This is really good footage. I am very impressed it seems to have all the tell tale signs of a legitimate ufo.

What is the matter with people in ATS. I have seen worst videos out there of blurry who knows what, and they give it the terms UFO and Flying saucers. This one is better visible and they call it the 'THING".

Whatever man... No need to call it the "thing" or that it's "something", call it what it is, and that is a Flying Saucer.

We never actually see a saucer shape or disc shape in that video. We see a cigar shape or elongated cylinder. It could be a disc seen edge on, but pending further analysis could also be plane seen edge on.

Very interesting. The person who shot the video certainly seems to have seen something. I lack anything even resembling the expertise to claim BS. Color me open minded skeptic.

Dont be so exciteble. Yes, I'd say it looks like a flying saucer. That doesnt mean it is one. It makes much more sense to call it something. Either way, whatever you want to call it, what we have here is a video with interesting things on it. Those people that you keep arguing with, like my buddy Drexon, are doing the right thing to attempt to question and scrutinize the video. You call it debunking, and maybe thats what it is, but doesnt it make sense to try and debunk something that seems outragious? I mean, if its for real, it wont stand up to the debunking.

There are always limitless possibilities and explanations for everything. Just because it looks like a flying saucer doesn't mean that it is or isn't. Calm down, don't get caught up in your own excitement, and realize that Drexon and everyone else here are just as interested in this video as you are. They are simply trying to intelligently analyze it. I hope that you see my point!

Dont take this as a flame becuase its not. Just trying to show you some perspective.

After further views I saw this too, the object is'nt locked to t he background plate, which leads me to believe the person who composited this just did a lousy job of tracking it to the background using afterFX or Inferno or some such software. too bad tho I wanted this to be real

As for the video, it does look like it could be real, however, I noticed the thing was shaking with the camera as well. When I compare it to the background of clouds, something just doesnt seem correct with it. Nice vid, but I am a little skeptical of this.

Interesting video and pictures. Thanks for posting this. I can't tell what it is but it does raise and eyebrow. Doesn't have a fake feeling to it to me. It could very well be a true flying saucer.

So when you saw your UFO up close did it look the same as the ladys video?

After viewing it several times i cant comprehend how some of you people come to the conclusions you do.

for starters it never once moves with the shake of the camera it stays right where it should stay with a moving camera for an object in the sky.

As for the person that brought up a knick in the windshield did you not notice the powerlines that went buy with the ufo on the opposite side of those powerlines or the trees that came in between the object and the camera.

IMO this is one of the better ufo pictures i have seen posted on this website now if we can just figure out if it is a ufo or if it is identifiable but i dont think we will figure it out.

The Flying Saucer I saw was 60ft or more wide. It was about 7pm. It hovered above a mountain that was about 1000ft away for about ten minutes. It flashed lights at the mountain as if searching for something. I stood staring at it and kept thinking to my self what it was. In my mind, I wished that I could see it closer and a few minutes passed and the ship came towards me. It was just hovering by. It passed in front of me at about 500ft high and real close. That was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. It made no noise, and flashed an array of colors at me and my friends. There were 4 of us at the time. It was definitely Saucer Shaped, metallic, and made no noise. I was about 16 at the time

THAT story is more interesting than HER video.

Too bad you guys didn't have a camera. Where are you from and what mountain was this?

My apologies if I offend but IMHO all I see is what appears to be the blurry footage of a blimp. Maybe someone should contact Goodyear to confirm or deny that?

If you check it closely you can see it does'nt stay locked with the background, find a reference point of cloud and see if it stays locked to that point or is moving (consistently?) I think neither is true. Its a very good fake but nonetheless, a fake

By the way I have some experience in visual media, as an animator/graphic artist for over 10+ years

It really looks like a blimp to me, you can even see a line of lights move down it's side at some points, making me think it could simply be the LED wording on the side of a lot of blimps.

people act like most people see these things are professional cameramen with state of the art equipment.

Good Video. I'm still up in the air about the authenticity. I did some photoshop editing - and while i'm no expert - I don't think the ufo was edited in afterwards.

Here are some photos -

This one is cropped and zoomed, with a little bit of focus / blur adjustment to give a somewhat crisper image.



This next image has also been cropped and zoomed, as well as having the levels and saturation raised to possibly reveal other artifacts in the red spectrum of the photograph.



It's interesting to note the perfect block that can be seen around the ufo in question. I'm fairly sure that it's a by-product of the compression algorithms in jpegs / mpeg picture/video codecs. If this is true, then does that mean it hasn't been edited in? Expert analysis and interpretation would be extreemly helpful.

If this video was actually shot where they claim..You can rule out a blimp..Not close to any big cities..No major sporting events..

Looks like someone was in a vehicle videotaping this plane which makes it appear not to move but in fact is in relative motion of the vehicle the camera was in. IMO

There are two things that I find suspicious.

The first is that the "UFO" jumps too much about the image. The following animation is composed of frames 226 and 227. In it you can see that the clouds move but the "UFO" stays exactly on the same place. In the next frame, that I did not use, the "UFO" would be in the correct place when compared to the clouds.

The other thing is that the "UFO" appears too many times "doubled", as in the next image from frame 362. It may be a normal result of the video, but I think it is too pronounced in this one and that is what I find suspicious.

Having said that, I am no video expert.

PS: the images were resized to 200% and the GIF animation, because of it's limitations, had the coulors reduced to 256.
