I have a podcast.

Will a kind soul help me to deliver my news to our ATS site and the world?

I've made my podcast, saved it, and want to know HOW to deliver this news to our residents and others!

I'm new at this. I've downloaded the 'Audacity' and other things that Mr.Wupey has suggested.

I've saved my podcast under a certain name, NOW.. HOW do I bring my podcast from my puter to the forum? I've checked the major threads, and NOW I want a single...SIMPLE...SIMPLE... recourse.

Please guide me 'step by step' on how to do this.

You guys have been so good in the past in HOW to guide me with certain things, I rely on you ALL now.

I'm extremely fast on how to pick up on things, (I don't tute my horn with a lot) and yet, I want a simple and fast method ) (step by step method to doing things). Once I SEE how things are done, I catch on quickly, and more than likely, I don't make too many mistakes!

Step 1 = ?
Step 2 = ?

Thankyou ALL,

Much love and appreciation,

~DUCKY~

I'm not sure how to podcast, but why dont't you try a friendly U2U to one of the current podcasters, I'm sure they would be happy to help.

Benevelent?
I thankyou hon for helping me, YOU were the first to take on my thread in a 'productive, polite, and progressive mannor'. Now I'm gonna ask the moon of you...Help me..STEP by step. If you don't mind terribly?

You said these things:

"See up at the top under the ATS Mix banner where it says Podcasts? Hit that.
Then on the left side, pick the kind of PODcast you want to upload (Music, Politics, etc)
Then fill out the form on the right under Create a PODcast and hit upload

Tell me where to click on....'step by step', oh btw Benevevalent, I've been watching YOU for some time, and I wanted to let you know that I've put you on my 'friends' list. You have quite a 'mind' about you and I wanted to let you know for some time, "I appreciate not only you sprituality but logic within the threads. "If the word POSSIBLE is possible, then anything is 'possible". ~Your friend - Ducky~

Do you see up at the top of the page (whatever page you're on) the ad for Dave Rabbit's and Johnny Anonymous' show ATS MIX? And it says "Play Now" on either side? Under that is a row of text:

news@ATS Conspiracy Search Gear Store Member Blogs Podcasts TinWiki Alternative News AbovePolitics BelowTopSecret

Hit the word PODcasts.
That will open the PODcast page.

On the right side of that page is a form called "Create a New PODcast"

You fill in a title (just like a thread title) and a small description. Then choose from the pop-down menu what kind of PODcast it is. If it's your introduction, it goes in BTS Talk, if it's political, it goes in PTS.

Then fill in how long it is in minutes and seconds (if it's less than a minute, use 0 minutes and however many seconds)

Pop a couple of keywords in there (Just and Ducky, perhaps)

And then click Browse and find it on your computer and click on it.

Then hit upload and wait.

How's that?

When you saved your podcast in Audacity, did you choose "File" "Export as mp3"?

That's what you need to do. Then that will create a file on your computer called Ducky.mp3. Do you have that file?

Then use the browse button as I explained in the U2U to browse on your computer and upload it to ATS.

Where are you getting stuck in the instructions above?

Ducky, I'm sorry but I have to go. If you saved your Audacity program to Ducky.mp3, then follow the instructions above in this post and you should be able to do it. I'll check back later and hopefully, it will be all straightened out.

Maybe someone else will step in if you can't quite get it.

Good luck. I'll be back later.

Is it working for you yet?

Just checking in this morning and no response?

Ducky, to be clear, I HAVE given 'step by step' instructions. How this happens is once the PODcast is made in Audacity and saved on your machine as a .mp3 file, ATS 'pulls' your PODcast up from your machine, so you have to go about it starting on ATS.

Just go through the steps I've given in the previous post and see what happens.

I've download 'Audacity'...NO probs there.

I've downloaded the 'Lame Library'...No probs.

I've made another 1st podcast...ready/willing/and freakin able to boot. It's ready to go into Podcasting.

I clicked on this particular file of what I want to podcast and saw that I could 'export as Mp3.

NOW...

HOW.. or rather WHERE should I go next.

If I download to the 'Lame library', WHAT FILES do I need to click on, to open and make sure the podcast from 'my first podcast' 'Audacity' is delivered properly.

I'm an ol' Fart...so walk me through step by step.

I appreciate your help please?

~Ducky~
