Wiccan Questions regarding Wiccan breeding program
That topic made me chuckle

Does anyone belief in Witchcraft
Witchcraft is the occult predecessor of the "new-age" neo-paganistic Wicca

Real Magick
I enjoyed this topic. Too bad it died out eventually due to lack of questions.

If you have any other specific questions just ask.

Post your questions.

Not only will you get a answer from a Wiccan, you will get answers from several different types of Magick users.

Agreed...

But sincerely... I think you (w810i) need to do your homework and research a little bit at least to know what you're looking for...

If you want to actually do the spell, well, I would say Magick is not a shortcut, you can't jump in, do a spell, jump off, it requires meditation, centering, rituals, more meditation... training, it really sucks XD

And by the looks of it, you should really, really think over if you need or not to do/ask for a 'spell'... But post it anyway, you might even get more than you asked for (on a good way)

I am fairly well acquainted with the subject and I have many resources to call upon if I do not know the answer.

LoneGunMan is another ATS member that might be another source of information for you.

U2U me or post it here and you will get answers.

I certainly agree that spells are nothing to play with. The Craft is a religion, not just a way to work magic. For example, I am not Catholic - therefore attending Mass just once and going through one confession would most likely do nothing for me. I think I would probably have to embrace Catholocism completely before I would hope to gain all it promises. With that in mind, I will do all I can to assist you.

OK I have a bit more time.

You really need to post your question here, the only thing anyone knows about you is you have (or want) a Sony phone.

The mods will put an end to anything that will wreck the thread. You might get a few "let Jesus handle it" or "Magick is BS" posts but so what? If you have an intrest in these things you will have to get used to those reactions anyway.

Also please consider that someone else may have the same questions as you do. By posting your question here some time in the future it may help somebody.

As a bit of general advice, you really have to understand all the possible outcomes of doing Magick. You really don't have that much control on how things might manifest, for example if you did something for money, your parents might die in a horrible accident and you receive an inheritance. Or if done for love you might end up with someone who is dangerous in a Fatal Attraction way.

As I read these threads, I loved what Raziel89 said.
w810i, You have to slow down and take a step back. You can not approach any form of Witchcraft without knowlege or belief. It truly is a work of art. I do a lot of herbal magick, spell work, and ritual work. As well, I meditate, concentrate on my Chakras, listen to my soul and the higher power that works for me. You have to start with educating yourself. You seem confused and I suggest you pick up a book called The Truth About Witchcraft Today by Scott Cunningham. First and foremost, learn what Wicca is. Take it from there and see where you fit and how it fits within you. It is different for everyone. Good luck to you and let me know if you have any questions.

Hello all,
I registered to answer this one. I am Wiccan and hope I can help with your problem. I have a feeling I know what it is. I dont have enough posts up for a U2U but I will be posting like crazy as there are so many interesting topics here. As soon as I have enough, I'll send you a U2U. It will have to wait until after work though.

You know, we Chaotes have a thing or two to say about confusion and disorientation. Chaos Magic may well be what you're looking for.

If you want to learn how to move the atavistic forces but you don't care too much about dogma or arcane mathematics, U2U me. If your mind isn't too ossified you can reshape your whole internal reality, and this in turn can remake the world if you let it. Just be careful, whatever you decide to do.

I have a question. i know very little about wiccan (too many books on the occult to read and too little time) but ive wondered for a while now how much power do your gods retain? i know wiccan isnt as powerful as it used to be due to the witch burning and such but do your gods still have enough believers to power all the old spells?

I'm no expert or anything, but I've been interested in occult studies for a long time now. From what I understand the "Gods",as you call them....only have as much power as you hold them to.If you believe Ra is your supreme being, and use him in rituals, then he'll hold great power over you,and your life.At least that's the way I understood it.

Witchburnings got nothing to do with Wicca. Wicca was founded AFTER (WAY AFTER) the burning and retains very little of the original witch teachings to begin with. The witchburnings is just an excuse for wanna-be witches and wiccans to jump in the role of victem. Most women who were burned had nothing to do with it to begin with, but the church believed that they were.

I am aware that most of the witches burned were innocent but i thought the burnings may have scared alot of the followers away. as for gods well im not entirely certain this applies to all gods but from what ive read it sounds like most of them are a kind of thought form used as a focus point to channel enough energy together to perform spells that take alot of people to power so i was just wondering if theirs enough followers these days to power a certain wiccan spell used a long time ago that ive been curious about

Wicca is 50 years old, no ancient spell for them...

Edit
The double post was not intentional, sorry XP

I used to be one, but the drama got to be a bit too much, so I'm more of a salad-bar mix now. However, I'd be happy to answer any questions you have to the best of my ability.

Gods can be seen as thought forms. Concepts that allow people all across the world to focus on through rituals, prayer etc. By focusing on the aspects and descriptions the godform is created and will be "fed" constantly. You could see it as a pool of energy that grows bigger and bigger. This is called a group concious or an eggregore.

In the past there were many gods, including the christian one, who all were created by mankind. Since there have been countless devoting individuals feeding the imagery of their gods they grow to excist. But some, like the babylonian and mesopetanian gods "died" in due time since there were no followers left any more. Some gods were taken in by other societies so they could "survive" in another form.

Getting a powerfull god or deity depends on how old it is and how well "fed" it is. Still do you truly need powerfull deities? Opening a can of coke with a nuke isn't practical. This is why people are also able to create lesser thought forms, which are called Servitors.
