Probably one of the finest bands to come from the 60's
The Hollies

Still around with only 2 originals but not the same sound, in this video still with Graham Nash

Some Small Faces video's. A truly great band.

Tin Soldier - Released December 1967.

The backing singer is PP Arnold, a Northern Soul great.

All Or Nothing - UK No 1 August 1966.

Both of these are true classics and still get regular play at Scooter Rallies.

Whatcha Gonna Do About It - 1965

Possibly my favourite Small Faces number, has such a raw feel to it.

I Can't Make It - 1967
(A bonus bit of classic Morecambe And Wise at the beginning
)

I found this in my father's record collection when I was about 16 and gradually got into them as a result.

Lazy Sunday - 1968

Fantastic tune, excellent video.

And finally....
Hey Girl - 1966

The most under rated Mod revival band The Chords recorded an excellent cover of this song in 1979 (maybe 1980, not 100% sure)

A quote from this song was posted in a thread today and it reminded me of what a good tune it was. And quite prophetic and profound.

Barry McGuire - Eve Of Destruction - 1965

Sadly probably more relevant today than when recorded.

Edit to add;

Not quite sure about the sentiments expressed at the end of the video though! :shk:

I'm pretty sure that she's not who they had in mind when they wrote this song. However, there are no other versions available on YouTube at the moment, so... If I was Fripp & Co., I would've made a better version available on YouTube. If they read this and decide to act positively (by not removing videos posted by others. Keep in mind that this is free advertising), please please make some videos from "The Brondesbury Tapes" available. Any kind of video will do, even a slideshow. Tracks 9, 11 & 21 is prefered, but other tracks from that album would be fine too. The track used below, is track number 23 from the album "The Cheerful Insanity of Giles, Giles & Fripp". Enjoy! (Tip: You don't have to stare at this picture while listening)

Frank Zappa & the Mothers - Lets Make The Water Turn Black (1967)

I've heard so many different versions of We're Only In It For The Money album, I start to wonder if each and every copy are unique. That's Zappa's genious. You believe you have the album, but you actually only got one copy of the album. You'll need to buy each and every album of Zappa you can find to hear it all. Even the ones you already have...

@ Hellmutt, couldnt agree more regarding Zappa, pure genius.

Some classic aussie rock with the legendary Stevie Wright, George Young (angus older brother) and Harry Vanda. Vanda and Young became iconic producers of aussie rock, including obviously AC/DC.

The Easy Beats - Good Times

Their biggest hit.

EasyBeats - Friday on my mind
