That land mass is the southern central part of Aotearoa/New Zealand, with Cook Strait, Marlborough, Banks Peninsula and Christchurch (the largest South Island City) clearly in view. The boom obscures Wellington, the nation's Capital (which lies across a tectonic plate boundary....think L.A. in a way) and is oriented approximately north-south.

Very nice pictures, interesting discussion. So why no stars?

Yeah, why is the Canada arm on the station? Good question. Amazing images nevertheless. Mr. Lear, I do believe you know a lot more than you are telling. You KNOW certain people in the KNOW and that's why you state things as fact. Ahem, these people must be in pretty lofty positions which would only leave a handful of names to pick from. That is unless you're getting your info from the alphabet agencies which would pretty much make what was told you disinformation. I too think we have a space force and that they are using more "up to date" vehicles. But I find it hard to swallow that we have a base on Mars. A rudimentary base on the moon perhaps, but not on Mars. Mr. Lear, are you ready for disclosure? Are any of you ready for TRUE disclosure?

Not sure if anyone has noticed or mentioned the anomaly in picture 1. It stood out to me immediately, so I decided to do some enhancements; the object definitely looks like a structure. There is also another, less noticeable object below the the main object.

(Crop, Resize %1200)

(Crop, Resize %1200, Solarize, Glow)

(Crop, Resize %1200, Invert)

(Crop, Resize %2000, Find edges, Solarize, Glow, Solarize)
This one is just the object cropped, I was trying to enhance any edges.

Another thing I noticed as I was linking them is how the atmosphere appears to spike out just above the lower object. This is mostly noticeable in the second enhancement.

Maybe it's deep space 10?

Canada makes many arms. I believe in addition to the originals inside of the shuttles, two newer fancier ones were built to go on sliding tracks on the space station. For help with self assembly? I believe it allowed them to do construction when cargo was lifted by the Russians, who have no arm?

John, I really get a kick out of your posts. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof, do you have any to back up your "600 million people" claim?

In regards to the more advanced spacecraft that is being sent up to space:

What country are they from?

How do they take off and land?

What type of fuel do they use?

Where are they kept when not in use?

Also, some questions about the "secret" spacestation:

Who built it?

How did they get the materials up in space?

What is it used for?

When was it commissioned?

Can we see it from the ground?

airtrax, thanks for the pictures. They are beautiful.

The United States...maybe Russia...

On a five plus mile airstrip

Element 115

Not on Earth

Of course, this might just be speculation.

Might as well get all the theories in on these picture. No one has mentioned any of the writing on parts and the Issac 'Caret' theory of substrates.

More to the Canada logo then one might expect? 'Assy' is really just labeling an assembly? Technology hidden in plain sight.

I've never seen this cloud pattern before. Is this common?

Just curious.

superb photos, thanks for posting

I am also interested in what John Lears wrote and would like to know more details.

Actually I'd like to add, now that I think about it that Canada logo may be the new one (I just got my election papers and it is the same). I think this logo started to be used after the year 2000, so this arm must have been made fairly recently (If my memory is not playing tricks on me).

airtrax007, you seemed to have forgotten to answer an earlier question of mine so i'll ask again....if these photo's were taken from the latest mission (Endeavour), then can you please tell me why there is a picture of the ISS space walk over New Zealand? The original picture was taken from the STS-116 Discovery mission in December 2006

Like I said before, nice pics - but some of these are not from the Endeavour and certainly were released to the public

You have been misinformed. Mars has an atmosphere almost identical to earths. The population there is around 600 million. People like us live there. I believe that most of your information comes from those little toy robots that drive around in circles pretending to give you a real picture of Mars. Or perhaps you believe NASA's information. In any case Mars is much different from what you have been told.

No, I have not been there.

I suppose you have fact to back up your statements, right? Surely someone of your stature on ATS would not make such a bold claim without proof. Please post the pictures of your evidence.

Thank you.

That old Carl Sagan chestnut? Carl was the most popular scam artist of the century. He played Johnny Carson like a violin. Sagan was far more popular than Klass but both had the same job which was disinforming the public at the behest and delight of NASA.

Do I have any proof to back up my claim? You mean other than the the 600 million people that live up there. Oh, you want them to come down here? Oh, you want to go up there. Oh, I see. You want me to prove that there is 600 million people living on Mars without them coming down here or us going up there? Nice!

Well you'll have to settle for the same extraordinary proof that Carl Sagan used to offer for his claims which is nothing. Oh yes, he had a great wink and a smile, like he was letting us in on something. He was letting us in on something all right.

In regards to the more advanced spacecraft that is being sent up to space:

What country are they from?

U.S., Russia

How do they take off and land?

Some are launched by Progress (zorgon will be posting some Buran launches and another secret aircraft launch this week.)

On a five plus mile airstrip

Unlikely. Long takeoff runs are a concept related to ancient types of engines.

What type of fuel do they use?

Element 115

Element 115 is not a fuel. But when bombarded with protons transmutation occurs and it becomes Element 116. Element 116 is unstable and instantaneously decays back to Element 115, throwing off (among other things) anti-matter. In this process of instantaneous decay, the gravitry A wave is accessable and it can be not only accessed but amplified to use for travel through space.

It is unlikely that we have the technology or would be able to harness this type energy for a ship that goes to the moon.

But there is more than one way to skin a cat or get to the moon.

Where are they kept when not in use?

Are you talking about the ships? I am not privy to classified storage areas.

Not on Earth

I didn't know that. Interesting.

Of course, this might just be speculation.

Would that be 'informed' speculation?

Thanks for the post boomadatigger.

Looks like he can say whatever he wants and get a way with it here on ATS when other people gets a warning or maybe even a ban for telling such stories. It makes we wonder, why does ATS support him? Is this a disinfo site?

I thought that one looked a little funny too. If it is a scale model though, how small a scale would you think it is? I've seen some truly amazing work by some really tallented modelers out there, but if that's a model, whoever made it would be the best there is in my book. Building scale models is a hobby of mine, but I have nowhere near the amount of patience to takes for that much detail.

Doesn't that symbol below NASA's logo have "3B" and "HST" written?

In that case this may be from the this mission

Now all we need is to get your friend to send us a picture of an Aurora, or a Black Mamba, and we'll be cooking...

Seriously everything wrapped in golden titanium tinfoil, no wonder its like $4 Billion a launch...
