Who cares whether Jesus was white, black, or brown? Jesus is any hue you want him to be. Anyways, we all know he was green.

Now, you're getting really ridiculous. What I quoted to you about was from Revelations. I really don't think He's doing a walkabout in the desert NOW.

Furthermore, people are walking around in the Middle East now barefoot and with sandals. DO any of them have the color of polished brass to you or that "olive complexion" that you love to throw about.

this is annother one of your pet issues where you are really trying to convince yourself more than anyone else.

Christ could be black but the likelihood of it to my mind is not that high. He could have been an indian too, is that so far fetched?

keep digging you may find something but frankly if Christ becomes black it will more likely happen in the second coming IMHO.

I don't have to "convince" myself. I already know. I am trying to get you and the rest of the brainwashed to see the truth and the fact that it does matter. You refuse to accept b/c it doesn't fit with your flawed paradigm of the world. Just as th eprophet Isaiah siad:

I don't follw the catholic Church because they have lied about the identity of Christ, worship objects as idols, create other gods to worship "the Virgin Mary, etc.," are KNOWN child molesters and homosexuals.

Now, you ignore the portion in this verse that says his head was white,
and you focus on the portion that says wool. wool is used as a color comparison.

Holy S***! Colonel is still talking about this! Of course I've been brainwashed and see Jesus as looking more like Jerry Seinfeld with a beard and tan, then Jimmy Walker aka "Kid Dyn-omite". But I think getting hung up on the melatonin is going to lead to a long road for you Colonel.

I follow the words of Buddha, Christ, Confucious, Krishnamurti, Marcus Aurelius, and anyone that has something deep to say. I wish the black community had an "icon" that was revered throughout the world (hopefully we will..."we" as in humanity!). Martin Luther King and Mandela are good steps forward (even Oprah deserves a big mention for her efforts to elevate spirituality and togetherness)...but reality says that such a black figure is today still unknown...maybe history hides it or the future holds it. I have a feeling though that before humanity's end, we will see someone step forward since the black community sees "reality" while the rest of the world at times gets caught up in ego-fantasies: "The Diamond in the Rough". Did not most figures of spirituality not come from being rebels and leading a different path? Somewhere there are numerous black people that can become that, hope it happens soon...our world needs help.

i was raised catholic, and it really pisses me off when people say this stuff. now dont get me wrong, im not christian, because organized religion in any form is stupid...::particularly trying to attack community churches

1. lied about the identity of christ? who hasnt? if the catholic church were the only ones to have their own story then THIS FORUM WOULD NOT EXIST!

2. worship objects: what objects are you talking about here? dont even list the rosary, holy water, the building itsself, etc. its frivolous and unneccessary,yes, but so is religion as a whole

3. worshipping mary as a god: never worshipped mary as a god. believe mary to be a communicator to god. look at the creed: "I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
the Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord"
the creed goes on to say "concieved of the virgin mary" and thats it. mary, be gone! and hail mary? "hail mary, full of grace. the lord is with thee. blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. holy mary, mother of god, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death" you can look at it literally ad say "oh they bow down to mary!!! they hail mary!" but when the prayer was written, what else are they gonna say, "gee, thanks alot mary, for being jesus' mom." mary, in the church, is considered to be a connector to jesus, and a sanctuary for all feminists who believe that god is a woman.

4. known child molestors: yeah, thats true......my bad!

personally, i dont follow the catholic church because it sucks...ive grown up in it, it sucks. i dont follow any other church because they suck too. even if i havent been there, to me the idea of "religion" sucks.. so ha!
