Hi Marker,

I’m in Tallaght, My apartment is pretty high up and I face North/East, East and South – a big Corner type apartment (can see Howth too). Get a good View so I can see all From Howth all the way round to Wicklow Mts.

What I seen, I seen it out at the Sea (more over Dún Laoghaire
way) and have also seen it towards Wicklow Mt’s.

At first I thought it was a Planet/Large Star but then they way it was coming and going, plus it would move, but then go back to where it was – which a Star or Plant doesn’t do in the same night.

I personally have never seen a ufo, and I spend the majority of my time outside at work and have only seen planes and helicopters. At night I have spent hundreds of hours observing the night sky and have only seen shooting stars. I do my best to look for them but have yet to have any luck. However I do know people who have seen them and I believe them. Who knows though maybe tonight will be my lucky night. As soon as it gets dark enough I'll be outside with my telescope, a bottle of hennessy, and some smoke chillin out till the wee hours of the morning with a few friends watching the stars as my name implies

I was living in howth at the time, Im now in Glasnevin. I guess for me maybe it ws right place, right time. I was lying on the golfcourse looking straight up at the stars and they literally came into my sight directly over my head.

I always pondered the fact they fly in triangle formation, like airshows or birds.

by the way if anyone is thinking it - they were definatly NOT birds.. unless they were a disc shaped species with flashig lights we have yet to discover!!

Hi Merka,

I saw something very similar a few years back. My friend and i were driving home one night. It was around 1030pm. All of a sudden a blue strip of light appreared out of nowhere. It was flat, a bit like looking at the side of a table top. It was like a thick lazer light, but flat and wide. The colour i would say was electric blue. It was'nt that close to us, yet it was'nt far away either. I guess the closest thing i could describe it as the trail on the starship enterprise. My friend was very shaken, but as this was not my first siting of something unusual it did'nt perturb me very much. There was no saucers or lights of any kind that we could see, just this massive flat blue " table top"
I have'nt seen anything similar since. By the way it was only there in our perifial vision for a few seconds. Like a bolt of lightening!, but horizontal and my word it was massive! My friend can back me up. He never believed in anything like that until that night.

I have seen a few "UFOs" in the past. I have made a thread about, but I will share my experiences with you briefly.

This past winter I was driving and saw what I thought was a "MerKaBah" light body on the side of the road just above the treeline. It was in the shape of a saucer, but more of a cloudlike object than solid. After looking at it for a few seconds it suddenly disappeared before my eyes.

The second occurence was on Valentine's Day with my girlfriend on the way back from dinner. We both saw a flashing light in the sky, although she said she saw 3 separate lights when I only saw one. They were pulsing brighter and dimmer for a few minutes, but once again I was driving and trying to pay attention (good luck with that eh). My girlfriend followed the objects for a while, noticing how they were below cloud level and a little above the mountains in front of us.

Very interesting sighting, open me up a bit.


I have had an encounter in meditation as well with another dimensional entity. He/she was green and humanoid except bald and had huge eyes.

I don't think it was a reptilian though, seemed too "nice" but a little freaky to see that.

I have had 2 sightings.
One was about 8 am, in a clear blue sky, there was a silver orb just sitting in one spot. It was way up there...looked like a star but it was close enought to see the silver hue of the thing and it was more dull... kinda', than shiny like a star is. It sat there motionless for about 40 minutes until the sun got so close that it washed it out.
The other was like the mass of floating white orbs seen some of the Mexico sightings. At first we saw only about 8 white dots floating about, next thing you know there would be some over here, then some over there, all in one portion of the sky. Some floating alone , some in formation, all just moving about...it was hard to get an accurate count of how many.. i counted 23 at one point while a coworker said he counted 31. We watched them for about 20 minutes until they flittered away into the clouds.
My wife had a sighting a bit more up close. While driving to her mother's house on the outskirts of town, she saw a really bright light above this empty stretch of desert. At first, she thought it was a helicopters spotlight, but as she got closer she realised it was more than one light. She pulled over and stopped to look at this light as it floated with absolutely no noise about 40 yards over her car. All she could see was 3 rectangular lights, setting side by side blinkin white, white, red. Each rectangle was about 3'x5' by her reckoning. What freaked her out at first was the fact that she couldn't see what these lights were attached to. Next, that it made not a sound as this thing floated over and into the desert lot. As she watched this thing it lowered itself to about 30 ft above the desert , just drifting along.
There's a bit more to her sighting but that's all she wishes for me to say about it. She rushed home as soon as she could, excited as hell and we raced back but there was nothing for me to see.
What amazes her was that there were a few other cars zipping along this road, it was only about 8:30 at night, near and about a residential neighborhood, and nobody else stopped or seemed to notice.

Just as a side note~
My grandfather told my mother that back in the 30's he was driving back from town to his farm in Iowa. He had my Aunt with him and she was about 2 at the time. He saw a bright star moving in the sky that got brighter and closer till it swooped down in front of his truck and forced him to swerve off the road and into a ditch. He jumped out of the truck to see what it was and it was gone. Not a sign of it around.
He was a simple farmer and didn't like talking about such things but thought it was important to share with his daughters.
My uncle also has said that he was witness to a saucer shaped object that came into view of his ship when he was in the service. He said everyone was ordered below deck while this thing hovered overhead and signed to secrecy.

Up until appx 2.5 years ago no, never seen one myself. It was a rayvac visual at night in Aug while I was on line doing a site talk at night with The Noory at Coast on the radio. But anyway, it was there outside my front door I'd guess 2-5 miles away and high.

But the surprising thing was, what I seen with my eyes and what I got on both analog hi8 camcorder and digital kodak vid were completely different. That amazed me. WYSIWYG doesn't apply when using devices to pick up a night shot.

Blue Skye thanks for the post, I really could not tell you anything you do not already know about what you witnessed. That is the difficult part of being one of the fortune people who have seen these miraculous craft. I can only hope and pray that one day we will be validated, and that we can know more about the particular types that we have affinities with. It does seem that certain types are seen in clusters and that is interesting to me, I just wonder if there are certain types that allow us to see them because we are part of their experiment.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else had had these different reactions if they've had more than one sighting. I also wonder also if my concern for my brother and my son was what caused the fear on the first and third event, or if the second sighting was actually a more of a non threatening craft. (I hope everyond understands what I'm trying to say.)

Blue skye I think that what you ask is very relevant, it is possible that the different types were either benovelent or malovelent. That makes very good sense. I liked the fact that when you felt threatened, instead of thinking of yourself you think of your brother and your child. You are the kind of person I would want by my side in any unknown situation. I respect that and your thoughts on the subject.

Personally, I've never connected fear with "ufo/aliens" I may be completely wrong in this assumption because, as ive said before, throughout history when a more powerful/advanced people encountered a less advanced people, the outcome is usually war and the destruction of the less advanced people.
Now if Im correct in my assumption that we have been and are being visited right now then, first of all, I would want to know how it could have been kept a secret for so long and what have we lost or gained by these visits?
Have the "aliens" and the nations leaders met years ago and decided that secrecy would be policy? Have, as some people have claimed, the leaders of the human race made an agreement with the aliens, trading people for technology?
Ive read the theories describing how humanity has been turned over for experimentation, slavery or for breading to create hybrids?
How in the hell could this be kept secret so long? If true then what has prevented these "superior" beings to land on a football field during a game? Or from landing at the whitehouse lawn at ANYTIME?
Theories abound, some of which I believe, that humanity has been given an evolutionary and technological boost throughout history.
If these guys/girls are real and are coming here regularly or occasionally, then why the secrecy and how can these visits be kept hidden and never have had an official record of them in all of history?

Only sighting ive had was when I was 12 (38 now). Anyway it was late at nite and my parents were asleep. Seems like I would always stay up late and look out the window at the stars and what have you.
Well I saw a light ( bright dot) that was brighter than the stars and it just sat there, after a few seconds a beam of light emitted from it and stopped a short distance away. Well while the beam was lit another bright light dot appeared at the end of the beam and the first one disapeared.
It did this one more time then it just disapeared completly.
I remember it so well. And it really didnt freak me out either, I never even told anybody. Very cool sight it was though.

When I was approximately 12-14 years old (I’m currently 29) my cousin (2 years older than me) and I would stay at each others houses for the entire summer. My cousin lived about an hour from me in a small town near Johnstown Pennsylvania. One evening, while staying at his house, we decided to sleep out on his deck, we always watched the stars thinking we would someday see an UFO. We noticed a series of lights in the sky that appeared to be stars but had a strange presence about them so we kept track of them and continued watching the rest of the sky. Over a 4-5 hour time period we noticed the strange stars seemed to move slightly from their original location so we began watching those stars exclusively. Suddenly small lights began falling from the group of stars; it almost appeared as if light was dripping from the formation of stars. This continued for a few minutes then stopped and the stars began to move more noticeably. It dawned on us why this formation seemed bizarre, it was as if the normal stars were in a backdrop in comparison to these lights. Now I’m not sure of the amount of time that elapsed (no more than a minute or two I would say) from when the dripping light stopped but the lights were suddenly very close to us. At this point we became frightened and started heading towards the house. We stood sort of half in, half out of the storm door as it passed over us. We could still see it fairly clearly because at this point it was only a few hundred feet or so above us. The craft was triangular but more like an isosceles triangle, not the typical equilateral triangle that most have seen (it was not like the TR-3B). It was very large, approximately 100 feet or larger and it was completely silent. It passed over us with a horizontal speed of approximately 10-20 MPH, I don’t recall any blindingly bright lights as it passed over, in fact it seemed to move like a shadow. I believe the craft was a dark color, black or grey with a dull finish and it almost seemed as if a very slight breeze kicked up as it passed over, the type of air movement you feel from an object in motion. I always wanted to be a pilot at that age (but somehow ended up an engineer) so I knew every spec. of every aircraft of the time and this resemble none of those. Additionally, I never had the impression this was one of our own top secret aircraft due to the eerie feeling it produced.

My cousin and I discussed the incident and decided not to tell anyone and over time it fell out of discussions between us. A month ago I was on Youtube and stumbled across the disclosure project videos and it sparked my memory. After watching some videos I called my cousin and asked him if he remembered the incident, he was able to recall it exactly as I remembered it with no interjection from me. He also revealed to me that years prior to the incident, he had been having terrible nightmares of abduction and experimentation by aliens of some sort. These nightmares reoccurred for quite a few years but he adds that they stopped when he was approximately 10 years of age and have not happened since. During my recent UFO research I discovered that in many cases, abductions occur when a person is young for a number of years but usually stop by the age of 11 and are often manifested in dreams. Any comments or thoughts?

Thankyou for your post Mike and I am glad you have decided to join the forum. I think that there are a lot people here on the site that can help you to clarify your experiences. It is great that you got the pictures, now can you take the film and put it to disk through the photo developer? Then take it to your local library or college or friend with the knowledge and ask them to help you upload it to the site here. We would all love to see the picture before we go any further. It sounds as if you have had many experiences through out your life and that is the kind of information I am specifically looking for on this thread. Try and remember as much detail as possible about the types you have seen. You are very fortunate to have had shared experiences, this helps you to feel validated and less like defending your sightings. You could very well be connected to one or more races of Alien Species. Be sure and check back to this thread often as some of your deepest questions may be answered. You will find that this thread is non threatening and the people here are not wackos and nut jobs, they are ordinary people with extraordinary experiences.

I've seen videos like this before. There is a very good prosaic hypothesis for these, and we would need much more data to rule it out.

This video looks exactly like an air-to-air flare target being hit by a heat-seeking missile. This happens a lot in areas like Southern California where there is lots of military air combat training going on.

When I was about sixteen I was on a golfcourse at night when I looked up & flying directly over my head were a formation of approx 14 disc shaped craft, flying in a triangular formation.

On the underbelly of each disc were a pattern of three ringed lights, one ring on the outside, one inner ring and a further circle making the centre of the underbelly. These rings flashed on and off in sequence and yet out of sequence with each other. As far as i can remember the colours were green, blue & purple.

The formation moved slowly and without sound (totally calm, clear and warm summer's night) I noticed as they passed overhead they were ever so slightly bobbing or swaying from side to side.

Behind the main triangular formation were another two of the same craft that were following the rest, these two were constantly zig-zagging in and round each other at incredible speed and agility while all the time following the main formation at the same speed (ie never overtaking or lagging behind)

I watched these craft as they moved off toward away from me and heading over a bay and into the distance. As they moved away from me they were low enough that when viewed at an angle a silver dome could be seen atop of each craft, glinting off the starlight. (this indicates the height)


I was the only witness to this sighting, I can remember there being reports in the press of stange lights being seen in the skies that night and apprantly it was mentioned on a radio phone in show I was told later.

This took place over 10 years ago and since then i have been hooked!! (sadly no other sightings, a few false alarms but nothing concrete)

Everyone I tell the story to scoffs at me (unsurprisingly) although after 10 years of solidly sticking to my story one or two of my friends are starting to accept I seen "something"

One a last note, several years later I was watching a TV documentary on UFO's when during a montage of different footage a video segment silmilar to the UFO's I had seen popped up on screen, I nearly jumped out of my seat!!

It was taken from a side angle, disc shaped craft silver dome on top and you could see the glare from flashing green, blue & purple lights emitting from the underbelly!!

Weird huh??

I seen this thread and felt compelled to post, if anyone has seen something similar post back because I never had it verified and generally keep it to myself.

Thanks for your time Marker, jst thought your sighting was very cool. I have an affinity for the type you describe and have seen them several times in my life. It was most interesting how you recalled the rings on the underside of the craft. I have attempted to draw the pattern so many times and cannot do it justice. The center is the propulsion unit do you agree? It actually has two wavy coils that move in opposite directions. That is all I will say here. Did you also notice that the "colors" were natural energy rather than manmade? I would love to discuss this futher if you would like. There are so many people on this thread that have had truley remarkable sightings, amazing how most are not recorded. Thanks for your input.

Disowndsky, This thread is not the place to argue about weather or not these sightings are military or fake or real, this thread was created as a SAFE Haven for our forum users to open up and discuss what they have experienced. I have yet to read a single post that I personally would debunk as bs. Please look at other threads to argue or skoff at eyewitness testimony and leave this thread for open honest non criticized First hand account's you would read many of the posts here I am positive you will agree. You were at 50,000 feet? Wow! What kind of plane were you in? Airliners typically travel in the 30-39,000 foot range, so you were another couple of miles above them.

A little interesting, perhaps some of our "friends" who have been visiting have an outpost on this large and very near (possible life sustaining) planet.

Here is my experience.

I was just a little girl, 1980-something.... I can't remember the year. Northeast Georgia, during a time when a lot of strange stuff was getting reported in this area.

I was asleep in my bed, when I woke up.... It was like I could almost hear something, but not exactly. I know it sounds crazy, but you know how those big fluorescent lights make this kind of hum that you more feel than year sometimes? It was like that. Well, there was a long window over my bed (kinda high on the wall. old house) and so I stood up on my bed to look out the window. Outside, over the woods, was a hovering V-shaped glowing craft. This was before I had EVER read about V shaped ships. To me, "flying saucers" were round, so this is not something I'd make up. The lights were white, and went around the edges of the ship. I just stood there, so shocked I couldn't even blink. I thought "I need my camera", but I was afraid if I moved it would be gone before I got back. So, I stood there and watched it for several minutes. Then, it did this IMPOSSIBLE 180 turn and shot off into the night.

I've wished ever since then that I could have found a way to make contact.
