Of course Vampires exist! Who do you think started the Bloodbank? They are tired of hunting us because we got all lazy and too easy so they gave us the decision to just donate to them.

Hehe that is quite a conspiracy! And pretty damned funny if it was true!

Camirella :

Queen Ann Bowsley as she has been called for centuries is the reigning Prince of London. A Ventrue, Prince Bowsley is a highly recognized member of the Ventrue Higerarchy, called the Euphorate. She and the court of London are some of the most influential Kindred in the world, and few princes of the Camarilla demand more respect.

From Here

It's part of a game.

Bout as close to a real society of vampires as your going to get I am afraid. This group is pretty cool Live Action Roll Playing on a truly massive scale. From what I understand they have groups literally all across the country and there are rivals too.

Kinda like pseudo vampiric gangs

Actually I remember it being mentioned on a History Channel special on Vampires that there are underground night clubs in The States where vampire'ish people hang out... even drink blood. No foul play or anything, probably animal blood.

No there are actually some on the fringes of Gothic society that drink human blood, and some that use bloodplay in conjunction with ritual and sexuality. There was a New York reporter that went into the underground vampire culture ( I am NOT stating that the movie depiction of immortal blood drinking creatures that burst into flames exist, I mean humans who drink blood, etc consider themselves vampires) that disappeared, and I read a book about it roughly two years ago,I believe this to be the book, but again, it has been two years.

For those who were curious,

The camarilla is a sect of the game known as Vampire the Masquerade, part of the World of Darkness roleplaying game world. Also included in this gameworld are Vampire's, Secret Real Wizards, Celtic fairy folk called Fey, and Werewolves.

The publishing company is called White Wolf.

The Camarilla in this game are arbitrarily the "good guys" because they try to maintain the illusion that vampires are fictional, and try to blend into society. The Sabbat are the other sect, the "bad guys" they don't give a rats ass about hiding the fact they are vampires. They may not advertize the fact, but the obvious actions of a vampire they make no bones to hide it.

The game is just that, a fictional representation of a slightly more skewed and dark version of our world, where the supernatural is much more prevelant, and humanity is kept in the dark about it's creepy reality.

I have to snicker about that tantric homosexuality crap someone else was pitching. The bloodplay I have witnessed had been strictly from a heterosexual erotic kinkiness stanpoint. The classic vampire seducing the opposite gender, for their blood.

heh.. nice one parry noid. Vampires exist of course, multiple reports of them and of werewolves exist today. tryin to deny them is like tryin to deny George W. Bush is a terrible president. opps did i say that aloud. anyway. clans of vampires and werewolves do exist and its hard to deny. at least for me and countless others. Vampires date back to hundred and thousands of years.

Your proof of this is where? The only vampires I have foundto exist are people on the fringe of the gothic subculture, and they don't burst into flames if exposed to sunlight, or require human blood to exist.I would be quick to point out that the concept of a "santa claus" exists in most countries in one form or another but that does not mean that there is actually someone with a red suit and hat and a sleigh driven by flying reindeer that employs toymaking elves to have gifts for all of the good boys and girls.

Sometimes a myth is a myth no matter how often it is found in numerous cultures.

So how about some semi cold hard proof on the existence of werewolves and vampires, please.

I think I saw that same History channel show about the women who was trying to get into the underground vampire scene and someone she had been getting close to had been murdered. Wasn't she an author or some type of news reporter? Said she later talked to one or two men who admitted to the murder, but she'll never reveal who they are because she's too scared or something? It's been a while since I saw it.

Anyway....

I like how some people in this thread just automatically assume that if your into the gothic lifestyle you think you're a vampire

There's two types of goths and yes I'm speaking from experience. There's the true goth and the wannabe goths. The wannabes are the ones that feel the need to walk around acting demented and stupid and talking about how "dark and gloomy" everything is and they think they have to walk around in groups giving people the evil eye. You've most likely seen them hanging outisde your local Hot Topic in the malls.

These same people are the ones who think acting like a vampire is a part of being goth when that has nothing at all to do with it. These are the same ones some of us now call EMO. They think it's cool to cut themselves and show it off to everyone for attention and complain that their parents don't love them. They make true goths look stupid. They also making real cutters look stupid. Real cutters feel the need to cut themselves to relieve their pain and depression. You would know one and have no clue because they don't feel the need to brag about their cutting. Angelina Joile is a former cutter and apparently still does it. I went to school with a girl that was a cutter. Knew her since the 3rd grade. In the 9th grade I was at her house and walked in on her doing it in her bathroom. She was 14 then and started doing it when she was 10 and I had no clue.

Is it obvious I can't stand the wannabes?

Since we're on the topic of goths. Here's me 10 years ago:

Funny thing about being a goth. You get hit on by more women looking like that^ than you do looking like your average guy
I miss those days. But I did get really tired of hearing: "Has anyone ever told you that you look like Robert Smith of The Cure?". I'm a fan of The Cure, but I could only take soo much of that.

I'm aggravated in the picture because a cop was driving by looking directly at me with a look on his face like he wanted to beat me with his night stick

_david ... I ... won't ... say it ... but I was sure thinking it!!!

It is true, that look really pulled girls back then, and still can at times now. I personally can't pull it off, but I had the personality for it in the past.

Vampyre the Masquerade for PC is almost a must buy now ... it should be rather cheap, and if you like games, replayable. It has been a while so I don't know if I have the names/spelling right ... but each vampire type you play as gives you different talk options, different abilities, so different gameplay ... so playing as a nosferatu is much different than a malkavakian.

I always like the Anne Rice romanticism to the vampire twist as well.

That homosexual hatred crap before was uncalled for really (deny ignorance and bigotry/discrimination) ... don't know if they believe it or not, but such nonsense ... I will echo above poster ... any bloodplay, biting, and other such activity I have ONLY known from heterosexual friends ... actual my gay and lesbian friends were more responsible, clean cut, mainstream types. Kind of throws their whole theory out the window ... maybe they are denying their hidden desires? People do tend to validate themselves by hating others ... which is less Christian and I would think would equally if not more despised by Jesus who loved even criminals ... since that post/link also brought in religion. Nothing personal to the poster, but that train of thought is horrid in this day and age. I won't allow myself to debate the religion aspect any longer.

I would also be a vampire for one reason ... I would be one of justice and avenge the rights of the people through my powers and abilities ... though it would be better to be a Blade-type who is not burnt by the sun and has some smooth moves

These people are deadly serious about the life style and that vampires are real. They even claim to have created the Vampire Bible...

I concur, I believe this is the group that I was involved with many many years ago. They have been around a long time but in the end I remained an outer ring member and did not pursue further involvement in their society.

Ive just taken a look at www.vampiretemple.com

Pretty serious stuff, you litrally have to buy the bible to become a member.

Although im not interested in joining at this time of my life, it would be quite interesting to see what is inside the bible.

But I believe buying it just out of interest is forbidden or something.

There is nothing wrong with buying something to read it out of curiosity it is not as though you are bound to anything by reading.Religions no matter how obscure and though processes of others have always been interesting to me.Doesn't mean that I believe in any dogma in particular, from an anthropological standpoint it is interesting to learn about others, and as far as the gothic community goes, i have had several good (real) gothic friends over the years, and like a few death rock bands.More of a punk rocker myself than anything.

I suppose your right. I may buy it eventually then, im really interested in what it will say.

Sometimes I wonder, if people are this convinced vampires or such exist, then who's to say they don't.

Does anyone by chance know of someone who bought the vampire bible?
