But I have to add, its good that Jews in here can see the funny side of things...and not like blow up innocent Palestinians or run them over with tanks for a change and have a laugh at their own expense.

Jews, Christians, Muslims, Hindus, etc. are all the same. You are all adults that believe in fairy tales. Its kinda interesting reading this thread and seeing all you Jews pat each other on the back in an effort to reinforce in each other illogical beliefs.
Somehow being Jew makes it okay to discriminate against gentiles? Because all groups do it? That is the problem with religion besides it all being based on fairy tales taken from previous religions.
Religious fairy tales are fine to teach children right from wrong but like Santa Claus one should re-assess those stories as an adult for what they are: fairy tales. Don't you ever wonder what happened to God once science was discovered and humans no longer needed deities to explain things like thunder, insects, and disease? Did he take a vacation for past few thousand years?
Religion = War = Death

................like other immigrant groups, Jews have relied first and foremost on familial resources to adapt, survive and prosper in America.
When millions of Russian and East European Jews arrived in the 1880s and 1890s, established Jewish families — obeying the ancient injunctions to Jewish charity enshrined in the Mosaic code — constructed an elaborate welfare system, including hospitals, orphanages, settlement houses and trade schools. Most of these immigrants went into the booming garment industry, putting their whole families to work and giving rise to a thriving ethnic economy in which Jewish factory owners employed Jewish workers to create goods sold by Jewish merchants to Jewish customers.
How can we square this long record of familial and ethnic nepotism with the public insistence of Jews on equal opportunity and merit? While most would surely point to the long Jewish tradition of social idealism, a more practical reason may be found in the disproportionate benefit Jews derive from a meritocratic system.

Do you think Corsig that this kind of clannishness still exists today. If your going to be realistic I suppose you'll have to admit that it does. In your opinion to what degree does it exist, is it institutional. And do you agree that this kind of partisan attitude is part of the reasoning(if you can call it that) for the persecution of the Jews, I've read how the Nazi's used this as justification for their persecution.
