test scores. the fact is, they either lack the ability to learn, or the desire to learn what we are teaching them.

The US is the only place that I have being so far that ygis kind of stuff is put out. Everywhere I have been specially in Latin America and the Caribbean, intelligence and education go hand in hand and no intelligence and race.

In Puerto Rico for example we have whites, blacks and natives, and you can find as many educated and smart people accross the board. I have seen the same trend in other Caribbean and Latin America. Usually uneducated people come from either rural or poor areas where people are basically trying to survive or are just not leaving the lifestyle that we are used to see.

The black race has been the most abused race in the history of humanity and all this BS studies that people want to put out there are just intended to desensitize people of just that. Their continent and people have been pillage, rape and destroyed many times over and all they learn from the generous white folk was how to rule their people the same barbaric way. Its just idiotic to me for whoever that wants to imply that there are less intelligent because of their race, all what they know have been thought to them by their colonizers.

i'm sorry, but there have been intelligence tests on blacks in various forms for a long time taken under various conditions... the outcome is always the same.

for starters, refer to standard progressive matrices tests.

Hmm. I'm just gonna think out loud for a minute.

We know that there are differences in thinking patterns between the males and females of a specific "race"... or "ethnicity" or "tribe" or "whatever". Men and women, generally speaking of course, have very different methods of communicating to their children: "These are your possibilities, and these are your bounderies".

We also know that the genetic differences between a blonde Swede and dark-featured Filipina are negligible compared to the genetic differences among the various sub-Saharan Africans.
What this means is that our ancestors lived in Africa for a long long time before they reached "supra-Saharan" Africa. After which they spread over five other continents rather quickly.

In the grand scheme of things, non-sub-Saharan Africans are seperated by sub-Saharan Africans by a brief period. And, up until that time, sub-Saharan African had been evolving in the normal course of human events.

Also keep in mind that neccessity is the mother if invention; that maybe Africans didn't build technological societies for the simple reason that they didn't have to. That non-sub-Saharan Africans led the human race in technology simply because they had to because they expanded into hostile climates, and climate is what, over the long term, is what changed our skin and hair color as we adapted to it.

It was the humans in the coldest climates that were first to explore ways of harnessing energy for heat, and to plow the land for planting crops that didn't seem to burst forth on their own.

Also keep in mind that we in the most technologically advanced societies, and having access to the internet and ATS, are mostly non-sub-Saharan Africans. Speaking only locally, and in my own experience and observation, to be White in America is very different from being Black America.

Being White in America, you don't have to think about race. But, being Black in America -- a "minority" -- you know that you are Black in America Every. Single. Day. This is where "systemic racism" comes in.

In the strictest sense, there has been no systemic racism in American since 1964. However, there is still "systemic racism" in the sense that humans are still humans, and can be very petty, short-sighted and/or downright oblivious to the plight of others.

Let's say you own a small fruit stand and you need to hire an employee. The first person that applies for the job is in a wheelchair.

"Aw, geeze," you think. "I don't wanna be "the crippled fruit stand". You give the applicant a fair interview, but you know you want someone else. Someone different.

The next person through the door is an 89-year-old Romanian immigrant. "Aw, geeze," you think. "I want a brand new, vibrant fruit stand with a future, not some tired old 'same old same old'". You give the old guy a fair interview but you want someone else.
The "cripple" or the "geezer" might be fine for work in the back, but you don't want them as the new "face" of your business.

In walks the next applicant: A young Black male. He seems to have all the youth and energy and wherewithal to get the job done and to get it done right. Now what do you do?

Well, that all depends on what you think your customers will accept as the "face" of your business. If they like him as much as you do, you're golden. If they don't, you're bankrupt. What do you do?

This, in my opinion, (and I'm rambling on a bit now, I know), is where "systemic racism" comes from. Not from an overt racism on the part of most honest people, but from the suspicions of those same honest people about the honesty of other people.

You have a business and you want it to succeed regardless of racial preferences. But how much do you trust your fellow man to want the same thing?
