Thank God! Googles news page is so confusing. Hard to tell if they are referring to the tsunami alert from the first earthquake or the second.

Oz, thank once again for the update!

Great site! Am bookmarking it. It's best I've seen for earthquakes and right now it looks like the whole Pacific Ring's quite active. Thanks for sharing!

aljazeera-Fresh quake hits Sumatra

Snippet:
Both earthquakes struck near to the city of Bengkulu on Sumatra's west coast. Rescue officials in Jakarta have told Al Jazeera that with communications difficult and power cut in the quake area, a clear picture of the damage and numbers of casualties has yet to emerge.

Wow! Did you look at those death toll numbers in that Earthquake box on that page?
It's unbelievable isn't it?

I grew up in Indonesia and NEVER in my 20 years there I heard about earthquakes so large at such close intervals.

Something is definitely up, the earth is not well. Yesterday's C2C guest's topic about Planet X/ wormwood is sounding more and more real. Planet X is coming and the earth's tectonic plates begin to shift due to this new gravitational disturbance...

I hope all of this quake activity isn't going to awaken the son of Krakatoa, one of the most destructive volcanic areas in world history, I happened to watch a show on the History channel on Krakatoa and at the end they said earthquakes would be the signal of an upcoming eruption.

Here is a bit of info on Anak Krakatoa

Also Indonesia is home to a supervolcano bigger than Yellowstone, its known as Toba.

It troubles me that with all these huge earthquakes they have over there, this thing could wake up. If it does, its game over...forget Krakatoa.
