What Makes You Think So?

Aliens are the new Jesus. Like Jesus people are going to predict their coming constantly. They will not be here on 2012 saving the world. Even as we grind into the eventual Third World War that will take place at some point they will not show up. They are the Modern false Messiah and like all false Messiahs there will be false prophecies and hopes. These will never be fulfilled ever. The UFO cults and religions will adapt just as every other faith has adapted to failed prophecies. They will grow and probably supplant other faiths, esepecially monotheism at some point. Still though their prophecies will fail.

I will laugh my head off, if nothing happens on 2012. I'll just have to wait until that day and see what happens.

That's a couple of things I can agree on - people are looking at aliens like some kind of salvation - 'when will they land and solve all our problems...they can download the bad guys for us.....la la la la la la - First off - there is more to a human soul than one job by which to judge them, perhaps for that reason they may have no intention of landing and solving all of our problems.
And besides, from all reports - it sounds like some of these guys would make the situation a whole lot worse.
Aliens have been linked with Jesus, for a while now - plus demons and faeries and every other mysterious order. Not the mention the current controversy about Fatima. Which calls to mind the old ditty - patience is a virtue, possess it if you can, seldom in a woman, and never in a man. tehheh
But that's besides the point. What makes me believe they're here? I don't know what to believe, but one day I saw some strange little skittering characters, the tops of their heads - and the color wasn't familiar to me.
They banged the deck under my feet - a cryptic message, but it worked.
If you view the earth like a school and stay open to messages from different things - I'm pretty sure you've already established a relationship with whatever sentience shares our universe.

I've no doubt there's more to the world than I know.

My dad has been interested in these things since the early 60s, and now that he is approaching 80 years old, it's unlikely that he will live to see any kind of explanation. That's a shame. But there are people who have had an interest in other mysteries for even longer periods of time who also will never see them solved.

Such is our fate as mortals.

If there are aliens out there (and at this point there is absolutely no proof of them), they could show up next year, the year 2012, or the year 20,012, by which time we will all be long dead dust.
