Steven M. Greer anyone ?

Shure i saw her doing a press conference with Steven M. Greer this was the time when i actually was thinking hay this man could be the one.

Now sadly the only thing i see when i think about Steven M. Greer is all the bad evidence and far out stories he tell's. And also the impression he gives of being a new age jesus christ.

It is a snippet from the 2001 DP NPC release. Definately has made its rounds here...

Some of the witnesses are compelling sure enough, but the DP is a joke.

Its the same old Greer's BS. Big talks and zero evidence.
Many years have gone by and still nothing except hot air.

What does that tell you? Never ever trust Govt/Mil/religious leaders/politicians unless its backed by major evidence. These types are most manipulative and most corrupt of all. There is a reason they are in power and its surely their great deceiving abilities.

Your point is well taken, rocksolidbrain. But politicians and religious figures learned long ago that hiding behind 'legitimate and trusted sources' is the best way to mouth their incantations. How do we identify information, then? My feeling is that in this primitive "information age" we are currently just "information slaves." By that, I mean that while we are free to accumulate much more information than ever before, we are also bombarded by as much advertising and editorial control as is humanly possible in our society's current value system. If the pipes are flooded with noise (celebrity gossip) with the occasional disinformation (ex. "washington insiders say") then we are truly just slaves by our conditioning to accept what the pipe says, with floodgates wide open.

All slavery is based on conditioning. On the up side, we can choose to 'run for it.'

To me, 'running for it' means turning off the control pipes and forming our own networks and communities of information. It also means that we must demand sources be explicitly named. Accountability is the only measure I can think of to compensate for our rampant information entropy.

On the topic at hand, where is this NASA witness now? What has happened to that person since this press briefing, and what is there current view?

There are many more people than Steven Greer talking about this.

Here is one interview with Sgt Clifford Stone saying there are 57 alien species, but is hesitant saying it since he knows people will have problems believing it.

Video

There are more interviews on the site.

When are you skeptics going to wake up? I dont see the point in refusing to believe the obvious anymore.

But its all talk isnt it?. Nothing concrete.

Let me ask you a question as you are happy to believe anything that people say.

I tell you I have a green pixie at the bottom of my garden that comes out and dances in a pink tutu, every full moon. It wont let me take photos of it as it is camera shy. But I promise you I have seen it and it is real.

Now do you believe that? and if not, why?
Thanks

The same kind of talk that is valid in your court of law, yes. Witnesses talking under oath.

I know you are a hardcore skeptic, but I dont think it makes sense. With all the credible witnesses stepping forward and talking about this, you just disregard everything as someone wanting attention? These people got more attention working top secret military jobs, let me assure you.

For some reason you seem to think that everybody else got it wrong, and you have it right. Yet the rest of us bring witness reports, documents and other things to support our story. What do you bring? Nothing.

I think you will have to find someone else to argue with if you are going to keep acting like a child, Chorlton.

Also you just gave yourself two blue stars in both your posts. Nice! How many alts do you have?

I can see now that im wasting my time with you. Thank you.

It's not even comparable.

First of all, you're the only person saying this. It's not the case with UFOs/Alien.

Secondly, when people, especially from military/governmental positions talking about these things it's with the interest of all the information be acknowledged and disclosed by the Government.

I don't take it as a simple "here's what I saw, believe me because it's the truth."

I see it more as a "here's what I saw, as a military/governmental employee I have some specialized skills and access, so let's investigate it seriously and have the Government disclose everything it knows regarding this matter."

Even if you don't believe in aliens or that UFOs are of extra-terrestrial origin, what's wrong with wanting full disclosure from the Government? Or independent scientific investigations?

Yea but are you willing to stand infront of a press conference full of people and maybe even congress to talk about it with absolute conviction?
No, I didn't think so...

I think, if you look its you thats acting like a child for not answering a very very simple question, the reply to which would answer many many questions that people put here

Also you just gave yourself two blue stars in both your posts. Nice! How many alts do you have?

So not only will you not answer questions you now accuse me of giving myself stars? I did not do that, but thats not what you want to believe so you wont believe it.

I can see now that im wasting my time with you. Thank you.

On the contrary It is I and other who are wasting our time with you.
You enter a discussion forum and make detrimental remarks about sceptics, then, when a sceptic ask you are quite easy question you start crying into your milk.

You will blindly believe anyone who says what you desperately want to believe and attempt to discredit anyone who suggests anything other than what you want to believe, which is so typical of sheeple type believers.

I apologise for thinking you to be a rational human being

In their interest yes. But humans are fallible. A person in the military isnt any type of superman and is just as prone to misinterpet something as a lollypo salesmam

I don't take it as a simple "here's what I saw, believe me because it's the truth."

You dont, but many seem to do.

I see it more as a "here's what I saw, as a military/governmental employee I have some specialized skills and access, so let's investigate it seriously and have the Government disclose everything it knows regarding this matter."

See explanation above, no one is infallible. No one has any specialised skills in recognising a UFO

Even if you don't believe in aliens or that UFOs are of extra-terrestrial origin, what's wrong with wanting full disclosure from the Government? Or independent scientific investigations?

Nothing at all, Nothing at all, but that wasnt my point
My point was to Copernicus who stated:

"When are you skeptics going to wake up? I dont see the point in refusing to believe the obvious anymore" in reply to comments about Greer.

Please do yourself a favor and don't miss this one: Greer video where he talks about "Gay planets", spaceship rides, and a whole bunch of weird New Age Love-in stuff in L.A., Feb 2007

Hope you have lots of time and patience - at 1:47, this clip will rob you of both...

BTW - see that search button at the top of the page? Just type in "Greer Disclosure video" or anything similar and you will be inundated with threads that have everything you could ask for on this topic. Greer-watchers, both pro and con, have beat this dead horse in dozens of threads already...

Good luck.

p.s. Watch the video in the link I posted above without delay: Greerites are scouring the net trying to remove copies as fast as they are posted - you'll see why...

Since it seems to be ok to post repeat after repeat....let's have another good time with the cult of greer.

dr.greer is the master of the reptilians as it is clearly and without a doubt proven on this site!!!!1111zomg

gosh, honestly, the cult is getting boring, same attacks, same attitudes, same ridicule, same "facts", just new alts, while others mysteriously stop to post.

Isn't there a happy sit-in in some desert, where you should be right now ? Or posting another Mothra......ehrm vectored alien energy anchor being pic, perhaps ? Please come on, give out the amazing new stuff.

You are the only one saying it. I haven't seen or heard of anyone saying such a thing. Gather a bunch of people from different backgrounds saying the same thing as you, and I'll look into it.

Investigating it is not the same as "blindly believing".

Not really. For it to be close it would have to be something like this:

I work as a gardener in your house and I have seen a green pixie at the bottom of your garden that comes out and dances in a pink tutu, every full moon. You, owner of the house, say that what I claim is preposterous and there's nothing to it. Years later another person who worked as your gardener says he saw that same thing I did. You keep saying it's obviously a hoax. Yet, years later another gardener says the same thing.

You catch my drift.

What you are saying is, since no one is qualified to identify such an event, it must be either a hoax or a misidentification, so people's testimony isn't worth a thing.

I also remember a time when claiming that the Earth actually revolved around the Sun, instead of the other way around, was considered preposterous.

That didn't stop people and science of developing the means to be "qualified to identify" and understand such an event.

I don't really care for Greer. What I do care and say is that the testimonies and people he gathered shouldn't be dismissed.
