What Makes You Think So?

Aside from the pseudo-psychics (which I do not place any faith in), what is it that makes those of you who believe in Alien visitation think that it's to happen soon??

I listened to Coast to Coast the other night with David Sereda, there was nothing really new on it, and other than his promotion of his new 4 hour movie, I was not all that impressed. Believe me, I wanted to be........alas, I was left bored.

Again and again, somebody claims that this year or next year or whatever year, is the year that 'They' are coming.....why? What is it that makes you think so? Is there any evidence to support the claims? Is there an interstellar alarm clock that is about to go off?

Please do not even bother quoting a psychic, I flat out think they are the minions of the devil or are just snake-oil salespeople! Either way, I won't put any validity to their claims...sorry, just my opinion!

The whole aliens landing on the whitehouse lawn thing.. Other life visits this planet on a daily basis, it has been happening for a long long time. Mass disclosure will happen when the time is right, or when enough people force the governments into a corner over it.

There is the potential for a staged alien vs human war, in order to foster fear about 2012, which is probably why alternative culture promotes the idea of UFOs and Aliens, the grays and reptilians etc etc... As we get closer to 2012 we will be seeing more orbs/plasmas, more crop circles, more things we can't explain, and in order to confuse people the idea that aliens will reveal themselves is promoted, despite other life coming to earth all the time, and bein recorded back through our entire history!

A lot of people believe that something will happen in 2012. Whether it be astral or an alien visitation. I'm not sure why people believe that something will happen, but there is a lot og hype and people have stated that there may be an increase in said ufos.

People believe this will happen soon because we are a culture that has to see reslults "now" We can't imagine not finding things out in our lifetime. So we assume that it will have to happen soon.

This is all just a prodcut of our society not being able to wait for anything IMO.

So I take it that you believe the whole 2012 ascension, aliens being revealed soon is just a bunch of nonsence?

No I don't. I think the 2012 business is a load of crap.

I think aliens have been, and continue, to visit us on a regular basis. I also think that mass knowledge of this may NEVER occur. I just think people come out with all these prophecies because they can't imagine NOT finding out the truth.

While I do agree with you on the fact that we live in a "must know" society, I don't believe that there are that many people out there making up stories or prophecies to deal with the fact that we may not find out answers to our questions.

I believe that the 2012 thing may have some credence to it. I admit that I don't know what it is or if it has anything to do with aliens, but some people "feel" something is happening or that something will change soon.

The truth is self evident though, it just depends on how long it takes you to realise this. Some people die and never even consider the idea that death is not the end, consciousness is eternal.. There is more than enough evidence available to show you that life does exist after death. Society down plays it because thats what the NWO has always wanted...the control over religion with just one...which we ALREADY HAVE. The Newtonian-Darwinian-Atheistic-Democratic society.

The truth is coming out fast. Top scientists are now revising the theory of how reality works, and turning over to the idea of quantum theory, rather than the mindset we have now of life being a spectacular accident.

The pyramids are a prime example of "prohecy" sitting right infront of you, and not knowing what you are seeing. Ever wondered why stargate sg1 uses the pyramids as alien spaceships?? or why the illuminati has the pyramid and capstone?? The pyramids are truth in plain site. Evidence of advanced civilization existing, despite the idea that we are at the peak of our species now.

Various shamans and natives have known about 2012 long before it came out in the newage stage. The Mayan caldenar goes back a long time also.

I knew it was just a matter of time before someone threw out the NWO in this.

That seems to be peoples one thing to throw out when someone has a different opinion than they do. "Oh, that's exactly what the NWO wants"

Give me a break. Not everything is a product of your so called New World Order.

Are you saying that the pyramids that stand today were created by an ancient alien civilization?

My question would be, If an ancient alien civilization created them and were on Earth creating structures, then why didn't they leave us any other signs that would be obvious and say "Hey, we were here for a while, this is what we did, and now we are leaving again."

To do what? Erase the fact that aliens have visited to controll the world?

Why would the fact that there is intelligent life other than on earth, hurt or help the NWO agenda?

If you notice the previous couple of posts you will notice I am joking about the NWO bit. The "NWO" has nothing to do with this.

Well, What else do you want to talk about then?

Being that I am fairly new to this forum, I am some what reluctant to put forth an idea that has been on my mind for some time, never-the less. For years I have noticed that we humans get just what we ask for and expect.

As we were interring the 20th century, we wanted mobility, in all it's forms, and we got the auto and airplane. Later we wanted the absolute power, and we got 'the bomb'. Still later we got the moon, in a manner of speaking. It seems to be that when enough people truly want something, it happens.

First it is imagined, often by fiction, and then we go on to make the fiction real.This has come true in so many fields that it is hard not to notice. As an example, in the old Star Trek there were these hand held communication units. Now we all have them. Just the other day I read where someone at a university (in Japan?) had managed to move several million atoms from one spot to another via a form of teleportation, and while that's not yet a "Beam me up Scotty" device, it's a start.

As strange as it sounds, once an idea comes along, no matter how far out it is, sooner or later it comes true. There are many instances of people in diverse locations, and unaware of each other, developing very similar ideas and inventions. The implications are that all things are possible, and equally probable.

Does that mean that enough people expect ET, he'll show up? Based on the way past events have performed, I would have to say yes. We have reached a point where we truthfully expect it. These forums are a prime example of that expectation. The fact that there are so many skeptics here is in it's own way a reinforcement of that.

In most arenas the skeptic is a transitory figure, usually only rearing his head to make remarks when called upon by some third party. Yet, in the UFO community, this is a fulltime job for many. It reminds me of a group of children where one holds back from what he considers dangerous and protests the worthlessness of an adventure, knowing all the while that he will lose to the majority and be forced to go along.

We seem to create the future, in every sense of the word. I for one, look forward to the ride.

I don't see alien visitation anytime soon either. Why? People are to paranoid, deceitful, greedy, corrupt, obsessed with religion, violent just to name a few. Think about it if we were exploring the universe and discovered a race such as us would you make contact with them. No we would just observe safely from a distance.
Look at our history nothing but war based primarily on religion and greed. Is this the kinda of species you would want to make contact with?

But why if they are "watching from a safe distance" would they risk being found out by visiting our Earth and being seen?

The year is irrelevant for the most part, but it is a helpful reminder that we must hurry our ass and change our way of thinking or basically the world will destroy us.

That is the main theme behind the 2011/12 depending on which interpretation you use "consciousness" upgrade. I don't think it means that every single person in the world changes their way of thinking overnight. However, once a majority of people have decided that we need to be acting appropriately toward the place we live, then we will be different. It is called CONSCIOUS evolution.

We would have changed our ways with a proper nonviolent channel that stripped governments of their power and gave direct power to every single person on the planet. The individual really would matter and we wouldn't have representative governments that say "do as I say not as I act."

Hypocrisy in politics would end...Is that such a bad place to look forward to? Wouldn't you like to live in a place you actually WANTED to be as opposed to one FORCED upon you?

You have to change your way of thinking with you on an individual scale. Inform your friends, family, neighbors, stranger, and anyone else you can afterwards. One person at a time really means something, don't be fooled by majority rules. The people can unite, if you want them to.

I agree that an intelligence whether it be "ET" or terrestrial other than "human" including Spirits (ghosts), other dimensional entities, Angels, Devas, whatever you want to call them.

Does this mean we're being exposed to something new?

The whole "ET" visitor implies that its a new thing, which I agree is not.

I can attribute firsthand experience on "orbs," MerKabah "craft", and so on.

I am an empath, Reiki healer, and hypersensitive to the environment.

Sure the scientific research alone is worth the risk, besides there is no solid evidence other than testimony from credible people that they have visited the planet.
