Try it
you'd be surprised. You do lose nothing asking, that's for sure

If it fails at one school, try it somewhere else.

He has. Read what he wrote...

How do I know? I'm a teacher. Yes, I have given my students UFO related material in class and I can tell you that it was frowned upon.

He also explains further of why it is frowned upon in his post.

Well that happens. Sometimes people 'frown upon' these things. That's why people don't want to speak out. Was he able to recover from being frowned upon?

Poor guy.

What happened? When the Vice-Principal takes a disliking to your 'alternative' approach, then any other little claim made against you becomes beat-up and blown out of proportion. I don't think that it is possible for a teacher NOT to receive complaints. We all have students annoyed with us, especially while we are enforcing the rules.

End result: You are placed under pressure that you are not performing well, despite having very good rapport with many students. There's always a certain group that you never connect with - that's life.

Final result: It basically came to an ultimatum. Stay at the school under intense pressure being put under Due Process. Or, leave quietly and find another school. I left and found another school. While there are many schools around, it's not convenient to be changing jobs JUST so you can push your UFO agenda. You don't want your record being smeared with false accusations borne out of hypocritical accusations.

Teaching is a legal mine-field that can screw people over at the utterance of one 'wrong' sentence. There would be few work places with as much scrutiny as a teacher has to suffer day in, day out.

That's why I can push the UFO barrow away from school on internet forums instead!

Anyway you can, everything is welcome

Here's a neat thing you can do for a class: Initiate them to astronomy. Or any of the quantum physics, or anything related

-Contact a deputy or senator

-Sign the Decade of contact petition.
-Sky watch twice a week for 4 hours, for the next 2 months, borrow a camera from a friend if you don't have one.

Great ideas, maybe if enough people do this, we can actually get something done.

I think a Moon watch would be a lot more productive in the sense that we would be looking up any ways, and the moon activity seems to be our best bet with the optics available...(to us)
Moon Watching is a very romantic passtime and can be accomplished quite well with even binoculars of decent quality.
The moon-watch would in effect double or at least raise immensly, the chances of a sighting of either type....
I think emphasis should be put on attempts at telepathic communication too.....(sounds hokey but many contactees have reported that telepathic contact is established with ease by these visitors.)
By this i mean a deliberate focus of intent on seeing and interacting with the visitors and an attitude of calm friendliness and welcome.....
Perhaps even an attempt at contact during meditation before going out on watch........
If one accepts that the idea of visitors is plausable, then the rest f the imaginations extrapolationd are also just as possible......
Once this fact is accepted then some progress can be made in learning the facts and dealing with the situation on a broader front.

Awesome!!
You can use High powered lights as well and remember, they react to signaling with anything like lasers, flashlights and the like.

the only means we have is to get everyone interested in ufos so a dicslosure could be made without freaking everyone out. other than that its pretty much impossible, i mean steven greer has had like 300 military witnesses ready to testify for 6 years and he hasnt really made any significant progress lol we couldnt do anything

stay on topic please.
List various means to assist disclosure.

-Umm. For the next 3 weeks, i will skip all the 5$ coffee, lates are darn expensive here in Ottawa
, and drink regular coffee instead. The money saved can be used to assist any organisation as a donation or by buying material from them to support the cause.

-I will invest in an alternative radio, like coast to coast by registering with them as a form of support

-I will add advertising for one of my favorite organisation on my website or Blogg.

-I will watch less brainwashing TV

keep them coming...

Since Bill Gate is my buddy, I will ask him to assist Steven Greer and www.SEASPower.com

(wish Bill was really a good buddy
)

If any of you know someone with influence, either spiritual, political or financial, tell them!!!

If we should do somthing - My thought is.

There should be a webpage - for us.

European - Skandinavian - American - Canadian - New zealand - Autralian... Spanish - Italian - French..

Split up into countries - Where we live and where to meet.

From there we could make posters - and stuff we could give out with directions about what is really going on on the surface of this planet.

Im sure some of us are capeable of creating web graphics...

-

We could make a A4 news-paper.. That is simple to copy in thousands.

The good thing about it would be - we only need to tell what Disclosure Project is about. Posters about gatherings....Social talk - To make us comfortable talking about this subject with other like minded. ect.

Expand it.

Like: If you live in Germany - small city.... Your closest gathering point would be - a city 2 miles away - Or people near you have these MSN messenger adresses.

- then stuff would start happending..

Our objective could be to translate - and add the missing sub titles on the press conference -
I started that 3 years ago - but never finished it.

To put sub-titles on the Press conference. All you need Is a few programs - We could borrow each-other. Video editing programs ect.

And add subtitles... For people who don't understand english unless there is a written word in their own language.

Im sure the Disclosure Project would love such an effort.
-
There is a problem with the missing subtitles.
How you expect people to try and understand english - If it's about UFO's - There is a mental blockade - With subtitles - People are use to read on their TV - the subtitles... It's a habbit.

and they are usually not very good.

All is needed is computer people - we can do it.

We don't need a billion dollars to do that.

Greer tells us it's very pratical things. allright.

Anyone knows how to add subtitles - or what program would be the best for adding subtitles ?

I have seen people refuse to watch it - Because there is no subtitles.

I TESTED IT FFS...

They watched the part I had translated - But started turn their head away when the subtitles ran out...It's a daunting task to add subtitles on a video...

That's a great Idea!!!

I asked CSETI about this, but at the moment, they are completely swarmed. They are overwhelmed by the amount of work to do. I was going for french only, but I should have thought about all the various languages...

So, you will have to get this going by yourself for now.

Use the following free tools to do it.
Aegisub to add the text on top of the video.
AVISynth is a script you can use in Virtualdubmod. AVISynth - it has a special DLL to load the subtitle on top of the video.
Re-render the whole thing in virtualdubmod.

Another solution is to add the Subtitle to a DVD. I think you can have 32 subtitle tracks...Aegisub and virtualdubmod would be used again, but the compositing part would be done in an authoring tool instead of virtualdubmod final render.

Important links:
AegiSub - Subtitles made easy

VirtualDubMod Great Free tool for video.
AVISynth
AVISYNTH Stuff
Subrip Plugin for AVISynth to read Subtitle files in VirtualDubMod

This is an excellent idea Ram!!!

I would be willing to take the time to create this, if I knew there were enough people interested!

Does anyone have a good place to host such a site? (I'm a bit low on funding at the moment....
)

Hmm can I make a database and ASP-type pages with it?

I'm thinking more along the lines of creating a whole new site for this....

But it's free

Man, I'd like to be a part of this, but I'm not good at actually getting around to doing stuff (read: lazy). I've always dreamt about having my local UFO watching group, going out to a remote place just outside of town a few times a week and just have fun. But as it stands I have no job nor the willpower to do something like this. =/

Drexon, talking is free

Do what you can to the extend of what you can do.

Nothing stops you from going out on your balcony and checking the sky few times a week
