As such the article referred to about the postion of toilets for prayer times is most likely total and utter BS, because any self-respecting Muslim isn't going to be praying on the toilet.

I can't believe I'm havign to post this link but hey - its all about ignorance denial;

Yes it is and once again it appears to be your ignorance. Had you read the sourced/linked articles propperly you could have seen it was not about praying on the toilets it was about which direction they faced while on the toilet.

The Islamic religion prohibits Muslims from facing or turning their backs on the Kiblah — the direction of prayer — when they visit the lav.

Sopurce

Ignorance is denied.

Thats the drinking laws though Bodrul, you aren't permitted in most town centres to drink alchohol because of local byelaws designed to deal with with binge drinking. Its also conditional on most pubs licences these days that they don't allow glassware to be taken outside to prevent its....how shall I put it....?... misuse.

Its still legal to purchase and carry glass bottles though

I bow to your superior ignorance.

What you forgot to point out was that the refurbishment was being carried out anyway

Jail Toilets Face away from Mecca

The refurbishment has been carried out with due consideration for all faiths", a Home Office spokeswoman said.

"Following consultation with faith leaders within the prison, various small adjustments were made to ensure the faith issues of all prisoners are taken into account."

Thats not exactly "insistence" or "demanding" is it?

So what was your point about it again?

It was not relevant. You said they did it because of prayer and it is clear by what it says it was not done for prayers it has to do with using the facilities and the direction the face nothing more.

Then why bring the issue of the toilet placement up in the first place?

After all, you raised it saying

See it sounds funny yet it is true they are pushing more and more each day to get the world to change to their ways and that scares me.

But it wasn't pushed at all....

You call it a request yet when I hear people refusing service that too me is demanding they use other cabs. I do agree though some are requests while others are demands as is the case with cab drivers.

As for the class part it is very simple, just look at the groups making the requests and demands, you will find they are alleged to be aligned with the absolute minority which are associated with the muslim brtherhood/ better known in this day and age as al queida or Wahhabi movement. in many areas.

but it is relevant you seem to be taking news and other things and ignoring the relevant information to push your agenda accross

if the place was not being referbished and was done because of one group you could have used it as a valid point. yet you chose to stay ignorant of relevant information provided

please show me demands all you have shown were requests by muslims with you painting as demands. you have brought up new sources with each one being debunked by other members aswell.

you brought up a couple of people who refused service and blew that up.

seriosuly get off your high horse and look at the facts

Shots, are these new installments to the restroom restricted only to Muslims, or will they be accessible to anyone?

If they were using public sinks, then I can't see how they would call for a private use for the foot baths..if so, well its wrong. If the sinks were good enough for their use then their footbaths can be utilized by anyone. I dont even think there should be a discussion about it on their part.

It was not a few people and I did not blow it out of proportion.

The MAC says there have been nearly

5,000

cases since 2002 in which a cab driver refused to transport a customer who had or was suspected of having alcohol.
Source

Please visit the link provided for the complete story.

In this case those are only the ones in the Twin Cities. The same thing happened in a few other cities in the US as well as in Canada and Australia.

Might I suggest in the future you look up the facts first before you assume.
things and accuse people of wrong doing where there has been none.

The source article made no mention of that. My assumption is that others would not use them since there is no requirement for other faiths to wash their feet several times a day.

The main objection aas I saw it was the use of public funds however, CAIR turned it into a safety issue to get them although my assumption could well be wrong. I have no objection to them if the Muslims paid for them, yet there is also another point to make here and that is the fact that the ACLU wimped out rather then sue. Hell if it had been a Christian wanting a religious symbol on a public school desk they would sue immediately just for placing it on government/public owned property..
