1991 NT eclipse - complete pos
1994 Honda Del Sol S - my first Honda I loved this car, wish I still had it
1980 Chevy Monte Carlo - was 4 different colors ghetto pimp machine
1999 Honda Civic hx - damn good car which I had kept it
1991 CRX dx - pos but it had low mileage

Heres my list

1) 1979 MK1 Golf CL - I was only 16 at the time had no licence, was a project but never got it on the road.

2) 1989 MK2 Golf Driver - got this car 2 weeks after passing my driving test at 17. Eventually made to look like a very convincing GTI.

3) 1989 MK2 Golf Rallye G60 - In my opinion, the most beautiful golf VW ever made only 5000 all hand built in Austria. At 18 years of age this car cost me £3000 under my Dad's name just to insure it.

4) 1990 BMW E30 316 coupe - Lovely car still love the old beemers I done around 40k miles in a year with no problems.

5) 1990 BMW E30 318is coupe - This car was brilliant. It was the first double overhead cam BMW ever produced and was designed to get good performance out of a small engine to compete with the hot hatches of the time.

6) 1998 VW Polo 1.0l - This is the kind of car you need to get when you take out a mortgage on a house, cutting my motering costs by two thirds instantly but I blew the engine because I thought I was still driving a 1.8 supercharged Golf.

7) 1997 Alfa Romeo GTV 2.0 Twinspark - What a stunner, I loved it I think its one of the best bargains out there, fully loaded and it looks stunning.

8) Currently 2003 Renault Clio 1.2 16v Billabong - Excellent little car, nippy and practical for the family, great extras like auto headlights etc...

thats my lot, hopefully if things ease up Im looking at a Maserati for my next baby but time will tell.

1) 1980 Chevy Monza 2+2. Blown out suspension and no power.

2) 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger Special. Slant six, 1bbl carb. Snapped a tie rod.

3) 1988 Pontiac Sunbird. Ugh.

4) 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse base model. Most people didn't even know there was a base model ie, not even a GS model.

5) 1997 Infiniti J30t. Loved it, favorite car, but wrecked it.

6) 1999 Acura Integra GS. Fun to drive, but needed more room.

7) 2003 Mazda Protege5. Great car and I still have it.

1. 74 Vega Station wagon--I technically didn't own this car, but it was purchased for me when I was in first grade. It's what I first learned auto mechanics on, eventually it was taken back to the wreckin yard after my brother and neighbor kid smashed the window with a hammer.

2. 72 El Camino--Good car, bought it for $300 when I was 16, didn't run, Had plans to restore it, found out it had a corvette 327 in it, sold it for a loss @ $150 because I worked and Mc D's and couldn't afford to fix it. (I cleaned it every weekend and sat in it though)

3. 81 Chrysler Lebaron--This car was technically my fathers car, but I was responsible for everything. It was a former Texas undercover Narcotics car. Had the lights and window stickers still on it. (We had moved to washington state by then) It had a Slant-6, which to this day is the most bulletproof 6 cyl. I have ever seen. I don't think I knew what an oil change was. I added custom wheels, and a new tape deck (Woot!), home speaker boxes in the back that were loud enough it broke my trunk lock. Drove it for a couple years and hit a deer with it at 10mph in the winter. Stupid deer tried to jump the hood. Only broke half the front grille and one headlight. Went to a weekend trip doing something with friends and came back to this.........

4. 86 Isuzu Trooper-- Amazing little truck. Wasn't fond of it particularly, but learned to drive a stick with it in the dead of winter on top of the mountains in
Washington state. Added a few off road accessories and my first "Professional sound system". Traded it off two years after HS graduation for

5. 71 Chevy C10 Pickup-- Long bed, lowered, moon eyes, original paint/interior. Mean little truck. Ran great for a few weeks till it burnt a valve out as I drove to California (Moved again) Spent 6 months rebuilding the 350 small block, edelbrock performance everything (my first performance motor). Sold a year and a half later due to gas prices in Cali. Bought a...........

6. 96 Honda Civic DX sedan-- Bought from a used car lot with 60k on the odo. Great car......Blew a rod out the front of the block just 10 miles from my house. Spent 6 months building an SI motor for it from a hopped up CRX I got from a friend as partial trade for my custom rims. Got motor together, crank ended up being bad, had to scrap motor. Swapped out for another V-tec motor, Have over 12K in performance/race parts invested in it, still have it, currently setting it up for Road coarse racing on asphalt.

7. 91 Honda civic Sedan--Bought this car from a friend when I was in the process of building the engine for my 96. Had 250K miles on it. Ran great. Had shaved doorhanddles, lowered, real custom. Sold it to a friend before I made the move to Michigan, was sent a notice a month later that the car had been impounded. Never heard from him/car again. Still have the old title. (Couldn't find it at the time)

8. 71 Olds cutlass 'S' coupe-- Bought this car for $400 to restore as a muscle car. Got the body off the frame to far more rust than I can describe. Scrapped the car, kept all the good parts.

9. 04 Colorado--The only vehicle I ever bought new, still have it, second person in town to buy one. Special sport model, factory lowered 2", painted all black, had american racing wheels custom make me a set of billet 20"aluminum wheels for this truck when rims weren't available. Professionally installed my own (I used to do it) custom stereo system. 2 15" Orion subs and a 1,500 Watt Memphis amp. I only have 26K miles on this truck.

10. 71 Cutlass 'S' coupe-- Bought my second cutlass project for 1,500 from a lady, drove it home, arizona car, runs great, much better start than my previousmodel. Currently under complete restoration

11. 74 Chevy Crew cab dually-- Bought this for $700, rusted farm truck, frame and all great, motor great, couldn't find a cab, ended up scrapping truck. Only salvagable body parts were two front doors. I had access to other parts, but the cab was almost impossible to find. I was going to use it to haul my other cars.

12. 80 Cutlass t-top--Bought this because someone stuck a big block olds 455 in it. Pulled out the big block, currently building a small block olds to use this car as a cruiser on the weekends

13. Newest aquire--88 Honda civic--I'm building this car for a B18 integra motor for running the local dirt track.

Wow, I spend too much money on cars.

hmmmm...

OK i had:

1) 1983 Mazda 323 1.5
Was a gift from Mom and Dad - went fine

2) 1985 Ford Sierra 2.0
Dad sold the Mazda and gave me this

3) 1993 Ford Telstar 2.0
Bought from my Dad - he was in an accident and offender wrote my dad's Ford Falcon XR6 off so i gave it to him rather than him buying a new car while on pension

4) 2003 Mercedes 230 Coupe (bought new)
Bought this to replace the Ford Telstar

5) 2005 Subaru Impreza Sport Wagon (Bought new)
Wanted to build a house so sold the Merc and bought a cheaper car

6) 2004/5 Kia Cerato 1.6 (bought new for wife)
My wife moved cities to be with me before we married and sold her car so i bought her this just before we got married - 2 weeks before in fact

Not a huge list but due to the prices of cars in South Africa it is a logical explanation LOL

In no particular order and probably missing a few:

  1. 74' Nova, fine FINE ride.

  2. 75' Camaro, burgandy with gold racing stripes, custom mirror sunroof, gold rallys, best driving thing I ever sat down in and that's no joke.

  3. 74' Dodge stepside pickup, lowered in front, offset wheels and tires, largest on rear of course. And under the hood a monstrous slant six.

  4. 74' Dodge fleetside with a 318, I loved that truck. Man was that ever a sweet riding truck.

  5. 80 something puke brown Dodge stationwagon.

  6. Ford Pinto, no idea what year it was, blaze orange paint and the same color interior, it was a pumpkin on wheels. I shi* you not.

  7. 96 or something red Beretta.

  8. 80 something Oldsmobile Omega that would absolutely scream, I left a lot of tread with that one. Man there was no sweeter sound than opening up that four barrel carb.

  9. 80 something Oldsmobile something another, some small car.

  10. 80 something Chevette, total piece of crap. Had an 8-ball for a gear stick and a rebel flag for a headliner when I bought it.

  11. 90 something Plymouth, small car.

  12. 90 something Chrysler, semi-luxury something another.

  13. 84' Accord, best car overall that I ever had in my life.

I have a question ... is there any way to check the vehicles you have had registered in your name online? I would have to do that, since I have owned quite a few and would most likely leave out some

Thanks in advance
I am rather certain it tops 20 vehicles as daily drivers since 15 (including household cars that I would drive daily in other family members names).

Bummer! NSX's are a rarity..

1991 Mustang LX 5.0

Full exhaust, Pulleys, A/C eliminator kid, True Ram Air, Aluminum Drive Shaft, 3:73 fears/8.8 rear end, B&M Shift Kit..

Favorite car I've ever owned. That thing was a beast! It was easily one of the cleanest 5.0's in the valley until I was hit and run by a guy who was, presumably drunk. They never found the guy, and as far as I'm concerned, never really tried...

1991 Mustang LX 5.0

Same car except stock except for the ram air unit and flow master cat back. It was like getting a new girlfriend and obsessing about your last one.. I was hit again by an illegal alien with no insurance, no drivers license and sold it to a friend of mine for 800 bucks..

2004 Subaru WRX

Rally Blue, 2.0L Turbo. All stock and for $ale.

2004 Subaru STI

Black, 2.5L Also stock.. My brother and I split payment. It's about to be his though, seeing as how I'm leaving.

Lets see

1972 Huffy with bannana seat- Sweet ride....especially with the ace of spades taped firmly to the front fork..ohhhh and the goofy 6 foot tall red flag on the back that my dad said I HAD to have for my own safety.

Go carts count?

1972 Monte Carlo- First car. Bought it on my 16th B-day with my own money. Promptly wrecked it. LOL

1981 Monte Carlo- Black on Black. Sister stole it. Never saw it again. No more Montes after that. Bad Juju.

1980 Grand Prix- Black with leather interior. T-tops. Supposedly rebuilt engine. Biggest piece of junk.

1985 Toyota pick up- Best running little truck I ever had. Put 100k on it wit out the slightest problem. Very hard to cram a 6'4 frame into it though.

1995 Dodge Ram- Knew things were bad when the oil change tech exclaimed "DUDE YOU HAVE GOT TO SEE THIS!!!" from under my truck

1997 Dodge Ram- First new vehicle ever. Promptly bought back under lemon law. No more Dodges...Bad Juju

2001 Ford F150 Super Crew- Best Truck I ever owned. Fire engine red. Should have never gotten rid of it. Dumb..stupid..stupid

1990 Jeep TJ- Ran good. Fun off road. Me and my daughter had fun with the top off running down trails. Again hard to cram 6'4 in 5'5 space..lol

2004 Nissan Titan- Good truck. Hate the people that sell em ohh and Nissan customer no service.

1) 72 Blue Buick Sport Wagon with a V8 and power window, yeah one rear power window and an awesome roof rack. Died of a thrown rod.

2) 87 Red Corvette Convertible loaded, I really wanted Yellow. Traded it in.

3) 76 Blue Malibu with a crappy 302 V8, died of oil starvation.

4) 89 Red Corvette Convertible, yeah, yeah, I know another one, yellow still wasn't available. I did drop a Lingenfelter 383 into this thing, it ran the quarter at 12.19@125mph. Sold in 2006 to a good friend with only 35k on it.

5) 84 Tan Malibu with a V6. This thing lasted forever. I bought it with 75k on it and the odometer stopped at 150k, I still had it two years later when I sold it for $400. At the end it leaked so much fluid from everywhere we called the 'Malibu Valdez'.

6) 90 Yellow Corvette Convertible. Finally got one. Only 257 made that year and only the week that I oredered mine. Gotta love syncronicity. Sold in 2004 with only 12k on it.

7) 64 White Corvette Convertible. I restored it myself and got the second highest award given out at the national Corvette show. Sold it in 2004 after it was in the Macys' parade.

8) 91 Maroon Horizon, this peice of crap lasted 3 weeks before the timing chain quit. Did I mention it was a piece of crap?

9) 94 Red Regal, for what I paid it lasted awhile. Died a slow miserable death from everything.

10) 2003 Blue C230, couldn't stand it and brought it back. Waaaaay to small for me.

11) 2004 E500, nice car, fast as my Corvette and it had all kinds of junk I didn't need. Lease expired in 2007.

12) 2007 E350. My current car. Has all the goodies of the last car but I don't have to put super in it. Well, actually I am but it runs on plus, hah.

Somehow I feel I should post my favorite cars we had when I was a kid. My all time favorite was a ‘72 Electra 225. I used to literally sleep on the rear deck while we were on road trips. I’ve had efficiency apartments smaller than the back seat. When my older brother became intolerable, I could always sit on the arm rest between the front buckets and breath in my dad’s second hand smoke. That car died on Thanksgiving night of ’77 on the way back from grandmas house. There was a wreck on the Loop 12 bridge over the Trinity river, we stopped before we hit the guy trapped under a car in front of us, but the drunk youngsters behind us didn’t see us, and pushed that huge trunk all the way up past the back seat. It was my first experience with the ‘suspended time’ that occurs with car wrecks. That collision in my current car would have killed us all.

Next was a couple years earlier, in my mom’s 65 Skylark. It had no A/C, and black vinyl seats which would literally sear your flesh on hot summer days, but somehow we just didn’t care back then, and we used towels to sit on. It ran without a problem for a decade, and looked damn good to boot. Still my mom’s all time favorite car. Well, other than her ‘04 Eldorado. I can't imagine going without AC now.

I should also mention our ‘76 LTD. It was a two door which meant that parking on an incline required two or three people to open/close the 150 lb. doors. This was a true land yacht, and it ended up in the hands of my older brother as his first car, and boy did we put it to good use. Talk about a rolling party, we could put 10 people in that tank, and he installed the then cutting edge technology of a cassette player with an amp, an equalizer, and four, yes count them, four speakers! 2112, Wish you were here, Physical Graffiti, and Fragile were high in the rotation. Those were the days.

I drive a 'pale' horse -- the 1996 silver Ford Mustang. The old timer is starting to make lots of stinky gaseous smell, runs rough on idle and is in good condition overall. This is the only vehicle I've ever owned and has since been paid-off. It waits at the stall, err, I meant on the driveway for me to take it for a ride.
