Dire Straits is great! I still think "Making Movies" is a top 100 album of all time. This reminds me of the 80's.

Sounds like you are taking care of the sis, music wise anyway! The 80's were so bad and good...I now realize how much I liked was beyond terrible, but got a lot of good stuff out of it too...here is a mix of that...ok, maybe these are all god awful now...

The ALL were too sexy for their clothes it seems! Edit to add: the PIL video is Johhny Rotton from Sex Pistols. The Tubes are Canadian, I think. Adam Ant is just terrible.

These guys were under the radar but are a fun, easy listen. Give 'em a chance ( in an 80's mindset, of course)

Yes...they skeer me too!! Lol...not on my current list to listen to but it is the 80's thread and Al J aka ministry is a texas guy...I remember this in college...very dated now...

Sweet additions...the 80's were great because nothing was sacred...here are a few non-sacred ones I found in interest of this thread...as with all songs, you may need to hear it once or twice to really hear the bs going on..
