Bush abuse of executive privilege give him the power to make bills and signing bills without congress votes or approval.

Under his executive powers he can, ignore about 750 laws when then conflicts with is interpretation of the constitution.

One of his favorites executive powers privilege is to sign statements to bills pass by congress.

One of his own political party members Chairman Arlen Specter, R-Pa, was trying to have senate pass a rilling to stop Bush from “signing statements” attached to bills because they are unconstitutional.

This is not some lies, or bashing this about real events, going on behind our backs and perpetrated by our For the people elected president. to have totalitarian power in case of another terrorist attack or when he is ready to take over government once and for all.

I for one think its a great idea that the president be in total power in case of a national emergency. Someone has to be in charge to prevent anarchy and for continuity of government and it may be hard to convene 500 members of congress if the emergency is severe enough. Who do you want to be in charge? The governors of each of the individual 50 states?

1. Write books defining how to KILL THE PRESIDENT
2. Routinely call the Commander in Chief HORRIBLE names
3. Attack a Conservative at will
4. Cheer on the Terrorist attempt to kill the Vice President
5. Create a WEB BLOG to encourage #4
6. Call for the surrender of our brave troops

Yet any comment, a simple posting of my opinion on here, is labeled an attack..

Shame on the double standard. I expect it in the general populace, but on here one anticipates a higher level... Oh well..

The lefties have been wearing the placard of doom in the streets as long as the Republicans have been in office, ANYWHERE, and look at the FACTS... NO POLICE STATE... Election process proceeding nicely, no matter what nut jobs claim is corrupt, FACT

So the act of ignoring the FACTS is a long and respectful process for the left. As far as the left having a socialist agenda, what else would you call the end of Capitalism, Free Enterprise regulating by a HUGE government and the end of free speech?

For your history class, We are a Repubic or at least we were until Democracy or the Definition of Democracy imply that the Republic is not necessary any more..

Yes each state is represented on their own. by their people.

July 13th I was lying in my hospital bed recovering from my rowdy appendix and its enforced removal when my favorite news magazine came on Bill Moyers Journal. I lay transfixed on the most uncomfortable mattress ever created (talk about torture... if I had had any secrets to give away I would have just to get off of it) as the "liberal" author of the book "The Genius of Impeachment" and the "conservative" author of the articles of impeachment against Bill Clinton discussed the case against bush minor. Much to my amazement they agreed more than they disagreed, highlighting that despite republican efforts to paint this as a liberal/Democratic attack against the president, that in all reality there is a wide spread discontent with the bush/cheney team and the general feeling that they have crossed the line... as much as you may dislike it semper, it is true; polling indicates that 45% are in favor of impeaching bush minor and 54% are in favor of impeaching Cheney. You diehard bush minor supporters are indeed dying hard, but dying you are. The American people know what is what and despite your shrill rhetoric against "socialist" liberals who hate America and all that tripe, are finally beginning to see the bush team for what they are, and it is not republican nor is it conservative; your party and your ideology have been taken for a ride Semper; these people are in it for the permanant haul and unless they are checked and your party comes to its senses and puts this country and its constituition first; then the gig is up. But when the likes of Harriet Myers asserts that she swore an oath of allegence to president as opposed to the constituition, and you see nothing wrong in that, something is wrong. We are supposed to be above allegence to the individual in favor of the greater good.

BTW your complaints about "liberal" name calling pales in comparison to the trashing you guys gave Clinton so excuse me while I wipe away my crocodile tears.

I dont know why so many folks are pushing this conspiracy for the US to become a police state. That would totally contrdict our push fro worldwide democracy and the ultimate goal of a one world government. A police state will do the reverse of that and is not in this country's interest politically or economically. Mark my words: WONT HAPPEN.

Until then carry on and if we ever do enter a state of martial law i'll be the4 first to post and say i was wrong.

Personally I've taken several IQ tests I've found on the internet and in all of them I barely score within the average-intelligence range so apparently I'm anything but intellectually gifted. But in my humble dimwitted opinion (according to the IQ tests I've taken), your grammar and writing style, spelling mistakes and "lols" hardly are indicative of a superior mind.

I have heard about the NWO and the police state conspiracies.

But Advisor this is the first time I come across the Operation Vampire Killer.

As I read one of the links you provided, I have to agree that even When I knew that we are a democracy is not much we learn about the Republic that is the true system of government we are under.

I heard all the time that the Republic is under attack, dying and almost forgotten due to agendas against our constitution and our system of government.

I even heard people claiming the constitution is too old and needs fixing and they are happy with that way of thinking.

I heard sometimes people, older people talking about the Republic that is no longer there.

But I will like to understand why Democracy seems to be the modern term use and the Republic is not.

If this information I am reading is true, then how can I relay as a citizen that see something wrong with our system of government on the police, Guardsmen and military including the private sector to protect our rights.

Who will be the patriots and who will be the traitors.

I most ask again and again who will become the traitor and the patriot when on one side our own government is working toward a police state and we the people alliance to our system of government also means the protection of that government.

After reading the link I am more confuse that I was before than ever, I don’t see any citizen allowing our government to be handle to the UN, but I see a lot of people that want our system of government to remind the way that has served our nation and served our nation right, while respecting and maintaining our constitution and keeping that constitution intact.

I am still confuse but as I read more into perhaps I will be able to understand the publication.

After all a person like me has reached the opinions I hold on the dangerous times in our nation through the series of events that are facing us lately.

Hopefully it will be nothing but rant and we will move on to a new government in our nation elected as is guarantee by our constitution.

But sadly anything that has been done during this administration will definitely will be supported by the next. . .

Relay it by finding those who wish to do the same, "birds of a feather...".
Also, find out why people are afraid or disbeleive such could occur. The truth is hard to swallow and may hurt, but it is the truth after all.

The high foreclosure rate is largely a result of ARMs coming due. The economy is very strong; the DOW closed at a record high above 14,000 this week. Of course the explanation is not that simple; the economy is complex, but I wanted to address your point about home foreclosures.
