On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 - specifically the collapse of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe that there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore that the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that may have been the actual cause behind the destruction of the World Trade Center Towers and WTC Building 7.

Dear Colleagues,

We are very pleased to announce the launching of our official website for Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth www.AE911Truth.org on Memorial Day! This site is dedicated to bringing forth the abundant evidence to Architects and Engineers of the "controlled demolition" on 9/11 of the 3 World Trade Center high-rise buildings — the Twin Towers and Building #7. Many do not know about this third sky-scraper — a 47 story building that was not hit by an airplane and yet "collapsed" into its own footprint with a smooth, symmetrical, free-fall speed, and with very clear evidence of explosives.

Bolded parts by me. I have an issue with the absolutism way that the bolded parts are worded. Being Architects and Engineers, they should know better than to say something absolutely like that unless they ARE absolute. But, hopefully, they ARE absolute.

I browsed the forum earlier and have to say, I was a little disappointed with what I saw (maybe I didn't see enough). I had hoped and expected the discussion to be almost entirely factually based, and include lots of 'stuff' I didn't understand about the way buildings behave, energy calculations, etc, etc. Instead, it seems the nature of the debate is being dictated by the de-bunkers who have, for the most part, got people arguing about the motive. We have plenty of that here and elsewhere.

I hope this is simply because the board is new and the 'specialists' have yet to engage.

I hope so also. I checked the site out yesterday and it still said "under construction". So, I'm not sure when it actually opened. I'm assumming sometime over night because I recieved that e-mail this morning when I got to work.

Are they going to release any sort of engineering analysis as to the collapse of the buildings?

Interesting to follow this isn´t it? The debunkers as said are all over this, and this has not been out but for half a day....

Needless to say, if I were a structural engineer or an architect my name would be there too... Would anyone across the pond be interested in hearing this? I do have some relations over here who are in construction (and are acknowledged). I´ll pass this on...

I caught that in your last post. Pray tell, who are the debunkers? Gravy, esdad, snoopy, Cameron Fox (Howard Roarke)? Do any of the debunkers have expertise in architecture or engineering? I guess I'll have to take a look see.

I think the issue isn't exactly whether or not the debunkers have expertise, but that the people who supposedly do, are not using their knowledge to debate the WTC7 fall on the forums. It's just motive, not actual proof that it ever happened.

Of course, I'm going on what the poster said -- I've not personally looked.

Griff, have you heard of Paul Laffoley? Now a well-known New York artist and futurist, he was an architect who worked briefly for Emory Roth & Sons, designing floors 15-45 of the South Tower. He said in two interviews with Mike Hagan on his Radio Orbit show

Well, usually when people have to resort to name calling, it means they have nothing left to debate with and have lost the debate.

To me, it's not a matter of winning or loosing for your side. It's a matter of finding the truth. If that truth leads me to the official version, then so be it. I don't find that kind of thinking with the "debunkers".

Yes, I've heard of this before. Can you sum up how it was accomplished? I can't listen to things at work and am rarely on the comp at home (not because I don't want to but I need a life also).

I totally agree with you there. I am just trying to point out when you look at the list of supporters debunkers are filling it up with fictitious names as well as real people like bin laden.

Someone coming to the site for the first time and sees the list of supporters and you have Barney Rubble of Bedrock listed as engineer it takes away all credibility imo.

They need to be able to screen and verify who is signing up as a supporter.

Oh. I wasn't aware that they were actually adding those names to the list of members. Wow. How childish do debunkers need to be? I mean really.

I think that goes to show-on that site -Anyone can be whatever they want to be, without any credential checking at all.

I agree some of the juvenile additions are out of line.

I would have been more subtle.
