DUTCH magician Ramana has been doing his best to freak out American people by levitating in Times Square and in front of the White House.

my question is if he can levitate, why does he need that wooden pole by his side?
He should be able to do exactly what he's doing with nothing around him.

I have to wonder what Bush thinks when he looks out his window and sees some guy levitating... Boy, I'd sure like to be a fly on the walls of the White House in that instance.

Ha Ha, yeah, I wonder how he does that. I was watching TV, and I saw another man levitating, in Las Vegas, maybe? Are they really levitating, or is it an illusion? Very strange!

That's a great job of elevating by sitting on a bent stick attached to a platform. He studied with the masters for years to achieve his mystical powers.

Ahem, ahem, I honestly doubt that anything protruding from the stick could support his weight. The guy, by the looks of him, weighs at least 175 lbs or so..... So, uh, no. Thank ya for your input though.
Angel, some of them are probably illusion. Whatever the hell an illusion is. No one really knows for sure, to be honest. However, to say, unequivocally that just because it SEEMS to deny the laws of physics or nature, or whatever, that it can't be real, seems kind of preposterous to me. That's just the way I see it.
1. something that deceives by producing a false or misleading impression of reality.
2. the state or condition of being deceived; misapprehension.
3. an instance of being deceived.
