I'm not one for invasions, but reading these two posts have just made me very very sad for some strange reason. Like, I feel bad.
And yes, they are patient. Lol. More than any human would know I suspect. Its like a mother dealing with her rambunctious (sp) child. How long are we going to keep going with our tantrums, and how long is the parents patience going to keep going until we get a good swat on our buns?

I believe that these creatures have an infinite patience. But they won't let us get out of our biosphere with our weapons and warlike behavior...

thats not going to happen. ever. we'll never change. we have been fighting and killing eachother since we were using melee weapons. and we still havent learned. all we want to do is to evolve into a more destructive place. the world is not getting better, its getting worse. thre will never ever, ever be a time of peace between all nations. its just not in mankinds nature. we are doomed to destroy one another for eternity for reasons beyond our understanding.

To say we haven't changed at all is wrong. Yes, we are still war mongers and what not, but not to the degree we used to be during the viking, medieval age, etc. We aren't changing at the rate we are supposed to be because of all this violence promotion we see in movies, video games, TV, etc. I do think we'll change eventually, but humanity has to "wake up" and realize these behavior/thinking patterns are primitive and childish. And personally, I believe these ways of life were promoted by 'negative' ET's at one point in history or another.

Hate to burst your Bush hating bubble but if this is true in any way it is not George's doing. Remember, he is just a puppet so stop giving him so much credit

I have thought on this alot, things have become more civilized in what we accept in society. Most of the actions have moved to secrecy. I wonder if these wars every 20 years are to cull people with violent tendencies. Maybe slowly we are being domesticated. I have heard the crusades were partly used to get the people looking for a fight out of the influence of peasants unhappy with the monarchs and land owners.

I agree, we are still as violent as back then, but today we have the government carry out the attacks on other people instead of doing it ourselfs.

The government also pats us on the head and tells us that everything is going to be alright, like the little children we are. And we believe it.
