Please then, using logic, explain why there wouldn't be any hostile aliens? Is it because if any species was able to develop so far technologically, then it would make perfect sense that they are not hostile, as they would have destroyed themselves? Oh please, how many species with interstellar travel do you even KNOW of? How could you possibly know how an alien society would work?

Same as you, I do not have any proof that there are hostile aliens out there, but at least I am considering both possibilities, where there may be hostile ones or may not be, hell for all we know there isn't anything out there, but until we do for know for certain, it would be very unwise to just assume that they don't exist. Doesn't seem very logical to me.

I do consider the possibilites that there are alien hostiles out there with interstellar travel. But i dont think its logical. To me.

I personally think,and it is my Personal , Honest Opinion that Hostile aliens dont exist with interstellar travel , simply because they woould have destroyed themselves in the process of advancing in warfare technology.

Not quite. Your logic is faulty. Logic dictates that you make assessments based upon non-biased observations and trends. Your only experience has been on this planet. On this planet there are many hostile beings. There are creatures with 100 eyes, 100 legs, flying capability. Some creatures glow in the dark. Some live miles under the ocean around boiling hot lava. So what kind of logic are you using that says says all alien life must resemble humans. Humans look the way they do because they live on this planet with our gravity and our element ratios and our sun temperature our our atmospheric makeup. If any of those variables change than the species would look different. Stronger gravity would probably lead to larger muscle mass. Different body. Darker sun would probably lead to a different eye. More or less oxygen would lead to many other changes.
How do you know that we were not created by an alien race as a 'friendly' experiment and that most of the galaxy is hostile. You don't know and you probably never will therefore you can't make claims such as you have.

There's a good reason to think any new visitor is hostile until proven otherwise. It's called survival. We haven't made it up from the primal ooze to lay asleep at this late date. Better to be prepared for hostility than not.

And speaking of arising from a lower life state; What of them? Any species that had the guts to tackle the stars, must have earned their spurs. They too arose in some dim past, and their planet was either the garden of Eden or not. If it was a paradise, then they never left it, because without struggle there is no push for technology. Meaning if you never have to fight for your food, only pluck it from the trees, then there's no need to learn how to set a snare. Too easy a life, at least in the start, is not logically inclined to produce a race that are very great as problem solvers.

But, a species that has the right cranial capacity, figuratively speaking, and must learn to overcome adversity to survive, has a chance of greatness. Any race that developed their own star travel would seem more likely to be aggressive than one that got it through treachery or trade. They would have earned the stars, and their big brains , in a long ago past.

There could be a million reasons. Maybe war is fun to them. Maybe they need some gold. Maybe they eat humans. Maybe they are drunk and out kicking butt for the weekend. I'm not kidding. We have no idea how aliens would think and what they value.
