Sadly its not looking good at all there for them,

Thousands of villagers remained on high ground as more than 27 aftershocks, including a magnitude 6.2 quake, shook the region and scientists warned more tsunamis could follow.

Some damage to very needfull things,

Many water tanks have been damaged, and we also have a problem with food supplies. The gardens have been inundated, so there is a problem with fresh food," Caritas spokeswoman Liz Stone told Australian radio.

I am surprised that there is not more media coverage, do you suppose its because they dont want a repeat of the Tsunamis a couple of years ago with all the $ going out to the aid?

True, For some reason news likes this get lost after the first day, also due to all the Iran events Earthquake news kinda goes to the bottom of the pile,

Anyhows to update:

Seems the relief effort is somewhat all over the place,
Some towns are still to recieve aid, Red cross are in theer trying as much as they can,

We are under-resourced, we need bigger vehicles," said disaster official Jonathan Taisia at the main Red Cross centre in hard-hit Gizo town, as a chartered helicopter landed with the latest load of tarps and food.

The death toll is stillrising now at 34 with still no real number of missing,
