I have seen many times people say that if ETs show up many people would have their religious convictions shattered.

The last time I saw someone say it, it made me think of one thing:

If there are intelligent beings on another planets, do you think they have any kind of religion? If they do, what kind of religion? If you think they do not have any religion, then why?

Does anyone have any idea (or information
) about this?

Just curious.

Multiple abductees and contactees have reported that the aliens that they came into contact with were extremely religious, and that during their time in various alien spaceships there were shown images of Earthly religious figures and were told that they they had equivalents on the aliens home worlds, or even that they were essentially the same as something in the alien's own religion.

Different people have said different things, but reading between the lines it would appear that ETs and humans follow different branches of the same religions. Like how you get Jews and Muslims which are very different when it comes to practice and belief, but who trace their origins back to the same origins.

If anything ETs might come down and use advanced technology to demonstrate that one or more human religions are scientifically andor historically accurate, thus reinforcing people's religious beliefs.

You never know, an alien might have been watching and recording significant events in our religious history. ET might come down and have aerial photographs of the Exodus actually happening. Or they might have Ezekiel's "flying wheel" in a museum somewhere.

So crazy you said that. I was literally just thinking to myself today.
"In the future will technology evolve so much that any persons life can be recorded on a daily basis for their whole existence, so that on their death bed they can watch all of their good times back to themselves"

Very simular like how when you move from this world to the next how people say their "life flashed before their eyes".
Maybe they do record everyone's lives and document them for studies.

Their computer databases could be astronomical compared to what we have.
Maybe the aliens are just the fallen angels who work for God keeping notes on all us fine regular folk on the big old round blue.

well if all our religions revovle aroung things like the elements, the planets and the sun, it would makes sense their gods came from such things that have improved or stressed them along their evolutionary path... originally man and woman were made from clay then a few versions in they decided no woman have to be made less important so made them from a rib.
the goddesse took a tumble when the abramic religions took over. maybe plato started that by sending pandora with all the evils, i dont know, but know we are in reversal again..... i wish theyd make up there minds.

or maybe they are trying to turn us all into hermes and aphrodite

Tough to say since historically religion has had a huge influence on cultures an customs. If old traditions endured time, an several major technological/industrial revolutions, maybe they could have one.

Aliens having a church in state another matter, but if religions had any revelance to reality, and aliens believed to be more scientifically advanced then us...well, truth stranger then fiction, for there were things they couldn't believe.

I think there is two sides to the paradox though, where from our pov, there is a technological dimension to it, all the while a spiritual or psychological one too. Like comparing dogs to wolves, very similar, and all the while different.

Thing is do they all come one source or multiple.

If you are to believe that we were created in Gods image as mentioned in the genesis or form of genesis of most religions, not just spiritual but also physical....that is to say a head, torso, arms, hands, bipedal legs and feet.... if this is what God looks like ....then it would not be a stretch to then believe, that he also created intelligent (as we have identified it as for ourselves) life to look somewhat, you would think, the same on other life supporting planets in the universe. Hmmm....the possibility that the Creator God created other aliens to also look like him and us. So then worship of the same god, if possible, would be universal in theory for his life sustaining planets.

At this point, let’s pull in the present scientific notion that other planets with the best possible chance to support life is based on our own planet being in a Goldilocks Zone orbit and distance from a star.

Then the question becomes .... if it’s the same God, is it the same Religion we have? Well , perhaps God has a creation playbook of sorts for creating planets with intelligent life in his image, no matter where he creates these planets. Keep in mind God mentioned here is the Creator of the Universe God.. Mr. Big Bang himself... not so called lessor god(s)...

So now each planet, being created with different nuances so that religions to worship God would develop slightly differently, in some respects with the bottom line of recognizing God ultimately, as their Creator God and of all the alien races God created.

So how are intelligent beings elsewhere, if existing, could be in his image? What about the grays? What about the reptilians? Surly they don’t look like us.

I submit to you, theoretically, that Gods image is many forms, a root baseline image template he created to be used for intelligent creatures. The root baseline image template requirements are that whatever intelligent creature is created on whatever planet..... it is formed with one head, one brain, two eyes, one nose, one mouth, two ears, one torso, two legs, two feet and the gift to procreate and with a multitude of modified looking differences and internal organs so as to exist and survive in different atmospheres with different natural resources of worlds created...Just as long as the root baseline image template is not severely deviated from.

Every created creature, on its own has some, if just minimal, intelligence....imo. Every creature in gods image, are created to evolve productively. ...i.e., simple example, if you didn’t have an opposing thumb (digit) on both hands...how would most things get accomplished? Reflect on what it took for humans to go through the industrial revolution...would we have this, that, and the other thing, without thumbs?

Since the dawn of cave painting and pictographs we have imagined and drew beings (alien looking) not like those who actually drew them. Fast forward to the dawn of sketching, painting, film, multimedia, etc.

We have created a multitude of aliens and what they are perceived to look like from our imaginations .....gobulous goo, to creatures with pincers on the ends of their extremities, multi-everything and everything in between that.

For lack of proof of anything, I believe God’s, root baseline image template is the most efficient for created worlds. Any extreme deviation such as ... let’s say half man half horse would be a construct of his own creations wanting to be creators like the Creator God himself and attempt to change the root baseline image template.

Of course...procreation to extend the species was given to us by the creator God..... You might say, we who can procreate, are actually micro-gods... are we not? Do we not through procreation “make man in our own image”? Do we not pass on to our children the tangibility of having a spirit? Perhaps aliens do to.

Do all religions on all worlds (assuming practiced on other worlds) .... “ultimately” ...point to the same Creator God whether known in the pasts or yet to know in the futures of those worlds?

That answer is currently astronomically beyond our thought processes... imo.

I don't think it's my prerogative to speculate about whether space aliens have religion or not --- Since I don't want to step on anyone's toes about who has religious faith; because it would be wild speculation on my part.

But based on my own collected evidence about certain otherworlders who occasionally visit our planet: They do have an intricate knowledge about all of Earth's faith based religions. And they possibly use that knowledge as a way to communicate with earthlings, because it would be easier for us to understand that message that they're willing to convey.

Hmmmm .... Aliens using parables to communicate with the lesser evolved mind of the currently modern human species. That’s certainly a possibility.

Source Link: en.m.wikipedia.org...

Parable

“ A parable is a succinct, didactic story, in prose or verse, that illustrates one or more instructive lessons or principles. It differs from a fable in that fables employ animals, plants, inanimate objects, or forces of nature as characters, whereas parables have human characters. A parable is a type of metaphorical analogy. “

It has been used by JC of higher intellect to convey his messages to the lower intellect minds of his day. Parables are used by parents to teach their children. I suppose it is viable... it is a proven method of alternative communication.

This assumes Aliens also know languages and dialects from Earth....or we attempt to learn theirs. An Alien Rosetta Stone so to speak.

One of my favorite abduction stories. At 9:36, one of the abductees straight up asks the aliens what is the true religion on Earth. The aliens answer that none of them are true, but apparently didn't elaborate beyond that.

Well I was hoping to avoid much emphasis on abductions mostly about experimentation and sexual abuses... but it’s unavoidable when God and or Religion is part of the story in the abduction in terms of dialogue to or from Aliens about God and or Religion.

Blue Shift, that point in the Vid was interesting in that I got the sense (to paraphrase) ....the Aliens were like Religion? What religions? We don’t know anything about that?

I have one that has stuck with me even til today ... not that it could be fake or real, but just the notion that aliens would claim to be God. It’s the dialogue that has made an impression on me as possibility... and it’s from the movie The Fourth Kind.... the story of this abduction centers on Aliens which may have been Sumerians (imo..more like Annunaki Aliens speaking in the Sumerian language). The character gets possessed by the Alien and channels what he says. He says he is God among other things in Sumerian.

There is the theory that the Annunaki created humans for slavery to mine gold. It’s fascinating that the Sumerian (Annunaki?) may be tied into Aliens in this modern times, supposed abduction. Below is a short clip of the God mentioning....

If you buy into any of the SERPO documents, release 28 goes into the religion of the EBEN. Here is an excerpt...

ALL visitations occurred at the sprawling Groom Lake Complex. During
each visit, a representative from the Vatican WAS present. The pope was
particularly interested in the religious activity of the Ebens. The
Ebens worship a God. The pope feels their God is the same as ours. The
Ebens worship God differently, but NOT so much. In fact, OSG brought
artifacts of the Ebens' God that fits directly into OUR [Christian] God.

Several Eben paintings, sculptured statutes and carved fetishes were
similar to our God. In fact, the story of their God -- appearing
thousands of years ago on SERPO and setting up religious sects on their
planet -- is similar to our story of Jesus. The Ebens chant verses,
which, when translated, are similar to OUR prayers. The Eben chants
contain 26 verses which they repeat every day at their prayer hour,
which is in the afternoon (SERPO day).

The chants sound like Tibetan chants. On a particular Eben day of their
year, the Ebens expand the chants to 38 verses. The extra 12 chants
pertain to "angels" -- which we have translated to mean "saints" -- who
have helped the Eben society. This information has NEVER been released.

The basic beliefs/religion of the Ebens are simple. However, their
practice is very complex. The Ebens worship one (1) God, which they call
an "Entity," and they have religious symbols that reflects other
religious entities, which they call "sub-entities." This would be
similar to our identification with saints.

The Ebens belief in life-after-death is similar to the Roman Catholic
church and to some Eastern religions doctrines. Once an Eben dies, their
soul [bioplasmic body] is taken from the body by these sub-entities
(saints) and cleansed of all their sins. The soul is then taken to a
midpoint, (Catholics would call it "purgatory") between Heaven and that
midpoint. Then once the soul is ready, it is taken to the "Supreme
Plateau," (Heaven) where it remains for an eternity.

Their beliefs become much more complex at this point. Some souls, called
"The Arranged" (that is their word), are prepared for entry back into
the living society, i.e., this plane of existence. The Ebens believe
that if they perform some specific act -- referred to as "karma" on
Earth -- during their regular life, they then can come back to the
living life in another body. The Ebens believe in reincarnation and the
eternity of the soul. The Ebens do NOT believe that animals or their
sworn enemies of other space-travelling races have souls.

This is something that might help hold people over on the "Project
SERPO" subject matter until all of our files and materials have been
given back to us from the Dept of Defense.

OAHSPE ...... A striking find of this book, is when I searched for the word Starship. It is indeed used several times singular “Starship“ , and once plural “Starships“. Amazing that Starships are being mentioned as used by Angels...I suspect you could think in terms of Angels as Aliens if you read this Bible... personally using the word “Bible” ... is subjective, that title has been taken already. I like to think of this book, as a new book for which a religion can be based off from... i.e. like a “Book of Morman” type book.

Through out the decades this book had been published in hardback, softback, and in other revisions. This book is over 1500 pages. I have a hard and soft copy in my own theology library......If anything, I suggest you read the Genesis type writings....since imo, all religions have a genesis (a beginning)

A remarkable compilation of writings... to think it was written in the 1800’s to include the modern word of Starship(s) .... which may in fact be the first use of the word as a means of transportation travel. (Side note: It was written in 1882... the Aurora, Texas UFO, supposedly the first newspaper publication reporting of an Airship (UFO) event, was written in 1897)

There have through the years been detractors, neigh sayers, debunkers, oh it’s sacrilegious.. it’s blasphemy...It’s fake..etc etc. par for the course when challenging existing dogmas of the worlds religions. Yet, for example... The Book of Morman survived to have a following.

From wiki......

Oahspe: A New Bible

Oahspe: A New Bible is a book published in 1882, purporting to contain "new revelations" from "...the Embassadors of the angel hosts of heaven prepared and revealed unto man in the name of Jehovih..." It was produced by an American dentist, John Ballou Newbrough (1828–1891), who reported it to have been written by automatic writing making it one of a number of 19th-century spiritualists works attributed to that practice. The text defines adherents of the disciplines expounded in Oahspe as "Faithists".

Oahspe comprises a series of related interior books chronicling earth and its heavenly administrations, as well as setting forth teachings for modern times. Included are over 100 drawings. The title page of Oahspe describes its contents with these words:

A New Bible in the Words of Jehovih and His Angel Ambassadors. A Sacred History of the Dominions of the Higher and Lower Heavens on the Earth for the Past Twenty-Four Thousand Years together with a Synopsis of the Cosmogony of the Universe; the Creation of Planets; the Creation of Man; the Unseen Worlds; the Labor and Glory of Gods and Goddesses in the Etherean Heavens; with the New Commandments of Jehovih to Man of the Present Day.

"Jehovih", "The Great Spirit", "Ormazd", "Egoquim", "Agoquim", "Eloih", "The I Am", and "Jehovah" are some of the names used throughout Oahspe as the name of the Creator.

According to Oahspe the Creator is both masculine and feminine. Om is one of the names used to refer to the feminine (mother) aspect. Other references include, "The All Person", "The unseen" and "The Everpresent", "The All Light", "The Highest Light". God and Lord are titles of office for a person in the spirit realm who began life as mortal/in corporeal form (spirit within a body). The Creator is all and was all and forever will be all; He/She was never born and is beyond all Gods. The Creator is our father and mother, and all that are and were born are our brothers and sisters.

So what is the biblical story --- Jonah and the Whale --- labeled as --- parable or fable...or none at all?

I believe that the otherworlders were trying to convey a message to me (that I photographed with my camera in 1972)...about Jonah and the Whale; only they put a surreal, laser holographic twist to the photographic image.

The only time I have ever heard of Oahspe is in the book ‘The Mysterious Origins Of Hybrid Man’. It has nothing to do with aliens, but if you thought evolution had problems before, this book will show you why evolution has so many holes it cannot float or fly.

A reviewers quote.... “Martinez’s conclusion that the Little People are the real missing link in the history of humanity is supported by worldwide evidence, including pygmy tunnels, elf arrows, dwarf villages and tiny coffins. Her book is lavishly illustrated with photos, diagrams and artistic renderings that bring to life an astonishing view of our biological and cultural origins. Those who are curious about such things will find themselves spellbound by her vision.”, Metaguide Magazine, September 2013

Yes, for some, evolution is an enigma unto itself especially for those who believe in an evolution procession such as this below....where gray’s are little people as well...

Personally, I don't have any reason to think that any hypothetical aliens follow one, more or no religions, if they exist they probably follow the same principle we do on Earth, each one has their own interpretation, loosely grouped in a few main religions.

Like any person who assumes authority (ever watch The Walking Dead??).

No.

Oh, their religion. My guess is pretty much the same as ours.

We don't have "a religion" on Earth, we have several.

As far n a singular God not a god here (or there). And if you watch Ancient Aliens then you will see that if AA theory is true then it Their idea not ours.

I don't watch Ancient Aliens and I don't believe their idea is correct.

But most of us already believe it (even without a debate about the existential idea of god being brought up). Even atheists concede that point!

Believe in what? What do atheists concede?
