My Demon

I am a sensitive I suppose, I see things and people/entities that most others don't in normal circumstances. One of these is a close associate, and has been for many years. He (I use the term loosely, he isn't always strictly of that gender) looks rather like what some of you might say is a Demon. I personally don't believe in religious myth, but I'm sure if I were to describe a dark, and sometimes malevolent seeming, humanoid shaped entity with a twisted smile, and stubs where his horns are sometimes not, who enjoys feeding off fear, lust and other powerful emotions, a lot of people would point and shriek, "Demon." Like another poster has had similar experience with on this site, this being has guarded me from physical damage or even death on many occasions. I have come to my own conclusions for this seeming interest in keeping me from damage. My idea at this point is that as I have been involved in a lot of trauma situations throughout my life, he was attracted to me as an intense source of food/energy. And no, at this stage, I cannot see the point of 'banishing/exorcising ' him, after all, my survival is my main interest, and if a little suffering along the way ensures that I am guarded from damage or death, I consider that a worthwhile trade.

Well, alot of people on here believe that we have guardian "angels", but what you're describing doesnt exactly sound like that.

How does he appear to you?
is he there all the time?
Does he appear when others are around and has anyone else seen or felt his presence?
Did you do anything that might have initially contacted this "being" (Ouija Board, etc)

Perhaps then you might like to call him my guardian 'demon.'
He appears to me in different forms, and in different ways. When appearing in what seems to be a physical form, he usually looks as I have described, a large basically humanoid shape, and other times as a variation of that basic form, horns instead of stubs, more textured skin/hide, darker or lighter shades of red, grey or black, sometimes with wings, other times without. (I speculate on there being stubs where his wings would be also, when he has stubs instead of horns, but he doesn't turn his back on me so I can't be sure of that.) He also sometimes seems more tidy, groomed, without claws, but usually he has claws. No hair, no clothes, sometimes no male or female parts, other times he/it/she has them. Other times he appears visually as just a dark sort of 'aura' may be the best way to describe it. Then, he may also just speak to me without a body, while he is in proximity to me in this form, I can often detect physically something that feels like a magnetic field perhaps. He isn't always there, or at least I am not aware of him at those times, but is always aware of what is happening to me, he will appear as needed to aid me, or feed on my emotions/energy. Yes, he appears to me at any time, whether others are there or not, and no regular person has seen him physically, although some have told me I make them uneasy without knowing why, but I now stay away from some 'psychics,' as they can often sense his presence or see the dark 'aura,' (he often sort of hangs behind me slightly to one side or the other), and when that happens, they are scared of me, or him, and they tell me I have an evil aura, or that I have an evil entity attached to me. No, I haven't used a 'ouija board', nor would I.

Something happened yesterday (a personal experience that changed how I felt about a lot of things) that changed this attached entities form also, not just the look of him/it, but its presence feels different now too. If I were to try and describe it, I felt as though some information that I received made my mind take a corner, and suddenly everything was different. He was hanging off me when it happened to me, and it felt like we both took a step up a ladder, afterwards, I felt peace and gratitude, and he seemed to have waves of calm radiating from him also. Interesting. I really do wonder what he/it is, and I wonder if anyone else has had anything happen like that, or could offer some ideas as to what he/it may be. I've run out of ideas, I'm only one person. Anybody?

It sounds like a good spirit in a frightening form.Do you have any sort of proof of this being? Its tough for people to get into these subjects without proof, If it turns out to be a hoax posters feel foolish for patronizing the accused. If it is legit, you need to ask why is the demon visiting you. You may be experiencing multiple dimentions.

Yes, it kinda makes you wonder really. I mean, think about the whole religious idea of demons, etc. Apparently the Bible says something about this Satan fellow, (and I'd be assuming his minions too) being deceptive, doing anything to fool people and getting them over to his side. So wouldn't that mean that the 'Spirits' that appear good, such as angels etc, would actually be the bad guys masquerading as purity, to suck in the unwary? Just a stray thought really. Anyways, why would I need proof of this being to discuss it online? I don't particularly care if anyone believes it exists or not, thats not really the point is it? It exists for me, and it makes for an odd topic of discussion. If you want proof of things, thats good, nobody should believe things on blind faith, but I can't offer you proof of my visitations, and it doesn't really matter, because I'm not trying to convert you, just discuss a weird topic. That said, I have pondered the 'why' for years, I have all sorts of theories, but thats all they are, I know I may never get any clear cut answers. Any theories that anybody else have to offer would certainly be appreciated, the multi dimension idea, yes, I have thought about that one. I think some people are particularly susceptible to seeing under the veil so to speak. Speaking of which, I think Quantum Mechanics seems to be a cool way to show scientific minded folk that there is more to our universe than meets the eye. It fits in well with the paranormal.

Well proof helps keep intrest in your story. Discussion is cool,evidence just help keep your thread alive. Its like buying a cheeseburger, and theres no beef. The picture looks great, but there is not much there.

Consider yourself gifted to experiance other entitys in multiple dimentions. not many people get that.Just make sure the intent of the spirit is goodness.Why are you chosen? Did you have a near death experiance by any chance??? There is enough evil we need superheros, not supervillians. Just go into the good, reject the evil.

You seem very persistent in this whole proof business for myself in particular. What proof can you offer me that you are a human being? I am starting to suspect that you may be an artificial er, intelligence. I have no evidence that you are anything other than a well scripted program. This is a board devoted to paranormal studies isn't it? (looking around somewhat confused) As far as I know, we currently have no undeniable physical proof of any paranormal phenomenon. So I guess you might like to try a site devoted to scientific studies, where you will find plenty of proof if you like, although having not conducted those experiments yourself, how can you be sure? Hmm. As for making sure that this entity is 'good' how exactly do you propose I do that? Should I ask it for proof of its goodness? Perhaps it will have some document signed by a higher being if thats the case? Oh no, but then I have to get more proof of 'goodness' from the higher being. Dear oh dear, will it never end? Ooh, if I use it to do good, do I get to be a Superhero eh? Does that mean I'll need a cool outfit? Personally I don't think any human alive should be tinkering with the whole worlds 'fate.' That might make my head too big, and I'm just one person, I would have to get some proof that I am qualified before embarking on such a precarious and dangerous journey.

Thanks for that then, I am not too sure that anyone else will have any ideas on this topic really, I don't think its a common issue at all, and I would say my prickly attitude is hard to put up with also if I'm being perfectly honest. (mentally trying hard to sandpaper off the edges)
And in answer to a question you asked, yes, I have had a couple of near death experiences, do you think they might allow entities from other realms to either notice you when they hadn't previously, or attach themselves to you somehow?

There is the answer! you had near death experiance, the entity probably saw you falling picked you up and has been with you since. I would consider it a honor to have a guardian angel even if it looks like a demon. I would try to change your perception of the way it looks.it all comes down to judgement, are you going to judge it as ugly or are you going to find the beauty hidden. This is our test in the world to find beauty in the rejected beings, and heal there pain. Perhaps the being needs you to help it become golden again. The answers will become clearer as time continues.Good Luck BooBabe, Im on your side.

Yes this is Paranormal Studies, so what are you looking for from the posters here. If you want this thing to be studied then people will ask questions and a part of that is working on some way to show it is what you think it is. If you want people just to say oh nice demon I’m sure some will do that too.

I for one would spend an extremely large amount of time to try and put some physical proof to it. I would be looking to see if it had an electrical force of some kind that could be measured. If you could point where it is and another person had an abnormal electrical reading coming from that direction too that would be a great find.

If only you can see it and it cannot act in any way in the physical world then there is not much anyone can do other than you might meet someone else in the same situation and then at least you both can take notes and compare.

Yeah, true that. Well I guess what I'm looking for is anyone else that has had this happen to them, I'm curious about that. So how dya think I could detect it then for a physical proof? You say measure its electrical field? I am not sure how to do that, do you know? I saw something once about sometimes people being sensitive to fluctuating electrical fields in the environment, and I wonder if the fluctuating field is because 'something' is there, and those people can see it, or because the field changes in the environment affect the sensitive persons head and cause the person to hallucinate?

Well if thats what happened, I feel very grateful that something picked me up and dusted me off when I most needed it, thats a nice thing to do, thats gotta be a little proof of his inherent goodness. Unless I don't deserve it, then perhaps not. Well if I don't deserve it, I'm glad to be alive just the same. I don't believe it is evil, just looks like it is through the stereotypical filter of beauty programmed into us human types. I've always thought he looked beautiful personally. I like to see inside people, whether they are live solid ones, or the bodily challenged. And the fact that he was attached to me yesterday when I felt like I took a good step seems to me that the exchange is to mutual benefit somehow.

Hey Boo, you're not the only one. I've been talking to someone for the last two years who is in a similar situation...except a bit further along the path. Demons do their best to earn trust. I have good reason to believe her "guardian" is trying to get her to give up control. Many times when she speaks to me the sentences are disjointed and rife with extreme swings of emotion including thoughts of suicide, blood, and power. I say all this half-heartedly because dispite warning, I'm sure what I have to say will be ignored until a greater sense of danger is upon you. If you want out, definately seek it. Feel free to U2U me as well. You have a choice to make (albeit it sounds like it's waiting) between your visible demon or the invisible Creator of it all. I hope the choice you make is the good one.

Itll always be really hard to understand why other beings are with you. One of my ideas of why is looks kinda evil is maybe because it had a rough life of whatever it was and saw you and didnt want you to go the same way and wants to protect you. Or maybe a near death experience triggered it to come into your life and help as a guide. One thing I would say though would to never allow it to take over, or enter your body, because you can never rule out the possibility of it earning your trust to take you over. Id say just be nice to it but dont allow it to go to which you seem is too far, remember, your life is your own life, you will know when too far is too far.

Bunit, I think that is a good theory as to why this entity may be hanging around me specifically. I have been through some pretty rough patches, sometimes I even wanted to die, but all along, there he was, I was never truly alone, and looking back now at those times, that means a lot. Of course, if I try on the paranoid shoes, that has an entirely different meaning. But the fact is, I came out the other side, I have found out more about myself than I could ever have found out without the bad bits. I have grown and evolved, and so has this other being.
S4G, I'm not quite sure what you mean by this 'path.'
I've had this entity around me for 12, almost 13 years now, I can't imagine myself giving it all my trust to be honest. if I was going to give up my power to another being, I would have done that by now I'm sure. Just not my idea of smarts I suppose, I mean, I have this life, this body, (this soul perhaps), for my own experience. I think perhaps thats a meaning to life some don't understand just yet, we alone are responsible for what we do in our individual life. Non physical entities cannot force someone to do anything against their will. For a non physical entity to 'possess' someone, (if thats what you're getting at?) I truly believe the person desires it, even if it is on a subconcious level. Anyway, I don't believe personally that anyone, or anything is truly 100% evil, if I believed in God, I wouldn't give up on this entity just because it looked scary, I would be patient and hope whether through my words, small as they are, or actions, to show by example that any being can learn and grow and become a better being. Having said that, I most certainly wouldn't give myself to it, or get closer than I believed was safe for myself.

I mean no disrespect, but, you can't love a demon into goodness. That is like going into the jungle and expecting the tiger not to have you for dinner, because you are full of love and happiness. Things do what they are meant to do. Demons cause destruction no matter what YOUR intentions are. Tigers eat other mammals for dinner, no matter how pleasant they are

Another one of my theroies is that the entity could be a reflection of all that has happend in your past, such as why it looks kind of evil is because of the bad and traumatic stuff that has happend in your life. Im not really sure which one of my ideas is correct, but it could be any of them.
