www.amazon.com... I went to the designated site, i found nothing new there. I also went to the posted site where they advertised the VHS copy of the video for sale. Not only do they not have any for sale but they have no plans to make any in the future which is really strange because there is still a lot of interest in the case. There is no DVD available either. It is really easy to claim something as yours if the originators are not present to contest your claims. Dean Aliotos original claim was that he did the original take in one day for 6500.00 US, on this site his story and his budget have changed drastically to 900,000.00 US out of a 1.2 million dollar budget. Sure i believe him.

Ah yes, I love these little, cult like beyond b movies.

The acting could stand to be better but I guess you get what you pay for, the whole movie cost just $6,500 to make according the the link posted above this.

To the people who think this is real. You need to know it is not. The creator of this has told that it is fake. It is just a movie.

if this was real it would either be MUCH more famous as it would proove conclusively the exsistence of aliens OR it would have been completley covered up by the government and we would not be having this discussion.

As the creator of this little movie says, It is not real. It fooled quite a few people, but it is not real.

I must say, I like this movie though. A tiny budget forces directors to be much more creative because they have to work with what they have. I know it is a corny movie but I like it!

Oh hey, something else I just noticed ( I just watched it again) is one of the executive producers according to the credits, is Dick Clark. The last part of the credits shows the little dick clark productions logo and everything. Kind of neat.

The story it says, was written by,Dean Aliotos.

Quite facsinationg, To those of you who still think it is aliens, unless Dick clark is an alien, it is just a movie.

Like I said in my last post, if this was real, it would either be ALOT MORE famous as it would be THE proof of alien exsistence, OR it would have been completly covered up by the government and we would not be having this conversation.

the alien at the end went all jedi tricks on the camera at the end i couldnt stop laughing

Really? You saw it on t.v. the other day? Can you provide day, time and channel? I really am interested in verifying this. It is supposedly out of circulation, the original 1" tape destroyed and no copies for sale or trade.. A person claiming to be Dean Aliotos claims that all that remains is a 3/4" tape.....The ways his stories change i suspect there is more than one of him.

that video is good for laugh, but thats about it, the acting is very corny and the special effect look very 90's (i know it was made then)

Hi Guys, I saw the 1997 fiilm Alien Abduction; The McPherson Tape the other day on Sky Movies and so I looked into it.

I have read all the topics on ATS and decided to put my two cents in : )

I am on the fence despite what I am saying in this post.

I have read all of Dean's interview and here's a point I picked up on (maybe I got something wrong or missed it) ;

Dean said he was cut off from his network, and yet he has 1.6 million dollars to make a new movie?

Maybe that was money the government gave him to make another movie (and keep him quiet) and then when questioned about it to say what he did

I also find it strange that after his movie, Paramount decided to replace all the exec's. And then THEY decided to let Dean go.

Also, the fact that there is no full trace of the original and every site link I have gone to has been deleted, is strange too.

Well it was ages ago now. i cant remember when i posted that lol. but im pretty sure it was on sky movies horror/si-fi
