Seems that Balducci is not the only outspoken member of the Vatican.

Incidentally Padre Pio died in 1968, proving that the idea of extraterrestrials has been around in the Church for a very long time, and more importantly, not hushed up by the Pope.

Let's not.. I think they made the right decision by banning him and even his brother admits that it was the best choice. Let's just let this sail quietly into the night and be forgotten

I had a feeling Shadoww was on the road to ruin... This is thread stands as a classic example of the D-ego run amuk (see my signature for details).

When discussing these issues it is important to never forget the person you may think is ignorant because he disagrees with you may actually know what's going on.

NEVER ASSUME your theory is RIGHT, ALWAYS ASSUME your theory is WRONG and try to disprove it. If you can't disprove it, it may be a hypothesis, from there you can go forth to prove it and it may blossom into a TRUTH.

Ignore an ATS member = ignorance. If you can't handle the truth or mature debate then you can't handle ATS. IMO.

BTW, if any mod has sore muscles from holding all those ATS points up and are looking for someone to take some off your hands then I know someone (me) who will gladly help, wont brag about them in threads, wont U2U others and gloat over them, and will promise to only spend them at the ATS store.

Trying to stay on "topic", for what its worth, I wont believe to much of the Vatican coming out with "new" disclosure info until the Pope or someone currently working there, who's on the current Vatican directory and "shows" some ET evidence that I am sure they must have in their archives.

With that said what ever happened MaynardIt who claimed he was from Italy.? He joined made one perhaps two posts then poof.

The reason I ask is; I was hoping if he did in fact live in Italy he could help continue the topic by making a local phone call and confirm if the individual is on staff at the Vatican should the question ever come up again. As it stands now no one knows for sure, if he is currently on staff.

I am not talking in the past because shadoww gave the impression he still was even though everything else pointed us towards stories and TV appearances held 8 years ago.

One would think someone living in Italy even if they did not know anyone at the Vatican could determine that or perhaps know someone who works at the Vatican yeah never know. Lets hope he comes back but I suspect he will not.. just what he said in the one post in this thread sounded like shadoww or a friend trying to bust his side of his agenda.

Why would the vatican let one of their officials say that EBE's/UFO's are real. Surely if the vatican doesn't have this view why would they let an official talk about it

I would tend to think that just like anywhere else what their officials say is considered as free speech and their own opinion to which the Vatican thinks they are entitled.


The best way to look at is like this. Senators/Congress members speak out against US policy all the time when they disagree with it or some may agree with it, all considered as free speech.

It is in the Vatican’s interest for officials to be outspoken, it strengthens the intelligent design/creator argument. If there are lifeforms on other planets then someone created them also.

Just a thought.
