Amber, please answer my question.

What did the aliens from your encounters look like?

Where in this thread did she mention aliens??? I can only read that she described a craft of some sort and her showing the pictures that she took.

Please, quote me where she described seeing aliens in this thread? I'm happy to be proven wrong, as I must have missed it.

I think i'm going to cry, I just want to forget this now. You are also wrong, I have not modified the photos in any way, this is what came out, really. I have no answers as to why the stars or whatever are like that, thats just the way the photo came out

Once again, Amber, please describe the aliens from all your encounters.

Please do not avoid this question.

I'm sorry this is making you "cry", but you must understand we have a high standard here at ATS. In the search for answers, truths will stand up under close and harsh analysis.

So you say these evenly-distributed multi-colored dots are stars then?

Has anyone else ever seen such a star field at night?

Has anyone else taken a shot of a clean star field holding a camera up with 1/8 shutter speed?

ok, heres what i'll do, tonight i'll go out and put the camera at the same settings, then i'll take a photo of the sky, if you want i'll video me doing it, right to the point of uploading it for you to see, then you can check that photo out and see what it looks like.

What do you think?

tezza, I will answer your question when she answers mine. I do not want to answer at the moment because it might give him/her a different answer.

She stated that she's had multiple close encounters encounters.

the "aliens" he is talking about is from my first post on ATS in 2005, I didn't call them aliens.

She didn't mention aliens in this thread, so why be cryptic with your question?

folder with full res photos

ok, so back in 1994 I had a sighting ( I did mention in my first post about having other sightings), it was very long and maybe you'd be better to read the thread. ~But, in short what 4 of us saw was small, human shaped beings, no hair, about 4 feet tall, sitting in a craft on a road, they shine white, as if illuminated from within.

Ok Amber. You have a good atitude,

If could do that for me (take a pic of a patch of sky)
WITH SOME LAND IN THE BCKGROUND ok?

If you can do this for me, that would be great.

I also want to know what ISO the camera is set at and its Shutter speed.
not one or the other, but both.

this picture MUST have Blacksky with an object or Land mass Partialy visable.

Thank you.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

What else do you have besides those pictures?
Not enough information to even begin to make a claim....

I've no problem with mindful skepticism (read my past posts - you'll see I carry around a supply of wet blankets), but the only claim I have seen so far is simply that something small and self-luminous was seen, behaved oddly, and was photographed. Reasonable persons could disagree about what "extraordinary" means in this case. What other claims are you reading into this?

For me, I think the photographs are quite interesting, although going from there to evidence would take a lot of arduous investigation.

I will do that tonight, and send you all the information I can.

Thanks for giving me the chance to, i dont know, to show what I say is true.

Amber, here is your description of not only encountering one species of "alien" but three:

Down on the road below us were two small pyramid like objects with one small shining white occupant in each, at the top of the pyramid was an orange light that penetrated the fog all around them.

Source: www.abovetopsecret.com...

This thing, man sized, but black, really black, with horns or something under his hood, he wore a cloak, started to move around the top of the hill.

[...]

It just wasn't human, I have no clue what it was, its legs were weird, bended oddly, its face was black with just a hole, making this sound.

Source: www.abovetopsecret.com...

Lastly, you gave us a story about you placing a crystal in an area and having an encounter with "hippie" aliens:

I'd been given this crystal by a friend who'd got it in India, its huge and heavy, I wasn't really that impressed having to carry it up the hill, but I'd promised him I would. I placed it in the centre of the hill, and lit some small night light candles that had been left there by someone else, then I went back and sat down.

[...]

I heard people coming up the hill, talking, it sounded ok, so I relaxed. Two people arrived on the top, a man and a woman, the moon was high and I could see the quite clearly, hippies I thought.

[...]

She asked if she could sit down, our friend flashed us a look, he was never one for hippies types as he called them.. I said yes, and she sat with us, she started to say that she had meet the man overseas and had felt the urge to travel with him, and this was how she had ended up here.

[...]

When she left the guy came over, he stood over us and said" You have lit the light of truth" at first I thought, oh here we go, but he seemed ok.

[...]

He said he had travelled over water, through the air and in metal, for thousands of years he had been moving around.

Source: www.abovetopsecret.com...

So you encounter "aliens", not only once, but 5 times. Once being the "white light" beings, the second being the one you describe like a Satyre, the third being these hippies, the fourth being the one you said you saw right after the "white beings" and also took an additional 10 photos of (note, the post was made on posted on 12-1-2005 @ 10:23 AM, so it can't be the same photos she has posted in this thread):

We did go to another hill with a camera, and I took about ten photos of some lights in the sky that formed into a triangle shape, this time loads of people were up there and they all saw it to.

Source: www.abovetopsecret.com...

And now this one you're telling us you've encountered another one, in this thread.

Dude, I understand where you're coming from. With every post, she appears to lose a little credibility. I'm not blind.

However, I still don't know where she posted about seeing aliens IN THIS THREAD???

Looking at the Origonal Folder, theres a small chance that the noise is caused Soley by your Camera Being set to a Very high ISO lvl like 800+

Maybe , just maybe Sony has Post procesing "in" the camera that Give a false noise effect.

Thats why I would like you to take a pic of the sky with somthing Else in it.

Thanx, look forward to analysing it.

She experienced aliens/extra terrestrials. She described the "UFO" as being able to hear her when she said, "Now, I don’t know why I did this, but I did, I spoke, "hello, come here" as soon as I said this, it started to come towards us..."

Either she's implying that the "UFO" itself is a being, or that it had occupants that heard her and understood English.

Amber, perhaps you can share those 10 additional photos you took the year after your first encounter.

Hi again TrentReznor

High ISO Noise reduction

All Digital camera suppers from a common malady, called "High ISO noise". What does it mean is, if you select a higher ISO speed for your sensor, your will get some extra digital noise signal. This noise manifests like tiny colored specs scattered all over the picture area. It is kind of like getting grains when you use high-speed films. This happens due to the fact Image sensor cells produce electron charge over time and depending on the temperature. Cooler the temperature, lesser the noise, higher the temperature, higher the noise. Unfortunately, even in normal ambient temperature, the existing image sensors produces appreciable amount of charges to degrade the image at low light and / or longer exposure. In technical term this is also called Dark count and Dark noise of the sensor.

Dark count is usually expressed in electrons per unit of time at a given temperature. It can also be expressed as a current per sensor area at a given temperature. Dark noise is approximately the square root of the dark count. Both of them are a function of temperature. So by cooling the sensor, it is possible to reduce the Dark count. In Astro-photography, telescopes are fitted with special sensors, which are cooled externally to virtually eliminate Dark Count.

We are not so fortunate, as our Digital cameras are not equipped with micro Refrigerators! But there are few things we can do to minimize this annoying effect.

The first and foremost effort should be to minimize the usage to ISO higher than 200. In Canon Digital SLR, this can be achieved by using a high speed lens and / or using lens equipped with Optical Image Stabilizer. The other option is to use a tripod
If ISO 400 or higher is used, try to overexpose by 1/2 stop, which you may compensate in Photoshop later. Remember, darker the image, higher will be the noise.
While post processing in Photoshop, try Despeckle and Noise filter.
Noise distribution is not uniform across RGB channels. Some channel tends to be more noisy than others. So first inspect individual RGB channel and apply the above filters only in the noisy channel. This will help to preserve image sharpness to a greater extent.
Those filters makes the image soft. So you may localize the filtration by first selecting the noisy area with a lasso tool.
An excellent software tool named Neat Image works great on removing noise. Download the working evaluation copy from www.neatimage.com
Use Unsharp mask carefully on a noisy picture, as noises will become more pronounced. So you should first reduce noise and then apply the Unsharp Mask.

The "Noise" Is Not From Photoshop

After looking at the EXIF data in the source images, the ISO was set to 1000, which usually introduces noise on consumer-level cameras.

It also means the noise is not stars.
