The Politics and Punishment of Pedophilia -- Worse than Murder?

I'm certainly not advocating not investigating these things. But where guilt is established beyond any form of reasonable doubt, such as the case of serial molesters, the death penalty is, IMHO, warranted.

Before you ask, if you were, I know that it has no deterrent value. For every monster removed from society, it seems two more spring up, kinda like a certain hydra from mythology, but that particular monster will never harm another child.

Of course all incidents and allegations should be investigated.

If I may be forgiven for skewing the topic slightly...my thoughts on the use of the death penalty are less is more.
