Vampires as a myth are fictional. They do not burst into flame at the sight of a cross or garlic or anything like that. They don't live forever or any other tired cliche`s. Vampirism is a craving and necessity for blood. If you don't have it you become weak and sickly, sometimes even violently ill. They aren't supernatural they're mortal like you and I, they just have more peculiar needs.

If there truly are any real vampire societies, the only way to get in would be through word of mouth. These practitioners must be very secretive to keep on living their lifestyle without a big news story uncovering them. Most the sites posted up here seem to lure in your wannabe crowd, but not offer the real thing. I don't know where to start, and I really don't want to start, let them drink their blood in peace.

Funny thing about being a goth. You get hit on by more women looking like that^ than you do looking like your average guy

Well, I will say this, many of the females that are "goth" or whatever, tend to be very attractive young ladies when you get all of the muck off their face. It makes me wonder what draws them to the whole "goth" culture. I have never really understood it really.

As far as the vampire thing goes, I have encountered some vampire "cultists." I also believe that there are psychic or emotional vampires, but as far as there being like immortal beings around with sharp pointy teeth, I personally don't think so.
