Why does this 'music' touch one's soul? As Swami Vivekananda said, "We are all part of this universe, within us and without. We are in reality that Infinite Being, and our personalities represent so many channels through which this infinite reality is manifesting itself....All the qualities we believe originate from the external world have their essence in the soul. When we perceive colors, sounds, etc., or feel pleasure or pain, these qualities are not experienced by the soul, they are the soul." (Swami Vivekananda).

This is the music of the universe, and therefore the music of the soul, of one's being, as it forms part of the whole.

Any wonder why one finds this music so mesmerizing? Because it's part of YOU!

Peace!

Wow, this is weird... sounds like the soundtrack for some creepy B horror movie, come on universe lets hear some METAL!

In all seriousness though this could have huge ramifications, what could it mean? The vibrational frequency of the Universe appears to have musical qualities, how is that possible?... This leaves me more confused about the origin of the Universe then I used to be, which is saying something to be sure

It's not that the Universe has musical qualities or makes music, but that the
Human mind finds structure that it considers to be music.

Heck it may sound like nails on a chalkboard to some aliens.
(Which is what some of the other magnetosphere's sound like to me.)

You can - go to that Spacesounds website and listen to Ganymede - boy there's some strange noise going on there - reminds me of the Tom Waits Bone Machine album or something like that. It sounds like a horde of aliens in the midst of a new industrial revolution - a different kettle of fish to the 'pleasing soothing' sounds of Jupiter!

Nope.

Thats the feeling of you realizing how small you really are. There's a feeling of being in something alive listening to that...but youre unsure what it is we're inside of.

Reminds me of this lyric:

"Lime and limpid green, a second scene
A fight between the blue you once knew.
Floating down, the sound resounds
Around the icy waters underground.
Jupiter and Saturn, Oberon, Miranda and Titania.
Neptune, Titan.
Stars can frighten."

Nice post, fantastic sound to think by.

That scared me....to me it simply means that Jupiter wants to blow up really bad.

Just so you know, that audio has been pitch shifted quite a lot, because the original recordings were at very high frequencies.

"Time on this recording has been compressed, so that 73 seconds corresponds to 27 minutes. Since the frequencies of these emissions are well above the audio frequency range, we have shifted them downward by a factor of 44."

The disinfo is that these scientists say it's electromagnetic vibes from planets and other bodies but one must accept the possibility that these ' space sounds ' are actually extraterrestrially orchestrated music. The grays particularily like to dance with there wavy arms and hips. They are humorous and courteous beings. One must get to know them when the time comes!.. Oh and I forgot to mention, space sounds are the next big thing for the musical culture of mankind.

Shifted downward by a factor of 44? What the hell? They should post the original untouched audio or not at all! Or does this mean that the frequencies would be unaudible (like frequencies only dogs can hear)?

Yes. You wouldn't be able to hear any of this at that high of a hertz. Knowing my audio engineering I can tell you right now that they mastered these well below what the raw audio file had. They pretty much reduced all the "sizzle" and "fuzz" bars down to nill. I don't know, it might be because they had a very high amount of clipping from the higher freq or they didn't think it was worthwhile to hear. There's still some left though.

I think I'll try and bring back the missing higher hertz though. Just to see what wasn't "worthy" of hearing.

Another interesting thing about the sounds are, they have a natural wah-wah. They also have a natural dynamic EQ going up and down slowly behind the main sound(s). I think that's the coolest part, these bodies in the universe actually have their own technique to sound manipulation. I don't even think we heard these before we ourselves (humans) tried out the first DEQ and wah-wah. It's nice to see we're not the only ones who can come up with them, eh?

Edit: I fiddled about with the mastering and I can tell you right now, at higher frequencies this pains my ear. That's extremely rare when it comes to audio but I do not recommend anyone to listen to this with the higher frequencies notched up, at all. The only other issue with this file is that the stream itself actually adds its own cruddy fuzz (lo-fi). Nothing I can do to fix that.

How can human hear sound in space when in school teacher tells you that sound need a platform to travel.
No air in space.
Sound is the consequence of vibrations of the molecules of the air that "clatter" to one another, a wave that propagates itself in the air (to 340 m/second) or in water much faster.
According the above, you could be in the cosmos near by a traveling space craft with full of Alien having a Hell of Xmas party with you not hearing any of it.
Is any one there can shad light in this matter…thank you.

What you're hearing has been converted to sound from the electromagnetic wave data. Think of it like a radio station they convert the sound to an electromagnetic wave to transmit the signal then your radio converts it back, that's a simple way to look at it. There are some conversion tools or sites that will do conversions from one to the other using formulas to convert the frequency, wavelenght etc...

Thank you Squiz for your input.
I have to make some search in this matter because I believe that human brain are the best converter of wave sound, if using an artificial devise to convert the electromagnetic wave then in logic what we hear is an interpretation and not a true factual sound.
Most probably I will have to direct my search to metaphysic or philosophy to get closer to some kind of sense about it.
Any way it is fantastic subject.

That sounds very calming, mysterious... I imagined myself floating in space above the clouds of jupiter and the sun shining in my eyes.

Moments like these make me apreciate life at a very deep level.

Although it is heavily manipulated and probably nothing at all what it really sounds like

this is beautiful, listening to this music invokes emotions and feelings in me it conveys the vastness of the universe
