Hi!

Found this interesting, don´t know if it is a magic trick or something else. See for yourself.

DUTCH magician Ramana has been doing his best to freak out American people by levitating in Times Square and in front of the White House.

this is the linkwww.news.com.au...

there is plenty on google about this.

I have to wonder what Bush thinks when he looks out his window and sees some guy levitating...
Boy, I'd sure like to be a fly on the walls of the White House in that instance.

Criss Angel could levitate over the White House fence, if it were not for the fact of getting shot to death by the Secret Service!! Imagine the looks on the faces of the cops there if they saw a human being float over the grounds!! Here he is on a golf course one morning astounding a few golfers: Imagine him venturing over the fence and heading toward Georgie boys window!!

i saw on an online store, its possible to buy some kind of anti gravity boots. they wouldn't go into details how it worked though. it could have been a scam.

Please keep in mind, these levitations are tricks, illusions and such, gadgets and props are used, no on levitates.

Elevated, and I suppose you know that for a "fact," eh? Illusion is just a fancy smancy excuse for skeptics to try to "debunk" the remarkable.

my question is if he can levitate, why does he need that wooden pole by his side?

He should be able to do exactly what he's doing with nothing around him.

Still pretty cool

I tell you what, you get a pole like that and try to do what he is doing and then come and talk to me.

Ha Ha, yeah, I wonder how he does that. I was watching TV, and I saw another man levitating, in Las Vegas, maybe? Are they really levitating, or is it an illusion? Very strange!

Angel, some of them are probably illusion. Whatever the hell an illusion is. No one really knows for sure, to be honest. However, to say, unequivocally that just because it SEEMS to deny the laws of physics or nature, or whatever, that it can't be real, seems kind of preposterous to me. That's just the way I see it.

That's a great job of elevating by sitting on a bent stick attached to a platform. He studied with the masters for years to achieve his mystical powers.

Ahem, ahem, I honestly doubt that anything protruding from the stick could support his weight. The guy, by the looks of him, weighs at least 175 lbs or so..... So, uh, no. Thank ya for your input though.

To you angle fans (i though you guys just ranted in your one thread). If chris really can leviate (and its not a illusion). Why doesnt he use his 'powers' for other stuff than just to entertain a croud? Dont you think if he REALLY could levitate that would be the biggest scientifc breakthru in the history of mankind and that every single scienctist would be trying to study to see how a man could poses such energy?

Stop your fanboy banter, he is a very tallented illusionist... not someone with magical powers.

ps. Stop saying that 'if we cant figure out how the trick is done then its real'. If everyone could figure out all of his tricks, why would anyone watch him?

Ahem, ahem, okay... First of all, the thread is not about Christ Angel... Secondly, allude to my previous comments about "illusions" for your reply...

So I guess that wouldn't explain why the stick is bending sideways, and why he's leaning towards it to compensate either, eh? Yeah, it's way more likely that he's utilizing antigravity generated through his rear end.

Oh, and thank you for your input as well.

This is your quote on illusions. Just because you dont understand what the term illusion make what he does real.

Here ill help you,
dictionary.reference.com...

1. something that deceives by producing a false or misleading impression of reality.
2. the state or condition of being deceived; misapprehension.
3. an instance of being deceived.

Chris is giving the illusion that he is levitating with out any outside help.
