I think the OP is the real plague to the movement. somebody comes forward on your behalf and you complain about her attitude.

I'm not complaining about Rosie's attitude so much as I'm reporting on the direct and immediate result of her actions. The mainstream media is now taking Rosie and is deliberately on a campaign to associate WTC7 with Rosie O'Donnell. It's like Pavlov ringing a bell for his dogs at dinner time. Pretty soon you won't be able to mention WTC7 without an image of Rosie O'Donnell being attached to it.

And if you think Rosie is coming forward on anybody's behalf but her own you probably need to take a step back and look at the big picture. When this whole episode is over with, "The View" will probably be cancelled, anybody questioning WTC7 will be marginalized, and Rosie will be getting high fives from all of her liberal friends who hate Bush anyway.

If there is any "plague to the movement" it's Bush-haters who parrot even the most ridiculous and superficial disinformation about 9/11 just to be able to attack the neocons.

The far-left doesn't need convincing, and the far-right isn't going to listen anyway. It's the 80% of the people in the middle who need to demand that the hard questions, especially about WTC7, be answered. Rosie's outbursts are only going to make it harder to wake up the 80% in the middle.

Here's a quote from Larry Silverstein-

"I remember getting a call from the, er, fire department commander, telling me that they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, and I said, 'We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it.' And they made that decision to pull and we watched the building collapse."

Those radio dj's are wrong they are controlled by the big money holders so don't believe them. They just want us sheep to believe the offical story.

"pull it" is firefighter lingo for pull your men from the building. You conspiracy theorists don't need a Rosie wacko where this issue is concerned...you do enough yourselves, by printing misinformation and regurgitating that over and over.

Rosie can say all she wants. Someone has too. Do I question her motives? ....of course. Could she hurt the truth movement? ....of course. But with a vast daytime audience her words are going to reasonate long term with many, many Americans , particularly women. The realities are that any celeb who attempts to address 9/11 will get run through the predictable mill. As an American I have to appreciate the courage it takes to speak truth to power. Asking someone to stfu is mandating the complicity you've already relagated yourself to.

If I wasn't clear about this in my original post, I would rather have her stfu and just SHOW THE WTC7 VIDEO! She doesn't need to keep interjecting what SHE thinks about anything, especially the dumb comments about fire not being able to melt steel, etc.

No matter what Rosie says, good/bad its still in my opinion better than those who do little or no questioning. At least she is bringing this to the attention of the American people which is the important part. As long as it get them intersested and searching on thier own, than she has done more than most. They don't have to agree with what she says but as long as it gets the ball rolling to discover for themselves whether or not they do, is enough in my opinion.

BUZZZZ

I thought "pull it" was a demolisinists lingo. I think for the firemens' talk to get of of a building is "pull out"

Why do you think the building collasped so fast and ontop of itself within 9-10 seconds?

an open letter where the first paragraph is nothing but insults. That will go far.

Was anyone on TV talking about this before O'Donnell. I don't remember anyone.

Having Rosie O'Donnell be associated not just with 9/11 truth, but specifically with WTC7 is a disaster. WTC7 is the single most compelling aspect of 9/11 that would get even the most die hard government apologist to stop and question what happened. But if Rosie continues to be the face of WTC7, the whole story is going to be marginalized; anybody parroting the questions raises about WTC7 is going to be labeled a nut case.

Has anyone ever considered that Rosie may be involved? It's amazing what money and career promises can make people do.

Rosie parrots misinformation that she gets from CT sites without even being intelligent or educated enough to know if what she's saying makes any sense.

She repeatedly claimed that WTC7 was the first time in history that fire melted steel, and she wants to get a physicist from Harvard or Yale to come on the show to corroborate this "fact."

I have been involved in enough discussions here to believe that most ATS members realize that fire can melt steel. In fact, most ATS members understand that whether or not fire can melt steel is totally irrelevant. What is relevant is why even a weakened steel building would collapse simultaneously and symmetrically.

Unfortunately, even if WTC7 gets any media attention from "The View" it's going to have the baggage of Rosie attached to it. This whole Rosie controversey started when she implied that the U.S. troops were terrorists rather than the Islamic jihadists. Whether or not her point had validity is not relevant -what is relevant is the mainstram media has used her comments to demonize her, and everything she espouses.

If you want people to learn the truth about 9/11 you don't open the discussion with a controversial, divisive, political comment. Start with the facts and let the facts lead people to the truth. Once they know the truth, people are smart enough to form their own political opinions.

some people here (not pointing at you YIAWETA) are trying to say that there is a conspiracy to shut Rosie up so POTUS scheduled it for the same time as The View :shk:

That's insane. The View would just show what they want the next day.
The White House knows that. It's common sense.

Presidents schedule news conferences all the time. I'm very sure that POTUS doesn't have his daily schedule worked out around Rosie O'Donnel.

what I think is halarious is when all the truth haters out there try to explain this away by saying, "Later he said that he was talking about the firefighters ... that they needed to "pull" the firefighters out."

well, then why didn't he say "'We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it.' And the firefighters evacuated the building and it later collapsed."?

Mr. Silverstein obvioulsy put his foot in his mouth by recalling events that actually happened with events that were "suppose" to happen. I guess billions of dollars will do that to you.

Watch the Larry Silverstein video...

Larry Silverstein on PBS

HE CLEARLY SAID PULL THE BUILDING. NOT PULL MEN OUT. PULL IT? HE REFERS TO FIGHTERFIGHTERS AS IT? WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?

"Pull it" is a demolition term for demolition a building, anyone who works in demolition will tell you that. They even yell "PULL IT!" before they take down a building.

Face facts people, the twin towers and WTC7 were imploded and taken down by demolition. The proof shows it, the video proof of the collapse shows it, the owners admission proves it, what is wrong with you close minded people, your so in fear, your so in fear that you might be wrong and your government really is not there to help you. Your like scared little children, clinging to a security blanket to hide from reality. What are you doing still supporting this government? Id like someone to answer that.

Leyla,

What did they pull when they said they were going to pull 'it'?

'In case of bad fire, break glass pull string hard and run like heck!'

she is stronger than you are, and that makes you feel shallow inside, i understand.

She may not have your so powerfull brain, but she has balls, and if you helped her with her brain, im sure she will help you grow some balls.

good luck

I'd put my money on FlyersFan any time. And I think I'd like her just the way she is, without balls, thank you.

Did yall forget that two big ass planes hit the WTC buildings? I mean honestly, terrorist attack us, shed American blood on American soil and instead of uniting as a nation we want to belittle our leadership at every angle and come up with ludicrous flights of fancy that we did it to ourselves? Well that disgusts me. And that disrespects every person that lost thier life on that day.

Do I beleive every decision our president makes is a good one? No. He's human like every one of us. To think that my country can be blindsided by a group of extremist, and my brother and sister Americans response is to blame our government is just too much. Conspiracy can only go so far. Have some decency.
