Where Will the Next Large Scale Terrorist Attack in the U.S Take Place?

Blowing up stuff is played out. If terrorist act they will poison and kill ppl with chemicals. They would attact the food supply at stores I would think.

Anywhere except Boston, they need Boston for its strategic usage of people not caring and lack of security of any kind, plus too many muslims and muslim charities based in Boston.

good thoughts everyone, I am thinking that a terroristic thing to do would be to 'bomb' nuclear reactors. if one could strategize(word?) an attack on 4 of these reactors that would do some dame and leave a lot of people in the dark. however, i dont think that they would follow this game plan.

maybe as someone mentioned they will go the poison necessities routine. or possibly as someone else mentioned they will sabotage our credt agencies.

its hard to say for sure one way or the other, but one thing i am sure about is that they are probably planning it as we speak.

It'll be somewhere in the west, California or Washington. The nuke or dirty bomb will be put there so the prevailing winds carry the radioactive dust as far as possible and into the most populated areas as possible. Simple.

Dirty bombs are ineffective. Its been proven a person would have to stand where the bombs went off for over a year to have any possible radioactive poisoning.

Unfortunately I believe 9/11 was an inside job, so as per recent tradition the next false flag attack will involve explosive devices.

My prediction is that the Sears tower will be the target, using a mini-nuke suit case style device with fall-out radiation spreading throughout the city and to water nearby, designed to spark fear and panic among the population. Contamination of the Mississippi River may also be a tactic to spread more fear.
Some sort of government department may also be a target to eliminate any foreseen threats that might expose the plot. Martial law will be declared because of this but I can't rule out some sort of biological or 'designer' disease type scare either.

IMO, If the threat from the Middle East was real like the Bush Administration (and the media, dems etc) want you to believe, there is much that could have been done to terrorize the population along time ago. Having said that, there appears to be more enemies of the US created now than ever before so now there are obviously more people willing to do crazy things. Strategy of tension perhaps?

A while ago I heard someone talking about the idea of setting off a bomb, maybe nuclear at something like yellowstone park in order to try and set off the volcano, the same idea I guess could apply to fault lines. I can't remember where I saw this, and don't know if it's feasible or even possible, but it sounded pretty bad.

I think the guy a few posts back talking about 100 or so terrorists going on a machine gun/grenade rampage was horrific, but well founded, especially if these people have spent time in militant camps training with weapons, I think they could kill a lot more people than most car bombs do, before someone takes them out.

They now believe they were from business schools and privately owned vehicles and were probably taken for scrap.

Investigators from several agencies including Harris County and the FBI believe there is a much stronger possibility that the buses were stolen and simply chopped up so that the scrap metal could be traded in for cash.

Or they believe the buses were stolen and taken across the border into Mexico. But so far, checkpoints along the border have turned up nothing.

I think that the next attack would accure in a small unknown town with less then 20,000 people in it, because I live in a town with less then 10,000 people in it call Prineville, Oregon and you would never think that they would attack there but what if they did then everyone would begin to think that if they could attack a town that small then they could attack anywhere, and also it would show that they really dont care about how many people they kill its more about how many people they can strike fear into and thats all they want to see, just like when 9/11 what happened when the towers fell??, people stopped flying in planes, they were scared @%$#less to fly thinking that that could happen to them and thats what they wanted was to scare people.

I have to say that an attack on the "heartland" seems more viable to instill fear in the masses. First thing, you will stir up those who think they are safe from terrorists, because they live in a less metro area or central area of the country (harder to get a bomb to?).

Example: any cities in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa with ~100,000 people in them.

Another thing... Suburbs - Just the suburbs of Kansas City alone have over 100,000 in them, Olathe being a prime example of "suburbia" easily destroying a larger number of civilians while allowing normal economics elsewhere in the country. If you look at any large city, the suburban areas are overgrown with housing communities so thick, all you can see for miles is rooftops.

If I was a terrorists, I would go for maximum civilian targets intitially to make the government back down in fear of losing large numbers of it's voting population (middle class).

I might even focus on a heart-wrenching historical site just to hurt the morale of the country. Example as above Liberty Bell? Arlington Cemetary?

In the early 1990's I recorded a 4-hour show entitled "Ancient Prophecies" hosted by David McCallum (sp.) with dozens of clips regarding prophecies from all religions and cultures. Several clips fascinated me. One involved the Hopi Prophecy Rock which foretold the coming end of the present civilization (there will be a physical and spiritual 'cleansing') as a result of foresaking nature and growing further and further from our spiritual component. Another involved a group of Rabbi's who are experts on the Kaballah (sp.) who predict a nuclear attack on an American city as a result of man's 'fall from grace' (even though there is an illustration of the Capitol building frying they don't mention a specific city - i'm not sure how to interpret that). Another was of Edgar Cayce mentioning in a reading about the sinking/destruction of most of Japan and the west coast of the U.S. "BEFORE NEW YORK EVEN".


So many commonalities about future predictions from around the world in ancient times - much like the Noah/Flood story; gets a little scary.
