If you get a dehydrator you can make all kinds of healthy snacks.
Try apple chips, or banana chips. Soak banana and apple in lemon juice mixed with water before you dry them so they don't turn brown.
You can also make great tasting healthy jerky with a dehydrator. Recipes are all over the net.
My Dad, weird as he is, makes jalepeno chips in his.....:shk:

I like celery sticks with a little bit of Peanut butter down the center.

Some peanut butter has a little sugar, and some Hydrogenated oils.
But you can buy some healthier brands of PB, that are pretty tasty.

A dehyrdator sounds like an excellent idea! I enjoy fruits a lot. I like to snack on them too, sometimes I like them in yogurt or smoothies. And actually I had a beer last night, but that was just a social event.

I agree, it's good to avoid hydrogenated oils they kill your arteries, you can always look for an organic brand of PB

I was gonna say that too. I've been eating these since I was a kid and I still love 'em.

When I was a kid my mom would make celery sticks with peanut butter and then she'd put raisins on them and called them "ants on a log" or something like that.

I prefer them without raisins, but hey knock yourself out.

Also don't underestimate some nice jello with a little cool whip and fresh fruit...it's healthier at least.

And also a bowl of cereal as long as it's not fruity pebbles isn't bad.

Though fruity pebbles is dang good, actually now I want some fruity pebbles.

Yeah,I like jerky too, which they only really just started selling in the UK. Rasins and nuts are good and healthy.Beware though my brother once found a rasin when he was about 5 and ate it, only to find out that it was a tick. My mom said that blood was running down his chin, that is really, really horrible
*shudder*

Shhhh...dont let the voices get to you!

A lot of people mentioned dried fruits and such. I pig out on these dried cranberries I got at the local BJ's. A small handfull of that and a few walnuts and its a heart healthy snack. Beware of the sugar content while eating dried fruits though.

I like baby carrots and ranch dip. The ranch might not be as healthy but it's super tasty!

Cookies are healthy as long as you don't eat half a bag.

The key is moderation.

Okay you guys that mentioned the celery and peanut butter… have you tried apple wedges dipped in peanut butter. Oh man that is so good! Really try it…and I don’t mean some mushy soft nasty apple…a nice firm, crisp, sweet/tart apple.... like a Gala. I have a Liberty apple tree out back, and it's the best apple ever.

Tomatoes, I can eat them all day long
Summers coming, and I can hardly wait to walk out in my garden and eat them right off the vine. I’m a tomato junky, and the world would be a terrible place without tomatoes.
I eat peas right out of the garden too...nice and sweet...I hate them cooked though.
