Throw US and the UK into the mix and that's enough firepower and man power to invade Iran. Israel holds the largest population to military personnel ratio in the world. At the age of 18, all able bodied males and females are required to join the IDF.

Seems like everywhere, while the old politicians sit safely in their chairs and start the wars, they have the youths finish it.

Israel found out last summer it couldn't plow through southern lebenon just like we found out we couldn't plow through Iraq--now every one thinks with our help, Isreal can whip it's way through syria and Iran. Sorry--but not this decade. And nukes are out of the question--too many countries have them and will use them if we do.

What they give up in one place they take more in another and besides they may have left the settlements but they never actually left Gaza. Read the reports. Settlements have been expanding.. So what land have they given up? Its a shell game.

Also I believe the deal to "Give Back" the Golan Heights was more like Israel gets a lease to hold it for the next 15 or so years to make sure there is peace. LOL They give it back but keep it.
