One Arrested, Others Detained at NY Airports

At least one man claiming to be a pilot has been arrested and up to nine others detained in at least two of New York's three area airports, as officials probed the possibility some of those held were carrying knives, tickets booked for flights Tuesday morning and might be hijackers.

The arrest and detainments caused the immediate closure of all three of the city's airports, which had opened just hours earlier. Peter Yerkes, a spokesman for the Port Authority, which runs the airports, said planes in the air were being allowed to land, but no planes were allowed to take off. The hold went into effect shortly before 5 p.m.

A source knowledgable of the workings of the airline industry said the man arrested at John F. Kennedy International Airport checked in sometime between noon and 4 p.m. The man was trying to board American Airlines flight 299 bound for San Jose.

The man had been scheduled for an earlier flight on Tuesday bound for Los Angeles, but that flight was canceled after the terrorist attack began on the World Trade Center, the source said. A subsequent strip search found the man had a pilot's certificate from a Florida school, the source said.

The FBI was already investigating whether an altercation at Kennedy Airport on Tuesday was linked to the World Trade Center explosion, a law enforcement source told The Associated Press on Thursday.

Isnt that proof enough? even if they were not "INSERT NATIONALITY HERE" doent it make it more credible that this plan was carried out by more than a dozen amateur pilots?

Of course it didn't mention it at that early date, but we now know, don't we? Those five Israelis spent 2 1/2 freakin' months in the federal detention facility in Manhattan, so why are you trying to fool people into thinking that we don't know if they were "Jews, Arabs, or Japanese"!?

Also...does ANY of this relate to the 93 bombings? also used a 'van' parked in the basement(?) of one of the towers. '93; Six people were killed. At least 1,040 others were injured. The towers were not destroyed as Yousef intended. However, the WTC’s architect would later tell jurors that if the van had been left closer to the poured concrete foundations, the plan would have succeeded and the tower would have fallen.

Maybe was a test run for the 'big event'?

Also, could the towers have been brought down using high level explosive-packed trucks in the basements of the towers, in corilation with devices IN the towers, (?placed in by these guys working on the "sprinkler system"...)

Instead of your very biased opinion, why don't you point out what you think is wrong in that site? Or is that too much for you?

I'm going to start counting how many times an OTCer comes in and actually either A) watches the whole video before posting their opinion. B) Backs their opinion up with facts and/or physics. or C) Posts a post that doesn't include an opinionated bunch of garbage.

After 911 there were numerous reports of Israelis in moving vans being apprehended in sensitive areas coming in frequently from all around the country. I remember one case where police captured them in a van after a high speed chase. Two israelis were even captured with bombs in the Mexican Congress. All of these reports were immediately disappeared from the news as was the huge story of the Israeli "art student" spy gang, the largest spy gang ever busted in the USA - and they were living on the same block as those boozing, drugging, whoring "islamic fanatic" hijackers!

Something like this is right in your face and critical! Where is it? Where is that video that those Mossadniks took? Where are the 83 surveillance videos of the Pentagon? Where are all the 911 airport surveillance videos? Where are the 911 ATC-plane tapes? Where are the records of the interrogation of the Mossad camera crew at MCC for the 2 1/2 months that they were held? Where are the records of the interrogations of the metal detector checkpoint personnel who let all those alleged hijackers through their checkpoints on 911 with all their hijack gear - guns, bombs, mace, gas masks, navigational equipment, knives, boxcutters - all mentioned in various official reports (they used to stop me because i forgot a single coin in my pocket, or a rivet on my shoes set off their sensitive metal detectors - I'm talking about pre-911!); where is the spy-in-the-sky satellite images for 911? Where are the complete records of those alleged 911 cell phone calls, including the bills? Where are the original passenger manifests? Why do they try to tell us that they "accidentally" shredded the post-911 ATC debriefing tapes? Where are the ATC's who were on duty on 911?

These things are primary and critical! Going on about holograms and all the rest of that nonsense is just diversionary!
